She was awoken suddenly but Blaze's cry. She groggily got up, and went over to his crib, and picked him up and cradled him, looking over at Nyx with a soft smile.
"Hey hun...wake up..." She kissed her boyfriend softly, and woke him up, he looked so groggy, maybe even a bit worse then she did.
She smiled, "They are both fast asleep...why don't we place them back in their cradles and let them sleep, so we can get some rest ourselves?" She whispered softly, gently rubbing the top of Raevynn's head, her eyes filled to the brim with love for her two children.
"Hopefully they will sleep for us..."
She walked slowly over to the cradle, and placed Blaze in it, who just kept on sleeping.

The next day.....
"Damn it...." She said in a mumble while fishing through her drawers for a item needed. Naomi had gotten herself ready and all, but still couldn't find her wallet. She had looked from her bag and had almost ripped it apart without finding a single sigh of her beloved wallet with money. Naomi was going to do some shopping for clothes and food and then look for a place to work at. But this morning seemed to be a drag since she wasn't able to locate the damn carrier with money inside. Looking to the bedroom door she guessed it was better to ask then make him wonder what she was doing ranting and almost tearing the room apart. "Hey Jin....you wouldn't have happen to see my wallet have you?"

Waking up a bit groggily like lack of sleep was making him more and more tired. He let out a tired yawn and looked to Natsumi with a faint smile before looking to Blaze that was cradle in her arms securely. Hearing what she said, Nyx looked down to his daughter to see she was asleep like Natsumi said. Well that put him more at ease, as he got up and placed Raevynn inside the cradle after Natsumi had place Blaze inside. "Yes hopefully they do let us get a few minutes...I beat and am straining to keep my eyes open." Walking up to her, Nyx pulled her into his embrace before kissing her on the lips. Taking her hand gently he walked over to there bed and got inside.

Natsumi climbed into the bed, and curled up against him, and almost instantly fell into unconciousness.

About an hour later, she was awoken by a crash, like glass breaking. Then she heard her children crying, and then she heard footsteps.
Scrambling out of bed, she rushed to the cradle, and screamed, tears streaming down her face. Her children were gone, and only a tattered note had been left behind.
If you do not give up yourself now, dear Natsumi, Your children will die....
She started to sob, and fell to her knees, shaking. She recognized the handwriting, it was Amber's.
SOMEHOW they had found out...and SOMEHOW they had gotten in, kidnapped her son and daughter, and left. She scrambled to her feet, and started to bolt towards the door, when she decided to run back in and get Nyx.
"N-Nyx...Nyx....Please wake up..."
She was sobbing out his name, "They found out....they kidnapped them...our babies...they..." She broke down, She had the note in her hand, tear stained, and when he was up, she handed it to him, shaking horribly.

He was unaware at what had gone on all around. You would have thought he'd be the first up and alert to such cruelty happening around them in house but Nyx had been so tired that every sense of awareness was numb in his mind. It had taken a Natsumi to awake only to bolt up when he noticed her sobbing right in front of him. Looking at her with worried yet tired eyes, he placed his hands on her shoulders while looking at her confused at Natsumi words. The children were gone...but how? Taking one hand off to look at the note she handed to him. Reading slowly, he had to digest what had just happened. Taking his other off her. He rushed off the bed and looked to the cradle to see it empty without his little ones inside. Now he was deeply troubled. A wave of anger shot in him so fast his bare hands were practically shaking with rage. Natsumi real family had guts for messing with his own. Nyx for sure wouldn't be all to happy when he forcefully took back what was rightfully there's, taking ones children wasn't such a good idea even if they weren't human. Growling under his breath, he had to try calming himself down before looking back to Natsumi. He had a feeling she was going to do what she told on the paper. "Natsumi don't you dare...please I can't risk saving you and babies!" Nyx said with concern yet remorse.

Natsumi was sobbing, "N-No....I...I have to..." The tears stopped flowing, and she inhaled shakily.
"I-I have to do this. Whatever happens to me...promise me...PROMISE ME you will care for them....always..."
She winced, and started to pull away, "I'm sorry..." She whispered, Kissing him softly, before pulling away, and running out into the rain to find their children.

