Plague Marines, I'll agree, are great to paint. After paiting multitudes of them for years, yeah. Haha. I know that they're great. Though, they can only look better with the more time, putty, and paint that one is willing to put in to them.
P.S. I'm working on a short story. Wooh. Ya know how the Black Library has contests once in a while? Well, yes, I'd like to be ready for the next one. I'll post the few paragraphs that I have when I'm in front of my computer. I'm sure you'll enjoy. About a Dark Apostle and his men who are.. essentially captured by these Plague Marines and forced to worship Nurgle. Treated like crap. The Dark Apostle, well, no longer a Dark Apostle, of course. But leader of the army, works his way up in the ranks. Blahblahblah. Still developing it. You'll read it soon.

tiki_boyX2 So has anyone used the new washes? I bought a pot of Devlan brown myself but I haven't used it yet....I've heard that you can paint whole armies using just a base coat and these washes. But, we'll find out, I have five havoc minis to assemble, model, and paint in the next week, as well as a whole BA army. I'm also playing in my last 4th edition tourney next saturday.....hopefullly the plague marines will serve me well. mrgreen 'Cause they're toast in the next edition. WOOOO!!!! BA!!!! blaugh

I have to share a LOL moment with you guys, this morning after long neglecting to install the update for my new laptop with windows vista, I decided while eating lunch to finely install the update. I cracked up laughing when I seen the update for Vista was indeed Service Pack 1 rofl This is funny because Vista was made out to be "the perfect (P)OS" ::coughs::
Ever since working with vista I was convinced that it desperately needed this SP, much like win XP did. I am also now convinced that if they put out SP3 for win xp there will be no need for vista hehe. mrgreen

Lol! Wow
I said screw vista from the beginning. People have so many problems with it.
I'm sticking with XP for the next while. When they start making games only for Vista, then I'll switch. ^^
On another note, I got an excerpt from my incomplete book about my chapter up in the Fan-fiction sub-forum! Tell me what you think! ^^

Ok, these washes are AMAZING! I love it. I'll take pics as soon as I can. Although I'll still use my brown ink to get the shine I like for painting bleeding pustles. A little tip, Red gore, or blood red, looks great mixed with brown ink.
@Dartstriker: Well, they sort of are. I put more depth into my plague marines than the Average joe. Infact, on my newly modelled havocs the bronze-ish gold missile launchers have been given a wash of goblin green/white/Devlan mud. It gives a really cool tarnished-rust look.

There are events on the eleventh? What events?
Ok, So I took fourth place in the last 4th edition tourney for my Area. It was pretty fun, I played against DE, Eldar, and Black Templars. And I lost to the Eldar....it was initially a tie, but he got the +500 pts from the scenario we played.

Woot alot of writing going on this summer !
I'm going on a bit of a retreat for a week, I'll be gone from the 5th-12th almost defiantly with no internet, dun dun dun... In that time I'm hoping to largely get my own fanfic/book ironed out and put into proper order. I have tons of bits but only the initial story I posted long long ago in it's correct spot.
I'm also hoping to finish painting a few of my long neglected biker marines, these guys have only officially hit the field once and are long over due to look awesome. If I have room to pack my predator, I'll take it and paint it too. 3nodding
Oh... I also said last week that I would make my Avi look like a bush. So, Tada !!! I am a shrub !! mrgreen

I would love to go to Chigaco games day....but, livin' in colorado at age 17 and no car, I really can't get anywhere.....Well, maybe someone at my local hoby store is going and I can hitch a ride with them or something.
