Kinda funny how a fighter like him wanted to walk out civilly and not in some battle where the blood could overflow the walls of Deep Water or something.

Five hundred years before Jiscal was handed the thrown of Deep Water.
A Kingdom of Elves in the Far East was draw near its end. After Sever Hundred years of War, the small nation had run its course. There resources were low, and they had too few to hold back the horde.
The defences were laid to waste, and a unit of Lizard Riders managed to out maneaver the fall back (Retreating defense force) and reacehd the Palace which was lightly defended, and ransacked the place. The Prince, being the most noble member of that Unit, had the prevelidge and honour of being allowed to assult the royals personally.
He stumbled into a small room, and found only an infante a few addentants who begged him to spare the child. After killing them, he approached the child, and hesitated a killing blow, but did strike (Ending the childs life).
That Childs name was Prince Tarathiel.