Taking a quick turn, Natsumi had already left his side. He knew he wouldn't be able to stop her, when her mind was set like this then she would do it. Gripping the railing of the cradle, he had to control himself not to break it with his strength. The happiness they created with all there love was being crushed into pieces. Why couldn't the two just be left alone with there children unharmed. Did her father want to see own daughter like this? He was one evil but the father seemed to be the worser of the two.

Nyx...I'm sorry....follow if you must....but.... She was choaked up in tears, I need to make our babies safe...
She was breathing heavily, running. Finally she found it. The same warehouse she was taken to before when she was abducted before.
She took a deep breath, It's the warehouse...hurry....I need to get the children to someone...
She walked in, tears streaking her face, and she narrowed her eyes.
"FATHER! AMBER! COME OUT! AND BRING ME MY CHILDREN!"
The two stepped out of the shadows, Amber smirking, holding one child in each arm.
"So...your boyfriend too afraid to come with you...?" She sneered, menacingly.
"N-No....I ran away....I...am willing to give up my life for my children...just...." tears streaked her face, "Don't hurt them....get them out of here, so they don't have to see....I don't want their mother's death burned into their memory...."
Two assistants took the children to another room, and Natsumi breathed in deeply.
Nyx....these are my last words...I'm sorry...and Tell Raevynn and Blaze I love them...and I love you.... It was then she cried out, and she was run through with a sword, she coughed, blood leaking from her mouth. The sword was pulled out, and she lyed in her own pool of blood, her life draining quickly, and if Nyx hurried, she'd be able to die where she wanted...in his arms.
I don't.....have much time....

He had been silent when she apologized to him. Nyx was so enraged that he wouldn't forgive Natsumi for this. Picking up the phone after she explained where they were. He dial in a familiar number that would help out if needed to. Marrok was apparently staying on earth these past few days after checking up on how he was doing. Yeah Nyx and Natsumi had thought he was out of there lives for good but the Pantherian seemed to not trust Nyx on earth.
He contacted the guy quickly and gave him a quick 411 on what happened and told Marrok to meet up at the warehouse. After hang up the phone quickly, he let out a fierce growl of anger. His body shifted back into the predator he really was. A panther with golden hue optics that never wavered of fear nor sadness. Just the look of rage of how this whole ordeal was turning out. Now on all fours. Nyx quickly raced to where she said they were. It was a surprise they had decided to meet at the same place where the last problem happened. Hearing Marrok call him from the bushes. Nyx was surprised to see him still in his human form and not the four legged beast he was.
Seeing that expression on his furry face. Marrok could only snicker softly as he shook his head at the ignorance Nyx was showing. "You need someone to rescue the children with to arms to hold them while you play the knight and shinning armor." He said before his expression grew serious after hearing Natsumi voice. They needed to hurry before things got too dangerous. Watching as Nyx stalked out of the bushes first, Marrok followed behind silently as they made it to the side of the building. Hearing soft murmurs of a few people and the scent of his children. Nyx had motion that he'd go in first to take down a few of them while he himself get the babies.
Quietly going inside after Marrok opened the door for him, he kept low while he attacked the few guards that were armed and about to shoot the children. So much for self sacrifice. Amber and her father weren't going to leave in there children alive if she gave up her life. Occupying the armed guards, he glanced quickly to see Marrok head in and quickly knock out the two holding the babies. Luckily he was fast to grab them away in time without putting a single scratch on him or the two little ones. After dispatching the last one standing, his head shot up from what Natsumi said. Golden eyes with with terror at what was about to happen. He quickly bolted for the door without a single thought of what he was doing. Nyx left the children in Marrok care for the moment since his own loves life was endanger.
Pulling the sword out of his own daughters body. A chuckle of amusement came out of his mouth as he watch Natsumi go down to the ground. A pool of blood started to form from beneath her limp weak body. This was becoming a win win situation. Now he had to only eliminate her boyfriend and this would all be over. Simple task were always what he loved most. Looking down at Natsumi like she was nothing but dirt, he spoke in that low but malicious tone of voice. "Your efforts for saving your children were for nothing. Right about now, your children will be joining you to the after l-" He was briefly cut off from an roar of angered. Turning to see what was lurking in the shadows. He saw two very scary pair of glowing golden eyes. They showed rage and vengeance in them that the middle aged man had to take a step back from it's ferocious glare. But he quickly regained his composure once he knew who exactly it was. "Well well if it isn't her boyfriend. The detesting alien that she fell for. I'm glad to see your still alive after what happen last time."
Oh Nyx could all but growl as he kept his eyes on the man. The guy had the never to place his foot on his mate like she was nothing. He was taunting him to see what he would do. Bad choice...oh very bad choice indeed. Once the mans foot applied more pressure to Natsumi skull, he couldn't take it. Quickly catching the man off guard. Nyx pounced on to the man and bit right into his neck with little effort. Feeling the thrash of his swords making long cuts on his furry back. Nyx decided to end it by snapping his jaws shut and causing the guy to have ripped out windpipes. That for sure would cause him to die slowly and painfully. Going down with him as the they both fell to the floor. Nyx felt the slam of a folded chair behind his already bloody back. Releasing the mans neck he turn quickly to see it was Amber who kept on continuously slamming the chair on to him hoping it would do more damage.
Hissing low and silently. Nyx let out a growl of defense as he took his paw that now had his claws fully extended out and slashed at her. She quickly dropped the chair only to scream in agony. He left a good scar to reminder he was just as evil as her father was. Watching for split second as she backed away and sputtered a few cussing words. Amber rushed out of the warehouse and out of his line of sight. Nyx for sure was going to show her thing or two if he ever caught her close to his family again. Turning to the limps figure of Natsumi. He could all but let out a whine of sadness as quickly turn into him human form and rushed to her side. Wiping his mouth from where he had bitten her father. He didn't want Natsumi to see what he had done. Kneeling down, he pulled her into his embrace and hoping she was still alive so he had a shred of luck to get her to the closest body of water possible. "Natsumi...why...why did you have to do this..." Stubborn tears were beginning to well out from his eyes as he held her tightly without trying to break down.

