Rose held her head up high and snorted forcing to back up, her muscles tense.

Vivian kept her backing up, never once giving the mare her head, until they had reached the opposite end of the arena, then she squeezed very lightly on her sides, just barely giving Rose her head so that she could move forward into a trot.

Rose rolled her eyes, the whites showing. She chewed on the bit, and then lunged into a trot. She tried to shake her head, but the reins wouldn't let her. Being forced, she followed Vivian's command, trotting, bringing her hooves up high as she trotted.

Vivian looked back at Sean as she kept Rose moving forward in her trot. "What's her discipline?" She called across the arena to him. "Does she do dressage?" She asked as well.
Ella smiled to herself as she watched. "Well, well, look who gave in." She said proudly.
Majestad continued watching and smirked a little as well.

Sean's face was lighten up. He smiled. "She does do dressage. I got her from a dressage breeder. Her parents both were worldwide champions. Unfortunately she got the attitude."
Rose's eyes grew dark and shook her head hard. 'Perfect'.. Rose bucked wildly, like a wild bronco untamed. She tucked her head low and continued to buck, hopeing to get Vivian off her back. She hated this human riding her.

Vivian smiled again. "Good." She said, then began dealing with Rose's bucking. She pulled up hard on the reins, forcing her head up to keep her from bucking. "Nice try mare, but you're gonna have to do betetr than that to get rid of me!" She said to Rose, then, shortened what little of the reins was left to shorten and dug her heels into Rose's sides again, forcing Rose into her hands.
Ella pinned her ears back and reared up in her stall and started kicking at the bolt on her door. 'She's going to hurt Vivian!' She thought to herself as she started panicing.
Majestad grew alarmed seeing his sister start rampaging. "Ella, calm down!" He said, but she ignored him, becoming all the more enraged.

Rose snorted loudly and backed up fully. When Vivian pressed her heels into Rose's side, Rose reared up, full height, kicking out in the air, sending a pericing whinny threw the air.
Amy gasped. She was about to run in there but, Sean stopped her. "Don't. Rose will only get wilder. Trust me." He said serious. Amy stood back and watched.
Rose bit hard on the reins and tried to shake her head.
Pancake whinnied to Ella. "Ella! Don't!" Pancake reached out to calm a nervous yearling that was bucking and kicking in her stall, sweating starting to form from all the racket.

Vivian leaned forward, grasping Rose's sides with her legs, this was just like a Mezair from Majestad. She kicked the mare again, giving her enough of her head to gallop. This mare just needed to run for a while to let the energy out. She kicked her again to make her move.
Ella saw Rose rear with Vivian and heard Majestad and Pancake telling her stop and calm down. She stopped and stood trembling, her coat covered in sweat, watching with undivided attention and fear as the bay mare fought with her person.
Majestad extended his neck out of his stall door towards Ella. "Ella, she's fine, don't worry, Viv will be fine." He said reassuringly.

Rose snorted loudly. She lunged into a gallop, botling around the pasture, thunding the ground like crazy, speeding. The wind flapped hard against her neck. She shook her head and galloped faster and faster, until finally her legs started to wear down, to a canter, to a bouncy energic trot, to a soft low trot, to a fast walk. Rose panted, her breath heavy, sweat emerging from her bay coat. Steam came off Rose's body. She snorted loudly, being forced to keep her head up. She didn't like it up so high, and lunged on her back legs again, half rearin pulling at the bit. She trotted fast towards the edge of the fance and bucked hard and wild trying to get free. She spun around and bolted again two more times before staying at a bouncy trot, panting heavily. She wasn't going to give up.
Pancake pulled gently at the filly's short mane, tugging at it softly. The yearling pulled away shying to the corner. Pancake blew softly, before bringing her head back in.

Ella snapped at the filly. "Stop it, you big baby." She snorted, then returned her attention to the arena.
Majestad snorted. "Ella, be nice, it's not her fault." He said turning his head towards the filly. "Don't mind her, she's just grumpy." He said with a wink.
Vivian held Rose's head, but that was all, the let the mare run when she wanted and change her gait when she pleased. For now, all she wanted was for Rose to calm down. She started talking softly to her and she praised her and patted her neck when she slowed to her trot. "That's good girl, Rose. " She said as she sat in the saddle while the mare continued to trot.

The filly looked over at Majestad and just blinked. She snorted softly before she decided to scratch herself on the stall wall.
Pancake smiled. She pulled playfully at Majestad's long forelock, before looking back over the stall and watching what was happening in the ring.
Rose snorted loudly, gald to feel free to do whatever she wanted. Once Rose was calm with smoothing words she slowly brought herself back to a walk, still alert and ready to bolt or buck, her muscles tense ready for action.

Vivian stroked Rose's neck. "That's good girl.." She said, then sat back up in the saddle, straightened her back and lifted her hands to balance the mare out. She squeezed lightly on Rose's sides, driving her into her hands to keep her balanced and to try and get her to collect as she transitioned into a trot.
Majestad smiled again at the filly then squealed playfully and nipped at Pancake's forelock in return before he too continued watching.
Ella too was still watching Rose intently, but had calmed down seeing Rose stop bucking and rearing. At least Vivian was safe for now.

Rose lunged into a trot, steady, still alert of what was happening. She did as she was told collecting herself and trotting.

Vivian patted her again, trotting her around the ring a few times. "Hm." She said to Sean. "I think that Rose needs to a hand that is harsh when needed, like when she starts her usual antics, and a soft and quiet hand when she calms down, like now. She just seems to have boundless energy, so perhaps before riding, you should take her for a 10-minute in-hand walk or somehing to let her get some energy out, then go ahead and mount." She suggested. She then asked Rose for a collected canter.

Sean nodded smiling. He couldn't beleive what was happening. Rose never acted like this.
Rose snorted and changed her lead when asked for. on the right foot, keeping her gait light and steady as she cantered.
