Eliot corked the bottle when Warren pushe dhim away, she didn't want to force him and make him sick. She stopepd short when he asked who she was, he had recognized her when he had... come back to life.
"You are in the oracles Meilikki's house, we took you here after getting you out of the hooded man's place." she stopped for a moment. "My name is Eliot."

"I got more skill than you think."
And he took to teh tricks of jumping off ehr back, bounicng off the ground and over to the other side, and grinning lightly at her as the sped along, Nightmare edging ahead of him. Nightmare was indeed enjoying herself, and more points for piper she did what she said she was going to do.
Onyx looked at Moonstone, and got himself up, and flared out his wings. well..they didn't seem the worse for wear.
"I suppose we coudl fly. once we get our strength back up. I mean Moon had a bit of trouble getting here, Whirlwind."
He took her hand, though he knew she didn't much like being touched, and gave it a small kiss.
"Thank you for the hospitality...and a good brawl. I love a good brawl...and don't let that bull forget he owes me one. he ran last time, adn next time he's going to fight me damn it."

Piper gave a laugh, shaking her head lightly. "Anyone can throw themselves off a horse." Impressed? Yes...but she had to mess with him, he knew that. And elvish word to Serino to make him up his strides a little as she let go of him and steadied herself a moment before she stood up on the Zephyr's back, arms out to catch her balance for a moment. Of course riding a galloping horse standing up wasn't enough for her. No, she had to arch her back and lean backwards till her hands touched down behind her and she flipped herself backwards...landing on Serino's flank and probably if a little farther back would of kissed the ground. But a grin to Malik. Like she said, he could throw himself off, what about stay on? "As do I."

Aella just shrugged. "Take your time getting back then." She stiffened when he kissed her hand, and pulled it back when she was finished. She rubbed her hands together a moment. "Uh...you're welcome. And I'm sure he knows, he just takes Meilikki's threats to heart."
She amde little shooing motins with her hands. "And it's time for the vah to go to bed, which means they need to get home first."
Warren goraned as one arm could support the wieght of lifting himslef up, so he lowered himself back down. Nope, he wasn't gonna move for a while. Infact, he felt very sleepy.
"How did we get out?" He couldn't remeber.
"Eliot?" Okay, tht name was kinda familiar...."I know you right?"

Eliot Brought Warren's blankets back up to his chin, tuckign it in a little.
"I walked you out." Now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure if Warren had ever seen her as a wolf before then. "I walked you out in my wolf form.'
She sighed, "Yes, you do know me, but may not particularily like me."

Malik smirked lightly..and got up with little effort to stand on nightmare's back., and she reared her head, and bucked him up into the air, upon which malik did a few flips, Nightmare picking up some speed, and landed perfectong on her back, with a tongue sticking out at Piper.
"Beat that."
Onyx gave a overly flourishing bow, and nudged his twin, before getting a limping/running start and takign to teh skies again, this time heading home.
"See you another time, Whirlwind. and do come to visit more often, your company is appreciated."
Though his face got rather cruel looking when he turned his attention from her to teh path ahead, he still wanted answers from Warren. and he was going to get them, one way or another.

Where as he had to deal with the motion of his horse...it looked like she was merely standing on solid ground as Serino kept pace with Nightmare. Made for quite the little scene. And she clapped lightly "Indeed impressive...but I can take you." For a moment she looked at Nightmare and seemed to be doing some calculating in her head before she looked to Malik with a smile. Taking up her skirt in one hand she smirked...and then leaped from her own horse across the gap between the traveling to, hand catching to Malik's shoulder and using her momentum to swing herself around to land on his back, hooking one leg around his, the other at his hip, one arm around his neck. With her other hand she turned his head and kissed him before letting his head go and flicking her tongue at his ear. "Beat that..." She knew Nightmare could take her weight...considering the horse practically carried the elf's weight in gear.

