He winked at her, but it was lost behind his dense shades covering his eyes. "Well hate all you like, I am an egotistical a** hat. But I don't count Gods, their not in the same category as mortal or partial mortal beings. I've never been with one to be honest, since they're not something you find running around just anywhere." He said with a slight smugness in his tone.
Being with another God wasn't something he'd ever sought out to do, not that he ever sought out people to begin with. Just like Evermore was now, they came to him. He'd never pursued a person, so truly his life was pretty easy. "Thanks for making me sound like a common male prostitute though. I don't do it for payment, I do well enough making money in my own way."

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I did not make you sound like a male prostitute. If anything, you'd be more like an escort..."
She hopped off of her desk and went to her book shelf, looking for some of her textbooks.
"I'm not sure it will work, though. I get the feeling that you just want me to come to you and practically throw myself at you. I'm not that kind of person, and I would not do that over you even if I was. Do you think I want you to think that I came to you? If anything, it would have to be a mutual choice, not one coming to the other. I refuse to have you think that you are so irresistible that even I couldn't stay away from you."
She smirked as she looked at her books. "And if you've never slept with a god, then you are seriously missing out. I may not have anything to compare a god to, but I know that being with a mortal cannot even be close."

He just briefly shrugged. "I might have and not known, a lot of times I never cared to catch their names. Although that story about Zeus and Ganymede makes me rethink from time to time." It was merely a joke, as if he would allow himself to become a pet like Ganymede had. Besides, that was way before his existence, so it was impossible for Nik to be him. Perhaps he Olympus was where he belonged, they were accepting of homosexuality. He almost laughed at the idea, still unable to stand the thoughts of serving under the hot headed Zeus. It almost made him sick.
"Don't worry your pretty little head there, I'm still going to think I'm so irresistible whether you can or not. You've only slept with one so far, so you can't really know that for sure now can you? And I'll pass on your lover, he's not my type anyway." He could never be sure if others identified his sexuality, not being feminine made it harder to pinpoint.

Ever looked completely confused. "Pass on... I never said anything about you sleeping with Ares."
She scoffed and somewhat chuckled. She found the book she was looking for, Incantations, and straightened back up with the book in her hands. She turned back around to look at Nik.
"I highly doubt Ares would sleep with you, anyway."
She sat on her bed since Nik was on her desk. "If we do this, then no one finds out. For one, these kind of things always look worse for women. History is a prime example of that. Men can sleep with whoever they want and however many women they want, but the moment a woman shows the same type of freedom, she's persecuted."
"Two, I don't really want people thinking that I would sleep with you. I have standards, after all."
She chuckled lowly and opened her book. "And three, I will not throw myself at you. If we do this, then we meet in the center, me not giving into you and you not giving into me. Us giving into the act, not each other."

He mocked a look of complete disappointment. He wasn't bothered by her opinions of him in the least, but why did she want to be with him yet at the same time didn't? This girl was confusing, and really sounded like she didn't know just what she wanted.
"I don't see what's so bad about me, it's not like I'm a creature with no class. Everywhere I've lived I've been a respectable person, and not just for the things I do in the bedroom. I know quite a handful of people that would never wanna sleep with me, but at the same time aren't completely revolted at the idea of being around me." He had to admit, he was almost baffled at her logic. Nothing made sense in this conversation anymore.
"So you're giving into the act of sex, but just not it being with me. And you're appalled with the idea of anyone knowing that it was with me. Why in the Hell are you propagating me then? I'm sure you could find another male at this school, albeit it scarce choices, so then why is it you consider me your last resort?"

Ever groaned and tilted her head back against the wall. "Why do you care? I thought we talked about this. You need to stop caring what others think so much."
She sighed. "But I guess if we might sleep together, you deserve to know that it's not with someone who hates you. Frankly, Nik, I don't know you well enough to have much of an opinion. I just don't always like your attitude. You seem to think you're entitled to having women be attracted to you and wanting to give themselves to you. That's very god-like."
She shrugged and tilted her head back down. "But the attitude you've had in here today is one I don't necessarily hate. I even somewhat like it. But I know what your public personae is and I don't want to be associated with that. Surely you can understand."
"I wouldn't mind being with you, sexually, as long as we're clear that it's what we both want and it's not me being unable to control myself around you."
She rolled her eyes slightly and laughed softly. "I wouldn't mind having sex with the person you are right now."

