"What?! So you're really trying to find a spell to kill me?!" Alucard flew over to the front door and turned back into his normal self so he could grab the door handle to open the door, "Heh..well I'm not going to stay around here any more if that's the case.."

Loralei rolled her eyes and stood up, walking to the door. She pulled on Alucard's jacket and led him to the spell book. "See this?" Loralei pointed at a specific sigil on the cover. "It means 'healing'. I'm trying to puzzle out a spell on healing. Is that a problem for you? Is that somehow miraculously going to kill you? Quit jumping to conclusions."

Loralei glared at Alucard, picking up the spell book and holding it to her chest. "Alucard, like it or not, I have a job. And that job includes looking in spell books. And like it or not, I will continue doing my job, because that is how I get paid and that is how I will buy little Alucard new clothes as well as double the ingredients I usually buy for cake-making. So. Unless you have some magical store of money, I will continue looking through my spell-books, thank you."

"Buying him clothes is something I don't mind. What I don't approve is how you're allowing him to eat so much junk. Vampire or no, it's unhealthy. You'll make him sick and fat.." Alucard turned around and walked over to a chair, but then he turned back to Loralei. The blackened tendrils surrounded him before he shrank down to a younger age, though his appearance was more elegant than the other younger Alucard that Loralei was used to, "If you're going to buy him clothes, I might as well accompany you to make sure you don't get him something outrageously unpleasant looking."

Loralei glared at Alucard. "You are not coming with me to buy little Alucard clothes. I refuse. He will come with me. It's his decision as to what he wants to look like." she looked away, angry that the older Alucard even suggested it.

"I highly doubt you'll have any luck if you allow him to pick the clothes he wants," Alucard walked to the door again, "Oh, and I figured out one of those so-called triggers. I'll just go purchase the clothes on my own then and leave him a note on it."
Alucard walked outside and down the street, though he wasn't exactly sure where things were in the city, so he decided to make a mental note of any good landmarks as he carried on.

Loralei grumbled to herself then walked out of the house, shutting the door behind her. "Alucard, wait... you have no idea where anything is in Delphi... so I guess I'm stuck as chaperone." Loralei muttered obscenities to herself, then placed a farce smile on her face when she passed neighbors and friends in the city. She pointed out landmarks such as the bakery, the placements of the different guilds, and finally, the clothmaker's shop. Loralei lightly stepped in and she greeted the shop owner. The owner greeted her warmly; Loralei was a good customer.
"Are we going to get something new for you today miss?" The shopkeeper asked her, smiling slightly. Loralei shook her head, and placed a hand on Alucard's head.
"I'm here to buy some clothes for my nephew here. Do you have anything in stock?"

He grabbed Loralei's wrist and lifted her hand off his head, "And I didn't ask you to come along. I don't need your assistance on this."

Loralei grumbled to herself. When the shopkeeper looked at her questioningly, she merely said, "He's got an overactive imagination." Quickly she kneeled down to Alucard. "Because I'm advisor to Zasha, I get deals on most items. That means my 'family' gets deals. Don't screw this up." Loralei stood up quickly and smiled at the shopkeeper.

Loralei shot him a glare. Thankfully the shopowner didn't hear Alucard's outburst, and she smiled knowingly. "I see." She walked out from behind the desk and said, "So, Alucard, what kind of clothes do you like to wear?" The shopowner said gaily.

Alucard crossed his arms and didn't reply immediately. He felt uncomfortable with letting a stranger know what he likes, "Something exquisite and in good taste. Preferably black or gray."
