{{I hadn't thought about that, yet. I just figured that most gods would have impure intentions, so the Room wouldn't allow them access. And the weird thing is that I thought it had been decided at the beginning, when Krause had mentioned the Room, that gods could not access the Room and that's why Ever had been assigned to find the Relic. But then I remembered that the Room had nothing to do with the original plans of sending Ever to Bai Ching to find the Room. So now I'm trying to fix my incorrect thinking. Can't really go back and edit my previous posts. But don't worry! I'm sure it will work out. smile }}
Ever sighed and sat down on the edge of the tub that was closest to the wall. She then rested her feet on the edge across from her. She folded herself over until her forehead was touching her bare knees (she was wearing her skirt uniform today) and her long red hair was falling over her legs. Her hair hadn't been red a moment ago... dammit. Why did she have to have such an obvious tell-tale sign of when she was becoming really stressed?
When she talked, her legs muffled some of her words. "Dunno... I just assumed that they couldn't because Are..."
Her heart tugged when she thought of Ares and remembered that she couldn't see him now because of the barrier. It was a good thing and a bad thing.
"I just assumed that they couldn't because Ares and Aphrodite were so adamant about me going into the Room to find out more information about the Relic. Since they wouldn't do it themselves, I just assumed that meant they couldn't get into the Room. I guess I could be wrong..."
Moments later, Raven edged herself out of the Room through the old-fashioned keyhole in the door and flew over to land on Ever's slumped shoulder.
"You both left me in there! You're lucky I can squeeze out of small spaces! Really, how rude!"
Ever sighed, not moving. "Raven, I knew you were in there. I would have come back for you, don't worry."
Ever sighed loudly in frustration, stood up in the tub quickly, grabbed the top shower rod, and used it to swing out onto the floor. Raven flew up to sit on the shower rod.
{{The rest of my post is going to seem similar to the posts I made at the beginning of the story with Ever being her gymnastic self. lol. It's how she copes with stress when she can't meditate, if people remember the beginning of the story.}}
Ever suddenly had an i-Pod in her hand with a small speaker, things she had transported from her room. She picked a song, Journey's Don't Stop Believin', started to play it through the small speaker, and put it on the bathroom counter.
Then, she started doing random back and front flips and stretching. She even ran up one of the walls and did a back flip. She didn't want to think about what was going on right now. She didn't know that much about gods and the Room. She and Aurora had just made a huge discovery. Wasn't that enough? Shouldn't there be a limit to how many discoveries were made in one day?

Nik was still as confused as before. This sounded like something important to the school, and just now he was learning about it? Damn, he really must have been focused on something else the entire time his soul was split. Then again, his yang was Hell bent on revenge, and his yin was trying to get laid with one chick. That would explain it.
Ever's random bout of gymnastics was not even near the weirdest part of this whole incident, yet he was still drawn to watching her tense movements. When he thought about it, he could really understand where she was coming from. Her maturity was very low, and from the way it sounded she lacked freedom. Nik could remember his childhood. His mother being taken away from him for being a "witch," and Gabriel dying of a plague. His childhood was swiped from him at an early age, but he'd handled it better. If you consider becoming a psychotic murderer who's soul was torn better.
Getting himself out of the shower, he walked over to Ever and stood there looking down at her silently. He had nothing to say, nothing to do. His unwavering icy blue eyes of Baldr stared down at her, waiting for her to bark at him about something.

{{Yes! You explained her perfectly, Alb! biggrin And that psychotic murder thing was hilarious}}
Ever gasped and stumbled back slightly as Nik was suddenly in front of her after she turned around from her recent back flip. His intense stare really unnerved her. Usually she would have said a scathing remark, but his intense gaze kept her acidic tongue in check. Something about his eyes... they didn't seem like his normal ones. She was almost reminded of looking into Poseidon's eyes when she looked at Nik.
Finally, she let out a short, nervous laugh and looked over at Aurora. "Well, I think we've discovered enough for one day. Besides, I need to go lie down! Yyyep... A nap sounds good right about now. I'll meet you tomorrow to discuss things, alright?"
She quickly turned, her red hair swinging and lightly hitting Nik's chest. She quickly walked into Aurora's living area. Then, she quickly left the dorm room, walked down the hall, and quickly went into her room. She didn't even close the door. She didn't want to hear Raven b***h about shutting her out again, even though she could and had fit under the crack at the bottom of the door.
Raven sighed and stayed on the shower rod. She looked down at Aurora.
"Believe it or not, that is not that unusual of Ever. Well, the exit was, but the random gymnastics? Very typical. That or meditating."

