Nat returns and holds the bagel out to Edan. "Here. Eat this."
Violet thinks life has gotten a bit weird.

The window in that room is open and the furniture and walls inside have been shredded by something very sharp. Nat is lying on his face near a shattered mirror and has Byron's bloody knife clutched tightly in his hand.
Darren and Rufus are having a good tussle in the middle of the room! Manly punches are being thrown and some snarling is being done! Darren has a lot of blood coming out of his side and is having some trouble breathing, which is making him really, really grumpy!