Secret Kirari Arielle sighed and brushed some of Akira's hair back. "Don't push yourself, okay? I have to go now and get ready for the assembly. You don't have to attend if you don't want to, and I will understand in your condition." She would prefer for Akira to attend, of course, but that was more the Headmistress in her. Then she smiled a small, strained smile, and exited the room. Meimei nodded after Arielle left. "You can go or you can stay. You aren't injured or even technically sick," said the nurse, "so I won't make you stay here if you'd rather find out what's going on. Your familiar can probably help you find your way, and I suppose that Altan will remain with you for some time as well." She looked at the sphinx, not really sure of his intentions. Altan just gave a little nod. It wasn't that he was there for Akira, though he did like the girl; he was there more for Kilala, who seemed so distraut about the whole scenario. Akira wondered why there would be an assembly, but decided she'd try to make it there anyways. The dog girl smiled and nodded, her tail wagging gently, not that it could be seen, but when she saw Arielle's strained smile, her heart sank again and she wondered just what the hell she'd done too loose her memory- oh right, no trying to hard to remember. When Meimei told her she could stay or go, Akira mumbled, "I'll go, but if I feel too lost or weird, I'll come back here. But maybe walking around will jolt my memory, right? See you soon, and thanks!! Let's go Kilala! And you too...Altan, right?" Akira pushed the covers off, stood up hesitantly, stretched, and left the infirmary, Kilala following right behind her. The D.F looked back to Altan and smiled, very grateful that he'd be here with her while her master was in such a sorry state- well at least Akira wasn't terrified or completely different! Walking down the supposed-to-be-familiar-hallways, and being lead by her familiar, Akira signed softly as no triggers of memories were happening- not even a tiny flash! The frustrated girl put her hands behind her head and kept looking around for anything that caught her eye. But it was weird how her feet seemed to know the way and was bringing her somewhere...

Ari bit back a laugh at Caroline. She needed to get out more if she was playing video games in her sleep! Ari tuned out for a minute, momentarily sidetracked by her thoughts until she felt Nik's hands on her hips and his lips at her ear. "A smoke," she whispered, closing her eyes, "... right." She let him go then, immediately missing the small and slightly intimate gesture. She kept her eyes closed, letting her thoughts drift. Her scar tingled when he touched her, and she placed a hand over the pink line.
Ari was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice that she was now alone. This bothered her slightly, for Ari had always had confidence in what to say, and what to do. She was no longer sure now, and in more than one way. Sighing to herself, she walked the hallways of Bai Ching, wanting company, yet wanting to be left alone. Nik had left her yet again, and she didn't know quite what to feel about him. Evermore's nagging rang through her head again. "Am I desperate?" Ari wondered aloud, causing two girls walking the opposite way to give her a frightened glance.
However many things Ari wasn't sure about at the moment, she was sure about one thing: that she did have some sort of feelings for Nik. However screwed up and misplaced they may be, she did. Suddenly, her feet stopped walking, and she looked up. In front of her was Ness' door, and Ari smiled softly. That was who she needed: Nessa. She opened the door, only to find the sleeping forms of everyone but Vanessa. It then occurred to Ari she was still recovering in the Infirmary.
She bit her lip, trying not to scream in frustration. 'Water,' she thought, 'I'll get a glass of water.' Glancing around again, she quietly made her way to the bathroom. She then grabbed a glass and held it under the faucet until it was nearly full. As she turned around to lean against the counter, she almost dropped the glass in surprise. As it was, she uttered a surprised yelp, but quickly covered her mouth. There in Nessa's bathtub was a sleeping guy. Ari had to hold back a laugh... that tub was a bit cramped for the poor guy. Then again, this was typical Ness... to make someone sleep in an odd place.