{{Approx. 30 minutes later}}
Ever woke up from her nap. She wished she hadn't taken a nap in the first place. Sleeping was supposed to be soothing and relaxing. But when the God of War dropped in on your dreams, that was rarely the case. Well, actually, for Ever it should have been quite sensual and fun. It had been the exact opposite. She didn't feel like crying. She had cried enough in her dream. But she was upset. An upset Fury was not a good thing.
She still cared greatly for Ares and wanted to be with him, but not right now. She wanted to give him complete space and she needed hers. It was a good thing that he was at Unwelcome Boulder. She'd actually rather report into Aphrodite than Ares right now.
She sighed and sat up. She looked over and saw that her door was still open. If Raven had come into their room, she would have shut the door. Silly stubborn light fairy... Why did she have to be so stubborn?! She had never met someone so stubborn in her life! She had been shut in the Room for a few seconds at most, and she was still brooding about it!
She didn't mind having slept with the door open. She had done it before at Bai Ching. What safer place was there?
She sighed and leaned back against the head of her bed.

Nik didn't feel like going after Evermore, feeling like it'd only cause some sort of dispute between them again. He wasn't in the mood for it right now. There was something he needed to do though. Teleporting out of the bathroom, not thinking of how badly he might startle Aurora, he bypassed having to see Ari again on the way out.. Shortly he reappeared near Nessie's room, where Tyler and Sammy were sleeping, along with Bo and Luli. After silently cracking the door open, he saw Sammy, Luli, and even Bo all asleep in the middle of her room. Sammy however was smart and got on one of the beds. However, where was Tyler. Sneaking inside, he tiptoed his way in. Then he heard breathing in the bathroom and sensed his son's aura.
Upon looking in, he saw Tyler dead asleep in the bath tub. Why the Hell would he pick there? Must be some teenage thing he wasn't onto these days. Sneaking back out, he lingered within the bedroom, making himself invisible in case they were to wake up.
He spent a good half hour in there, watching the people he loved so dearly sleep without a care in the world. However, his attention was averted when he detected a drastic change in moods from a certain all too well known aura. Evermore's. Silently making his leave, he shut the door and wandered up the hallway to her room, still invisible. Upon finding her open door, he took the opportunity to sneak in undetected.
When he was inside her room, he felt the thickness of sadness drape all around him in the room. He didn't like the feeling, and tried his best to ignore it. His eyes then came down to look at Evermore, his steely gaze watching her carefully.

Ever suddenly felt another presence in her room. She was experienced enough, yet, to ascertain whose aura it was, but she had a pretty good idea whose it was.
She glared and jumped off of the bed. "Ares! I don't know how you made it through the barrier, but you need to go. I said I was sorry for not knowing that I was part of the reason you're so different right now. What more do you want?! I'm giving you space. You being invisible and sneaking into my room yet again is not helping matters."
She stood by the door and crossed her arms over her chest angrily as she waited for the aura to leave her room. However, there was a slightly different sensation around her that she wasn't used to. It made her slightly uncomfortable, but she didn't know why or what it was.

He sneered briefly. Nik was surprised at her detection, but was appalled she thought this Norse Demigod was that Grecian. It was offensive without it even intending it to be. "I don't think your War God could get through the barrier, you give him too much credit." The tone of his voice was a register lower, and he didn't reveal himself. He wouldn't be that impressed if she guessed who he was. Who else would be able to turn invisible besides another God like himself? And Aphrodite wouldn't care enough to sneak in on Evermore, at least he didn't think so.

Ever's eyes widened when she heard a voice that was definitely not Ares'. It was too low, and it sent a creepy shiver up her spine.
Who could it be, though? Who could have already been inside the barrier and been able to turn themselves invisible? It was obviously a male due to the low register of his voice, but the only male around with that kind of power would be..
She shivered slightly and crossed over to her study desk. She played with some pens in the cup on her desk as she spoke.
"Nik, I have no idea what the hell you're doing here, but you've got the wrong room. Your love-sick puppy is a few doors down on the right."

Oddly enough, this caused Nik to laugh. And I mean a good wholesome, tear bringing laugh. She just never stopped did she? Her personal attacks against him always went past him and to someone else. Who was she really against more here, him or Ari? That was probably the question for the ages.
"I didn't come looking for the entire student body of Bai Ching, I came looking for you. I noticed a drastic aura drop in this room and was curious. Though, I hadn't yet implemented how sneaking into your room invisible would help. Guess a bit of a distraction." He grinned at his own little joke, but it couldn't be seen. Perhaps if he stayed invisible she wouldn't react so badly. Maybe his appearance was what irked her, and not the sound of his voice. His accented voice did tend to soothe others.