Natsumi looked up weakly, her eyes welled up with tears, "Nyx...it was because...." she took one last breath, and said her last sentence, or so she thought. "Because I love you...and Raevynn...and Blaze...I vowed to give my life...if I had to..." And then she felt tears stream from her face, "Take care of them for me...okay?" She smiled softly, "I'm such a failure...as a mother...and a mate..." she then went limp, and cold, as she finally let her life go. She was too low on blood, and couldn't breathe as well from where the sword stabbed her, she was gone the minute she walked into the warehouse and gave herself up.
There was nothing she had longed for more, then to just live with Nyx for the rest of her life, wishing it was forever, and her children, even maybe a small ceremony for a wedding, just for the two of them. Nothing fancy or anything...but just a small, private one.
Within that matter of minutes, everything was crushed, as Natsumi's cold, limp, bloodied body layed in Nyx's embrace.
"....There's a body of water....just outside the warehouse..." This time it was Amber, who had sobs racking her form. It was just at that moment, at her and Natsumi's father's death, that she realized what she had done..and not of her own free will either.
"I'm so...I am such a fool...to have let my father brainwash me into doing something so horrible....if you hurry...and transfer some of your blood to her...you might be able to save her..." Tears streamed down her face, "I....I think you should kill me....I can't believe....I wouldn't be able to live remembering all of this...."
She was shaking, "Please just kill me..." she said, shakily. She was really just this weak little girl, just like Natsumi had been, and their father just used that to his advantage.
"Please bring her back..."