"Nyeah, that's the ticket darlin'. Just a little more...." He mumbled under his breath in the middle of his fantasy dream. Something about a cute girl he picked up somewhere. The details weren't important though. Attempting to roll over in the cramped tub, his jaw hit the edge of it resounding with a loud thwack. Tyler groaned awake and fluttered his eyes open. His hand instinctively went to his jaw as he felt it for any damage. There was going to be a pretty bad bruise there in the next couple hours. Great, how was he supposed to get a real chick with a giant bruise.
All the while, he took no notice of the female standing in the room with him. When he looked up to see the startled face of Ari, he literally jumped with shock and ended up banging his shin on the spout. "s**t! s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t." He yelled as he held on to his shin, hissing in pain.
Then he looked up at Ari. "Hey! How long have you been here staring at me eh? Can't a guy rest in peace?" Then he noticed just who it was, and regretted his choice of words. To him this was his Dad's woman, and he wasn't sure how their relationship worked. Would she run back to him, telling how bad he was to have his own father beat the s**t out of him? Tyler may not like him, but he wasn't stupid enough to not recognize the fact his dad was part god "Ehrm, hello, Ari." He managed meekly.

Ari's eyes widened as Tyler abruptly woke and hit his shin on the tub. She was about to ask if he was alright when he began accusing her, and all her sympathy evaporated. "I wasn't staring," she said coldly, holding out her glass at eye level. "I was looking for Vanessa, and I came in here to get a drink. Is that a crime? Sorry to have woken you, sleeping beauty." She then noticed his sudden cowed behavior, and her icy demeanor melted and evaporated, allowing her slim shoulders to slump in a rather defeated manner. "Sorry," she said softly, without the sarcasm. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, running a finger around the rim of the glass. The darkness behind her lids comforted her, reminded her of a time when colors and shapes held no meaning for her. The dark was still comforting, which was why she preferred the night.
When she could still feel his nerves, she opened her eyes. Her green eyes found his. "Bitte nicht bei mir aussehen dass," she said softly, setting her glass back on the counter, "I'm not a tattle tale." Ari paused for a moment, and in the silence, she could sense two strong auras emanating from somewhere near by. With a pang, she realized they were Evermore's and Nik's. Smoking? Yeah, right. Her scar suddenly seared white hot, and her hand shot to cover it, as if she could smother the heat. The thing was quite annoying, really. Ari wished it would just go away.
Absently, she ran a finger over it. It wasn't overtly hot, and for a moment, Ari wondered if she had imagined the heat as well as the tingling sensation. She bit her lip at her thoughts. Ari then looked back to Tyler, and she realized with a jolt that he had been the one who had given her the scar, and who had also killed her, albeit being possessed at the time. It was an odd realization, but she didn't blame him... no more than she blamed the Nikolaus half of the current Nik.

Aphrodite wandered the halls of Bai Ching, not bothering with a disguise, but keeping her godly glow to a minimum. Girls did a double take wherever the blond walked, but Aphrodite was used to the stares... they usually stopped after a while. At first her beauty was shocking, but after a while, one developed a sort of immunity against it, and it became normal. Sort of.
Aphrodite could sense many confusing snarls in the fabric of relationships in Bai Ching at the moment. Many many knots, which could possible lead to tears within. She brushed a hand through her blond locks. "Oy ve," she murmured, leaning against a window sill and looking out onto the grounds. The barrier was still very much present, but oddly, she felt no desire to leave as she thought she would have. Odd... so many things had changed about her since she had come to this school, many had brought her peace with herself and with others. These girls had a more profound effect on her than they probably could ever imagine. With a final glance at the grounds, she departed from the window and continued on her way.

"Heh, and you need to work on that condescending attitude. But enough of us telling one another what could be improved eh? That's not going to get either one of us what we want here." He spoke as his tone deepened. He was beginning to block out Evermore's words, only leaving his sight to look at her. This alone is all he used to convince himself he could enjoy sex with her. So long as he couldn't hear her talk.
Then he chuckled darkly, at the last of the words he heard from her mouth. Nik then stood up from where he was and went to stand above her, lifting his shades to look down at her with his lustful eyes. "Don't worry, I always want it sweetheart."

Ever had smirked and then actually chuckled softly when she heard the first words Nik said. He was actually pretty funny when he wasn't trying so hard. And that low chuckle was intoxicating to hear.
When she noticed a shadow go over her and her book, she looked up. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw the look Nik was giving her. His eyes were very luring. Of course, she was also allowing herself to be lured. She wanted to get swept away with something she didn't have to think about.
She scooted forward on her bed, squeezed her legs down over the edge between his legs and her bed, and then stood up. Her front brushed along his.
"Well that's a good thing to hear." Her voice was soft and somewhat airy.
She cupped the back of his neck and then leaned up. She pressed her lips against Nik's, lightly at first. She began to massage her lips against his.