Ever looked at her empty room in complete confusion. What the hell was Nik laughing about?! She had never heard him or Musica ever laugh like that before. Had he seen something funny out her window?
She sighed, turned around so that she could sit on her desk, and then kicked out her chair so she could put her feet up on it. If the chair hit Nik in the process, all the better.
"Well, since I don't give a ******** what you think, I'll actually tell you why you probably sensed my aura dropping."
"I was sleeping and Ares decided to do some dream dropping, something you gods seem to love doing. Well, I know Grecian ones do. I don't know about you Norse ones. It wouldn't surprise me if you did."
She didn't care that she was sitting on her desk with her feet on the chair in front of her while she was wearing her skirt uniform. As she had established, she really could care less what Nik thought.
"Well, Ares proceeded to tell me that I'm part of, or mostly, the reason that he's changed suddenly, and not for the better. Apparently I've affected the God of War more than he's been affected since.... well, for quite a long time. How the hell does that sound? I can somehow drastically change Ares. I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or expect his many followers to come storming up to Bai Ching, wanting to put my head on a stick."
She didn't want to say that Ares hadn't been this affected since his first love. So, she skimmed over that part.

"I've never been in someone's dreams. Though, I never thought to try. I may have to one day." He laughed briefly before listening to her rant about the War God. So he was weaker than first perceived eh? Nik would have to remember that one if he was ever on the wrong end of Ares spear. As she spoke, Nik slowly got closer to her, hopefully without her noticing. Her hair was a drastically different color, bright flaming red. He liked it, and when he liked something he wished to touch it.
With her last sentence spoken, his large hand had reached out ran over her hair. It really was very pretty to him, and being the God of Beauty he could appreciate pretty things. "Feel better now? And by the way, ever considered making your hair red permanently? I think it looks quite nice." He spoke in a calm and distant voice, as if this were as normal as waking up in the morning.

Ever's eyes widened and she gasped as she felt a hand run across her hair. Obviously it was Nik's hand, but what was he doing? She knew he wouldn't waste his time trying to trick her. He'd rather ignore her than make the effort to trick or deceive her.
She couldn't stop the small sight from escaping her lips and leaning closer to his hand. Any comfort felt good after what she had been through with Ares. Someone appreciating anything about her right now felt nice. She should be able to reassure and appreciate herself, but dammit, sometimes she just needed help.
Ever spoke softly. "I... have made my hair stay red a few times in the past. I do like it that way, but I just had not done so today... Thank you for the compliment, as odd as it sounds coming from you."

Nik turned himself visible as he still continued to run his hand over her hair. He shook his own bushy mane out and grinned all the while. "It's a better color then this mess of silver. Makes me look like an old man." Nik by far did not consider himself old, just an individual who had been around for a long time. Yeah, that was it.
"Will you be upset if I say I'm glad I could make you feel better? I'm not a monster you know." He tried to appear genuine, which in reality it was a legitimate statement.

Ever's eyes dropped just slightly in relaxation as Nik continued to run his hand over her hair. She loved it when someone would brush or play with her hair. She and Akira did each other's hair quite frequently on the weekends while they were watching movies.
She barely blinked when he made himself visible in front of her. She wouldn't tell him this, but she actually liked his silver hair. It made him look distinguished and intelligent, whether he actually was or not was another issue. She liked older-looking men, men who appeared to be in their late 20's or early-to-mid 30's. They usually knew how to handle themselves and women. They were experienced.
"Your hair does not make you look too old. Silver is not a bad color, just so you know. But most people could wear it well if they tried."
There. It wasn't really a compliment. Nope.
She found herself leaning back against the desk, scooting herself back into a more comfortable position and moving her legs to the side so that Nik could get closer if he wanted to. As she moved her left leg, though, she made sure she brushed it along his waist and hips.
"I wouldn't believe you if you did say that, at least the part about being glad you could make me feel better, unless it was to further your own agenda. I'm not naive, Nik. I'm a Greek goddess, remember, and a Fury at that. You shouldn't waste your words trying to make yourself appear sweet and kind in my eyes. Look at the man I care about. Is he sweet and kind? Only to me... or he used to be."
She sighed and let her eyes drift to the side for a moment, remembering some of Ares' harsh-but-true words.
Still looking off to the side and only partially in the present moment, she mumbled, "I have never thought that you were a monster, you know. Just full of it."

Aurora just sighed a bit when Evermore had left after having a big... well, big bout of being Evermore. She then decided to go find Bo--and she would have asked Nik where he was, but Nik disappeared as well, leaving her pretty much alone. That was inconvenient, really. She'd barely had a chance to do or say anything, and they both disappeared.
Oh well.
After going back into her room and considering her outfit--it wasn't a school day, so she wasn't in uniform--she left to find Bo. She vaguely remembered something about he and Luli staying wherever it was that Sam and Tyler were staying, so she looked around a bit.
Finding them to be in Vanessa's room by scent after a brief spree as a little mouse, Aurora knocked gently on the door. She didn't really want to wake anyone up.
