Missing nin Itachi I might be but who knows when that will be. They released an announcement while I was at work today sayign that they want to do it on Monday at 5 Western (THat's 8 in NY). If they get up to 100k online, everybody on then gets a special item at the end of the summer event.

They haven't created it yet. They probably want to see if there'll be any reason to, because if we don't hit 100k, they won't need to release it, anyway.

They'll probably make it anyways, and if not a reward because we fail to see a 100k mark, they'll add it to a store in the next shop update.

That makes sense. (Not being pessimistic) I don't really think that we'll hit 100K, but that's just me.

That fee will make inlfation skyrocket. People will jack up the prices to compensate for the 2% loss.
They should've used a cap fee system like Maple Story has. That works like this:
If you sell for under 10,000, no fee applies. If you sell over 10,000, a small fee applies. If you sell over 100,000, a bigger fee applies.
It goes on like that. It creates incentive for people to not go beyond so high. If something's worth like 10,500, they'll sell it for 9,999 because if they go higher, they'll make a net profit of less than 9,999.

I suppose that a 2% fee would make it easier to manage though. But DA is right, a cap fee would be much better.

Its also easier to explain to the masses.
But probably things like donation letters also wouldn't suddenly lose a bunch of value with a more flat tax.
