Based on that statement, I can induce that you are not finished with puberty, probably less than 16 or barely that age, and don't understand how valuable five dollars is.
Again, it's more advisable to just report the incident so you can get your item sooner rather than later. That way you'll actually get something done and you'll be able to save your gold for other, more valuable, and much better items than the angel bow.
