Yumi smiled. "I'll fight him off." she said, kissing his cheek.
Lute smiled and returned the kiss, soon leading her outside for a pleasant walk in the sunset.
Luke soon made himself wake up. There was something he was forgetting.... Wait... Where was it!? The box that housed the ring he had spent two years crafting for the woman who lay snuggled up against his side. He soon spotted it on her nightstand and he sighed relieved. He didn't lose it. That was good.

[OOC:] The one year anniversary of this RP. Razz smiled back at her and began to walk towards the office of her father.
Demetri was grading some papers in his office, bored out of his mind, when there was a knock on his door. He just waved his hand, opening the door.
Chloe stayed with Lute, and her smile stayed on her face. She was so happy that she and Lute were officially engaged.
Kaya didn't wake when Luke did, instead snuggling closer to him and murmuring his name in her sleep.

Yumi smiled and came in when the door opened. Her father was grading papers. How dull. She walked over to the desk. "Dad. Guess what."
Lute smiled as well and soon sat down on a bench, letting her sit next to him and enjoy the last rays of the day.
Luke looked to Kaya when he heard his name. He smiled some and decided not to disturb her. He'd ask her when she woke up.

[OOC:] Indeed. Demetri looked up as his daughter appeared, Razz right behind her, at his desk. He raised an eyebrow at his daugther and sat back, no longer grading his papers. "You've stumbled across a magically flying turnip?"
Razz coughed some and cleared his throat. "Um, no sir. I... Proposed to your daughter." Demetri's mouth flopped open and he looked very much like a fish as he stared at his only daughter--his little princess.
Chloe leaned her head against Lute's shoulder and smiled to herself. How long ago was it that Lute couldn't have seen this beautiful sight? Thing were so different, now....
Kaya continued to sleep peacefully beside Luke, a smile on her face now that her love was back.

Yumi nodded when Razz spoke up. "And I said yes. PS, the turnip was last week."
Lute sat with Chloe, enjoying the sight. He was actually very glad they had forcably given him that potion. He could see many beautiful things. Like his fiancee.
Luke let Kaya rest for a while longer. She seemed so content at his side. The wolf carefully reached over the sleeping cheetah, grabbing the box the ring was in.

Razz couldn't help but chuckle as Demetri dead-panned at the turnip mention. "Well... Alright... I told you so, is the first thing I feel the need to say. When you go tell your mother, please tell her I said if she wants another kid, it'll have to be a girl." He rubbed his face, looking up at his daughter and his...future son-in-law. He sighed and shook his head, getting up, and hugging Yumi. "You could do worse."
Chloe leaned up, kissing Lute's cheek, and looking up at him. "We should probably tell my parents before they have to hear it from the maids."
Kaya shifted a bit in her sleep as Luke moved, and her eyes cracked open to look up at him.

Yumi laughed softly and hugged her father. "Yes dad. And of course I could do worse. I already got the best." she said, taking Razz's hand and leading him out, going to tell their mother.
Lute smiled at the kiss and nodded some. "Alright. We should do it now before the maids get a head start." he said, getting up and pulling her into his arms.
Luke smiled some as Kaya's eyes opened a little. "Hey there, sleepyhead. Ready to wake up?" he asked, laughing softly.

Razz squeezed Yumi's hand as she took it, smiling at her. "He took that well."
As soon as his daughter was gone, Demetri slumped down into his seat, staring blankly at the desk in front of him. Of course, he expected that Yumi and Razz would stay in the castle, as Hakaru and Damian had done... But that didn't lessen the shock...
Chloe nodded and took Lute's hand, leading him to her parents' room. Knocking, she waited anxiously, though she knew her parents would be happy for her. She just really hoped no rumors had floated up...
Yuke looked up as there was a knock on the door and tilted his head. "Dear, who do you think that is?"
Kaya blinked a few times and frowned. "If you're a dream, then no," she said with a stubborn pout.

Then the two were reminded of just who they were going to meet. "MAGGOTS! Who said you could stop?! Get back to your drills! NOW!" there was a roar of apology as the 'maggots' got back to their training under the cold eyes of their fox teacher.
Lute nodded some, waiting as well.
Natalia looked to the door, then Yuke. "Not sure. Might be Chloe." she said, pouring some tea.
Luke laughed again, kissing her sweetly. "I'm afraid I''m not a dream." he said, sitting up some and handing her the box. "Though I could see why you think it would be."

Razz winced a little, looking to Yumi to see what her reaction to her mother's harsh tone would be. "Maybe we should come back another time..."
Yuke shrugged and got up, opening the door. "Hm, you were right. Come in Chloe, and Lute," he said, opening the door to let Chloe and Lute in.
Chloe smiled at her father and gave him a small hug as she and Lute entered. "Mom, Dad... We have news," she said, smiling at Lute once before offering her hand to her parents.
Kaya smiled as he said he wasn't a dream. She sat up, tilting her head. "Well, I've got the real thing now, so all is well." she glanced down at the box he'd handed her, and looked confused. "And what's this?"

Yumi sighed softly. "You know she's just like that when teaching." she said, looking to her fiancee.
Lute came in with Chloe and let her speak. He picked up where she left off as Natalia grabbed her daughter's hand. "I proposed to Chloe."
Natalia paused and smiled. "That's wonderful!! You two are such a great couple!!"
Luke watched her.

Razz nodded, and gulped. "Shall we wait for her to finish her class, then?"
Chloe smiled back at her mother, glancing over at Lute when they were dubbed a great couple. Yuke smiled at his daughter and walked over, taking a look at her ring before looking at Lute. "I suppose I don't need to tell you to take care of her."
Kaya looked confused, and she opened the box. Her eyes widened and she glanced up at Luke before looking down again. "It's...beautiful..."

Yumi nodded. And they didn't have to wait long. Soon the exhausted class left the dojo, leaving the fox to spot her daughter at the door. And with Razz no less. "Let me guess. You proposed to my daughter. Alright. You two have my blessing, but screw this up, and I'll make sure to make the rest of your natural life a living hell." she said, looming over the younger wizard.
Lute shook his head as he smiled. "Of course not sir. I'll treat her as best as I am humanly capable of."
Luke smiled as his queen was speechless at the sight of the crystal. "And it's the last one in existence. Also mounted in silver I hand-mined from the Jakarthian mines." the wolf said, knowing she'd recognize her hometown name.

Razz nodded meekly as he cowered in front of the fox. "N-not a problem!"
Yuke nodded, looking back to his daughter. "Well, I guess this means I should wish you two good luck." Chloe smiled and hugged her father tightly.
"Thank you," she said, before repeating the process with her mother.
Kaya looked up at the mention of her home. "You went to my village?" she asked, purplexed.

Lunora nodded and let the two be, going back to her husband.
Natalia smiled and hugged her daughter. Such a sweet girl. She was going to a good husband. And they made the former mute shine with pride.
Luke nodded some. "Yeah. The best silver comes from there. And your mother says hello. She also threw out my back with one of her hugs...."