Tarathiel paused as he reached the cliff wall, what a chase this was. He had no idea where he was, or where he was going, but whatever worked. He had grown board with his life beyond the Stonekeep, and needed some excitement. Odd, how Something like a warparty would provide him with entertainment...
Then again, he was evil after all, or at least, sometimes evil. Well, evil when he felt like being evil. He was the son of chaos after all...
He leaned his weight agianst the cliff wall, and listened for the steps of the elvish warband. How many was there agian, quite a few for certain. Focusing his hearing more adiquiately, by taking his helmet off, Tarathiel noticed that there was more noise than the steps of marching surface elves. There was... Heavier steps. Some as loud and combersome as undead giants, others more delicately. One thing was for certian, Tarathiel was caught in the middle of two warparties, and not just the one.
Shifting his weight away from the wall he gandered about, and noticed that he was in a very percarious position, with no allies and little room to maneavour, Tarathiel might be dead. Then again, luck never failed him before.
The sound of an arrow rushing thought the air caught his attention, and he dodged quickly to the side, the arrow glancing across his cheek. Good aim for an surface dog. The missile continued in an augment trek through the air, and imbeded itself into something sturdy that sounded much like an age d corpse being beaten. The moans of the dead rushed up the trail, and into Tarathiel's ears with a rather peculuar sound, he recongnized it imediately as a noise he heard before, in the bowls of Deep Water. Taking his hand, and droping his helm onto his head, Tarathiel quickly pressed himself against hte rock, and felt his body sink deeper into the stone than it should have. HE felt his body sucked away from the cliff, and deposited out somewhere... less pleasent. He was now at the base of the cliff, which did not please the drow at all. The high ground favoured armies when hunting individuals or at war. The drow reached about, searching for that portal that tosed him here, but found nothing. He quickly decearned that it was a defensive measure used by some wizard, to seperate adventuring parties and defeat them one by one. HE shruged, and began to plot. The sound of battle quickly rose in the air above him, as the elves met the undead. Both had tried to close on Tarathiel, but niether managed to find him, as he was no longer there.
Much to the demise of the undead, the five clerics in Elric's army literally tore them appart, limb from limb. The sfew moments of battle certainly favoured the elves, who could handle such a pitiful offence. But, the sound of explosions and the screams of elves did disturb Tarathiel. How many liches where there hear? Unless, they were merely necromancers working for the more powerful wizard. That would make sense, as Tarathiel personally knew many wizards who worked for the strangest of creatures just to find a hint of power. A strange sound assulted Tarathiel, and he steped away from where he tumbled out of the portal, to gaze upon the queerest of his persuiers, the Halfling knight.
Still screaming his chants of valour, and cursing the the undead and making many other noises unecessary for battle, the halfling swung his blade about until he realized he was no longer in the heat of battle. He looked about him, and called out for Braver Justicepaw, who literally blinked into existance beside the Halfling. Tarathiel was quite amused by this creature so unlike every other halfling he had ever meet.
"I guess I should surrender until we escape this accursed place." Tarathiel said with open arms, "But I would prove a great aid to your survival if I remained armed as I am." The halfling turned to face the drow, his eyes so full of valour and integrity it shocked the drow to see such conviction.
"I prey in Helm's name that you can live up to your word." The halfling said with presence.
"What befell your comrades?"
"An Army of Darkness, men of decayed flesh, and some wizards to guide them, and a few people who seemed to be interesting in kissing the elves, only to steal their souls."
"I did not wish for this to fall upon you, but hunting me was not my intention for you either."
"Alas, Drow, your heratiege and actions do preceed you, and make a mockery of your pretences to good." The Halfling stood tall, three and three quaters feet tall, but he certainly could dwarf the drow with his sheer charisma.
"Sometimes, we find ourselves somewhere we would rather not be, and in a place we should have never gone. Only an accident had me at the battlefield where the general fell, and in the house where that infint lay barren before me..."
"You could have acted bravely!"
"I could have been killed too, I could have surrendered to General Tarathiel, and never pierced the breast of Prince Tarathiel as well."
"You-You know there names?"
"The keen general and I fought a breave battle, but my suposed divine power overcame him, though truth be known, if he wasn't half dead from the battle with my kin I would have been slain rather easily by his hand."
"Helm whispers that you speak the truth."
In other words, my truth spells shows me that you are not lying. "Why lie when the truth is much more devious."
"Parley..." The halfling paused, and turned his head towards the quieted battle. "It seems that either my comrades are dead, or we one the day."
"We cannot go back the way we came."
"Then, I shall ride beside you until such a time as you deserve to die, or we part ways."
"I trust your words, Paladin Halfling."
"Please, call me Sir Gil-Hadriel Thefhand."
"Are you related to Don Thefhand?"
"He is my father."
"Your father is an interesting person too, and you are like me."
"What? How could you say such a thing!"
"You and I do not agree with our liniage."
"WHat are you talking about?"
"You don't know?"
"Know what?"
"About the Halfling Mofia?"
"There is no Halfling Mofia."