((Sorry if I'm a little harsh in this post. I'm just making Nyx express his anger and grief. sweatdrop ))
After hearing those words come out of his loves lips right after her last breath. Nyx wanted so much to tell her that she wasn't a failure. Not as a mother of their children and not as his caring mate. But he couldn't, Nyx knew she couldn't hear him if he pleaded and cried that she wasn't what her father ever thought of her. Hugging her tightly in his embrace he cried silently to himself, while holding his dead girlfriend in his arms. Why....just why did it have to end like this. Why couldn't his love be spare. She didn't deserve this death. Hiding his face in lovely maroon locks. He didn't want her to depart like this. Part of his soul was had been engraved into her own just so they could be linked together. That was something he held precious.
Being so grieved of his girlfriends death, it had taken a familiar smell to make him be still for just a moment before pulling away a bit and looking at the lovely scarred face Amber in the eyes. She had a lot of nerve coming back here. Especially after what she helped her father do. Hearing her quick explanation through sobs about how to try and revive to and Natsumi and for be used by him. Nyx could only growl at her with a hatred in his eyes. She pleaded for him to end her life. He would have. But as he lift Natsumi from the ground and continued to walk forward until Amber and Nyx were side to side with each other. Nyx could only say this. "I wouldn't have spare your life the moment you walked back into this warehouse....but....be lucky that Natsumi saved you from that fate....I know she wouldn't want that for her own sister...." He said coldly before walking out and heading straight for the empty harbor they were close to.
Holding the babies in his lean muscled arms. Marrok watched from a far at the tragic scene that took place. Natsumi had said her last words before passing away. Deciding it was a good idea to turn away from them. He was kind enough to give Nyx a bit of dignity to grieve over his lost love. And he knew how hard it was on Nyx, since anyone who made a binding contract with their marriage partner had a very strong connection that surpassed many connections that regular mates had. Natsumi was probably one of the few humans every to be part of it, and with her very strong emotions. She had made a bond strong and more hard for Nyx to depart from him. It was trully a tragic to see.
Looking to the little two pantherian kins he was cradling silently in his arms. Marrok couldn't help but notice a few of their features were a bit similiar to their parents. The little girl had of course Nyx black as night hair though had the eyes of her mothers. The boy, oh he had the moms maroon colored hair but with the fathers eyes. Both had a good and exotic combination of both and of course they had the ears and tails of their father. Marrok guessed it was a strong gene that every pure blood like him and Nyx carried that made their offspring look like that.
His attention was right back to the Nyx, once he heard a girl speak. And the same one he had grown suspcious of since she had been the one to give him and Jakar info on Nyx where abouts. She explain to be brain washed and Marrok could kind of understand that but he was worried Nyx might have not. Letting his eyes travel to Nyx he noticed that all to familiar glare he had given to many when he had been back on their home planet. Marrok didn't know what he could do to stop him if he attacked her but he hadn't instead. Nyx carried his dead lover and walked forward. Wait was he nuts! That type of ritual was dangerous. It was more harmful then the bonding one Nyx had performed with Natsumi. He could hurt himself physically and mentally. "Nyx that's like suicide! Don't do something might end your life. Think about your kins!" Marroked yelled as he rushed up behind Nyx and in front of Amber with a pleading look in his eyes.
Turning back to Marroks pleads to be reasonable he could only shake his head before turning once again and walking into the water. "It's my only shoot to bring her back alive....I know the risks as much as you do Marrok. But I just can't lose her like this so easily. Natsumi....means a lot to me." He said those last words in a soft whisper before placing her in the water, on her back. Nyx let her supported head and legs from tipping over as he began to chant something in a very ancient language known to their race. Letting one hand go just a second, he concentrated until the area beneath him and Natsumi glowed a soft blue light. It was then that he let go of his other hand and she was floating by herself. Saying a bit more chants, he took his index finger and let his nail grow into a sharp pointed tip before cutting his the palm of his hand. The blood didn't look like the average red he used to give of. Nyx blood was a silver like liquid that almost looked like mercury. Placing his hand on top of her wound gently. He prayed that this blood transfer would be a success. His power was beginning to deminish for putting too much strain on doing so. After a few more minutes. The light given off from the water finally went out and with that. Nyx collasped halfway. He had become weakened by the how much power he used.
