We're about to have our first freeze tonight, so we did a mad gathering of the last of our garden! And lookee!  Not a bad last haul, considering it's a new house where we had to start the garden late in ground that hadn't been worked. So proud of my baby veggies!

gonk Tattered has figs! ~claws at her monitor in an attempt to steal borrow some~
Here's what ya do Tattered-
Brew up some Earl Grey tea (you can also cut it with Russian Caravan), add a bit of honey, a fig, a peach, a date and an apricot. Allow it to infuse for a bit then drink.

Are there any topics in this guild on "the basics" (warding, grounding, guarding, cleansing, etc.)? Can't seem to find one. And if there definetely isn't, is there any way I could commission someone who is well-read on those topics to make one? sweatdrop

Nay! I have a blood test tomorrow. I hate them so bloody much I get cold and shaky just THINKING about them. So you can imagine what I'm like when it actually takes place. Fear + drop in blood sugar levels = Emma passes out and gets all embarrassed. xp
I'm getting my hair cut straight after so I might bring a thermos flask of sweet tea with me. xd

In addition, I'm jealous of people who have visions with obvious meaning behind them! Lol.
Last night I had a vision of a man covered in what looked like bronze paint with metallicy gold hair. He basically looked like he had been covered in spray paint.
What kind of vision is that!? *shakes fist*

Thank you all! ^_^ I get so excited about growing things that don't just randomly die off.
Tea, that sounds lovely. I shall have to try that sometimes soon when we have dates on hand. Ooh, and we're getting new honey harvest soon! Good summer honey.
I would totally give you loads of figs if I could. The tree is... prolific, to say the least, and we've had issues dealing with them all. We're ending the season and all now, but you should totally let me know if you like them preserved somehow, and next summer, I'd be happy to send you some.

It's a little tighter in the honey arena than it used to be, because the hive is still at the old house. crying The new owner likes the honey but not the beekeeping, so we take care of the hive in return for a portion of what comes out of it. But alas, no longer all.

Wow, just... wow.
I got a job at a party supply store a while ago, but I just noticed the title of one of the Madeline DVD's we have in stock (Madeline being a kids show about a young orphan girl in France) "Madeline and the G~". She even joins their traveling circus rolleyes