Aella nodded her head, not really in the mood for speaking. She sighed,. and headed back inside the keep. Meilikki had barred the way to her for now, and she had done this a few times in the last few days. She was becoming less and less willing predict the future or make potions for those who asked for help.
Inside, she found the Oracle at the table, on hand holding her head, the other wrapped around a cup of tea that was not bieng touched.
She sat down in the chair across form her. "You don't look so good."
"Indeed."
"Has your moon passed?"
"I take a potion that stops that. Moody Oracles tend to be vengful and difficult to get along with."
"You're not being moody?"
"It's been the same mood for a while."
"Which is?"
"Worry and exaughstion."
"Being tired isn't a mood."
She didn't answer to that one. She was simply to out of it to answer.
"Perhaps you should try to get some sleep..."
"I can't sleep."

Tames nursed his wounds in the kobold fashion, he pressed hot irons to them to seel the scar. He did not howl, he did not wince, but he did smiled. THe blood of his various wounds steamed, he replaced the fireplace poker on the hanger, and lay by the fire and quickly fell to sleep.
Aven returned to the Stonekeep, and marched awkwardly up the stairs to discuss the shape of the maze with Stoneshaper, who seemed to have returned from somewhere. Oddly, Rydia was wearing an expression which lead him to believe that some magic trick had worn off. The druid shrugged, and asked where Tarathiel was, but with no accurate response, the druid melded with the ground, and moved towards some nearby plants to search for him.
Rydia turned her eyes to the centaur, but reconsidered her thoughts. She decided that she needed some female companionship to ease her newly developing troubled thoughts.
Marching down the stairs, she overheard the Oracle and Aella talking, and decided to simply find somewhere to meditate by herself. She needed to talk to someone, but her time was not limited. Gazing into her deeping memories, names began to poor over her mind... Wulfgar, Harkle, Regis, Echion...

Zahara was restless and pissy. She'd racked her brain in every way possible but still couldn't decipher the couple's strange behavior. She'd finally given up and fallen asleep but now she was awake again. Never one to be lax on security she was shocked to know that she had fallen asleep fully clothed and completely vulnerable. Her daggers were still strapped in their usual spot on her thighs and if someone had wanted to slit her throat it would have been child's play. Thank Lolth that no one had. Not that she would have been powerless to stop them, she knew enough dark spells to keep an adversary writhing in agony until she got her bearings and picked up her daggers to fight. So now here she sat, on her bed thinking once more. She had to stop this or she was going to go insane. Nothing made sense and nothing she'd been taught held up here. That was the most important thing. Her way of life was no more and she had to keep that thought at the forefront of her mind. Men were not pond scum here, they were...equal. The word should have left a foul taste in her mouth but it didn't adn that suprised her. She'd never really had a problem being above men, just the whole beating and sacrificing them without a reason. That had gotten to her. She ran her fingers through her shortened hair and pined briefly for her locks that used to hang down to teh middle of her back. Chopping off her hair had been a good idea, made it much easier for her to run but she hadn't really wanted to do it. She wasn't vain but her hair was one of the things she'd really liked. She sighed softly and stood up, perhaps heading downstairs wouldn't be such a disaster today. She cautiously left the room, mindful of the little dragons still watching her and headed down the stairs. No sign of the imps that had dubbed her 'Star Flower.' No sign of Piper or him either. Coast was clear. Not bad, not bad at all. She made her way into the dining room and found that in no time a plate of food was set before her. Lolth bless slaves. Having had nothign to eat since she'd run she sat down and dug into her meal happily.

