I'd guess Dragons of Summer Flame. He's not in the Chaos War series books as far as I know, or really the Bridge of Time series, and he's an old man in the Fifth Age, so I would guess Dragon's of Summer Flame, but the most I can remember about that was that he got captured or something at Palanthus, but I dont think there was any torturing.

Nah, it was sometime after the New Age trilogy. Summer Flame was when he found Raistlin's staff.