"Drow, when do we reach the end of this tunnel?" Gil asked the captian for the eigth time since they exited the revine. Unbeknownst to the halfling, such places were usually much more dangerous than the clifftops, as dangerous gasses seem to always decore the bottom layers of crevices.
"First of all, Please call me Captain. Secondly, this is the underdark! There is no end to the tunnel!" The drow smiled at the halfling, annoyed but amused.
"Braver thinks that we are being followed by some of the soul eaters."
"How does he know that?"
"Well, they walk in straight lines, and are evasive, and the smell is only faintly undead."
"We are being hunted... Great." The drow looked at the corridor, barely enough space for him and the halfling to stand side by side, but too big for them to hold off a charge. "We need to find a more defendable position and soon, if we are to live out the night."
"Night?"
"It is always night in the tunnels."
"By Helm's grace we shall prevail... Lord Protector, guide us to a defensible position that we might smite the enemy in our gracious regrouping!"
"That is certainly a fancy way of asking for help."
"What is wrong with how I commune with god?"
"God?"
"Are you unfamiliar with the term?"
"I speak common don't I?"
"Helm is the protector, he will always stand guard over the gates into heaven, allowing his faithful to join him as the great Defenders of the Universe."
"My people believe in multiple gods, foremost where I am from, is Lolth. She likes chaos. Its rather depressing."
"Depressing? Chaos? No wonder your kin are so dark at times."
"I always thought it was because we couldn't look at ourselves in mirriors. Not looking into your own eyes certainly enables you to do strange things... Seeing a reflection can change all that."
"Behold, Helm has prevailed for us. A hole from which we might defend against our foes!"
Tarathiel turned his head, and noted the hole which the halfling had suggested. That wasn't there a minute ago... "Helm must love you."
"Helm's love is the driving force behind my blade, the strength of my shield, the power-"
"They are almost upon us, I can hear them now."
"Even over my voice?"
"I have lived in the dark tunnels of the underdark for over seven centuries, do you really think things can walk around me without me noticing? Even in the dark, when only my infravision can guide me, I know when a creature stirs many mile away."
"Echoes?"
"Yes. Live in these tunnels for five years straight, and you will be able to hunt a mouse at fifteen leagues."
"That's amazing!"
"And motivation from hunger. Sometimes, the mouse isn't real, and you are only hunting what you wish to eat."
"That... makes sense."
Tarathiel Shrugged. "Lolth loves me despite my heresay. That is the odd thing with her... She loves you more, the less you follow the rules."
"I have heard you are an unlawful rascal."
"ONly when it suits me, I have my lawful tendancies too."
"Truly chaotic you are."
"They are around that last bend we stepped through, how do you wish to meet their charge. They do not suspect detection, as they are moving with a ligth step. They are lightly armed, and armoured. Two are using some magic to crawl along the ceiling, and another is along the side of the far wall."
"You can tell all this from your hearing?"
"No, a friend told me."
"Oh. Right. Drow prince with a pirate ship at his call. What turned you to piracy."
"My sin."
"Sins can be forgiven."
"How can one be forgiven for murdering an infant?"
"Through the riggorous task of redemption."
"Do you really, honestly think, that I can be saved?"
"Anyone who is willing to be saved can be."
"I'll take the far side, you stay here and watch your flanks."
"Thank you for the concern, be weary of my arrows."
"Indeed."

Malik almost lost his balance at her tongue on his ear, and grinned lightly at her and winked.
"Alright."
He judged the distance, and with a grin, hefted her up and nudgeing Nightmare over, bridged the distance between the two horses with his feet, and deposited her side saddle, before jump to Nerian behidn her, sliding his hand up under her dress bottom and licking her ear lightly..and then hopping up and backflipping off Serino's flank, to land on Nightmare who had moved behind.
Then pulling back up alongside her, and chuckling.
"How was that."
And up ahead, was coming the maze that lead to the Oracle's home. and someone standing at teh front of it. not that he cared, he woudl run them over if need be. he wanted to get this done.

Of course he got gold to spark in her eyes and a hand to grip at Serino for needed balance."You loose points for side saddle." And she hitched her skirt a little, leaning back on her hands a moment to swing one leg over. Yes, she hated riding side saddle like no tomorrow. She was a ranger, not some prissy thing. A shake of her head and a hand reached out, grabbing at Nightmare's reins and giving a tug before letting go. Just a heads up to the horse. She had seen that certain someone too...but Malik wasn't about to be allowed to go there in his usual manner. He was going to be patient about it. And of course an elvish word to Serino to get him to drop out of his gallop steadily.

The Oracle's head slumped down a bit. She was so very tired, but every time she laid down to sleep, she foudn herself wide away, eyes open and staring. Then she would start to get this sickening feeling in her gut, and three hours of trying to sleep turned into getting up and trying to exaughsterself for the the next 2, then try and sleep again for one. Sometimes, she got a few hours.
Aella patted the older woman on the back. "Why don't you let me handle the the blue skinned one? You try and..."
She sighed. "No. I won't be able to sleep anyway. I'll deal with this, and then I'll see about the other part." Unlikley.
"You know, Warhammer could just ask for..."
"I do not want to ask for such things."
Iris stood outside the maze, and imidiatly recognized the man as her former master. Or perhaps...he was still her master? And she was only on loan? That still confused her a bit. Either way though....he was expected. Had been expected for some time.
She bowed from the waist like a hinge when the two approached. :The Oracle is expecting you." She did not adress them as she would have once.
