Eliot not quite sure what to do with Bode, she had never handled a human child before, bounced her a little on her hip. In truth Bode was almost the size she was and she was having diffulty keeping her the way she was. To try and sooth her she wined the way she would to pup in her pack to calm her, and then brought her beside Warren. She wiped as much sludge from the wizards face as she could, so that Bode could get a clear look at him. And then she took her hand and placed it on Warren's chest, where she would be able to feel his heart beat.
"Maybe he was not ready to leave you Little Pup."
She looked up to the wicth. Conveying with her eyes that she couldn't understand it either. he had been quite dead when she had arrived.

"I never was a sword fan anyway, now was I?" She smiled at him, giving a soft laugh. "Oh you do, do you? Well I suppose I can spoil you a bit in dressing in the manner than pleases you." Personally she was still a little shocked at what she had currently picked to wear. Seemed she had suddenly acquired a taste for fancy and lady like at the moment. Hopefully she could balance that.Another chuckle and she leaned forward on the table, kissing him a moment, a hand caressing over his cheek. "Lord D'vinn I do believe your tongue is turning sliver on me once more." Of course she had to have a laugh at that too. "Or...I can still keep you away from everything and we can...go riding. Don't you still have to take those stones to Meilikki anyway?"

Moonstone looked around at present company. Well, it would be a long walk home. "Well then, dear brother. We will need to get back to the fortress, or at least clean up before we head back.
Warhammer nodded, thought didn't carry on the converstaion. He wanted to get the area cleared as soon as possible.
Aella blushed deeply. To be honest, she wasn't sure how she felt aobut anybody being infatuated with her. It elad to...destructive things. She cleared Her throat. "I uh, I got out before ahnd." She didn't feel like mentioning that it was her that killed him. Feeling uncomfortable with this whole situation, she left a moment. When she came back, she had an armful of rags. She kneeled beside the two vah, started wrapping temporary bandages around arms and wrists. She swallowed agian. "Too much blood."
Bode snatched her hand away and refused to look at Warren. "Please give me back to Daddy." She didn't to see, consider, smell, touch...anything that had to do with this right now. She was going through to much shoke. "I don't wanna touch a dead man. Daddy!" She started to cry again.
Rydia looked to the prone Warren. "Wolf kin, would you help me bring him into the keep?"

Eliot sighed, sorry she was unable to give even a little solace to the weeping child. "Of course Little Pup." She brought Bode back to her father, she gave him a worried smile. "I'm sorry, I do not know how to console her." She tug in her pocket and gave Simon a piece of the sugar root she still had left. "if she will eat anything, that root will help, if only a little." She turned and walked back to the witch.
"Yes, I will help you." Together they lifted Warren. Eliot took his legs, she had barely the strength to do even that. Gently they managed to get Warren into one of the smaller rooms intended for the crew, for some sort of ship eliot assumed the witch did not explain. The laid him down, Eliot took her cloak back adn they draped him what blankets they could find.
After Warren was settled Eliot gave a little bow to the witch. "My name is Eliot." She said simply. "Is there food and water on hand? He needs energy..." She looked to the Floor beside the bed, she would sleep here in her cloak, but if there was no food, she was willing to go hunt first.

"You spoil me. but yes, your right, we do have stones to take to the Oracle, and, of course...we are supposed to be meeting Ton to see if we can get Ebony blessed by his mother. that will be farily interesting trip, more than likely. So woudl you like to go riding, Lady D'vinn?"
A chuckle and a kiss, lightly fliing his fingers over her ear, and taking her hand, leading her over to the stables.
Onyx's eyes never left Eliot. not for a second, when she brought bode over to Warren. that wizard couldn't be trusted in his opinion. not at all. but he remined silent, only his tail flickering in displeasure to show just how dark his thoughts had turned of late.
"Not without Bode. I'll bleed to death first."
Though he looked at Whirlwind, and purred lightly to her, before resting his hand over hers lightly.
"Sorry to bring all that trouble."
"Little Bode. your friend is not dead. he was almost gone, but he came back. he was pulled back, because of you, and this girl here."
A nod at Eliot.
"Mom couldn't come back, she was taken from us. your wizard friend chose to sacrifice himself. and thus, when you grieved, he was pulled back, teh earth mother chose to let you keep your friend."
Yes, Simon was not being idle. his eyes were readung the spiritual wakes, the essences around and flowing over people. he knew the signs of teh wizard's Life Fire..and he assumed, since Bode had obviously been with him, he was protecting her.

"You could use a little spoiling." But she only smiled at his affects, slipping off the table and letting him lead her by the hand out to the stables. "Oh Ramoth...look what I brought you, just like I promised." And she left Malik to walk over to the mare, running her hand through he mane. Yeah, her and Nightmare had been getting along really well lately. "And he's agreed to go riding." A look back to Malik was she grabbed Nightmare's reins, throwing them to Malik. "I suggest you go bare back..." A little spark of mischief in her eyes at that. "That is if you can..." Tease him? Of course she would. And as long as they were out, might as well drop by to Meilikki's. But she walked over to Serino who took to snuffling about her clothes. What Piper, no pants? Amusing.

Rydai helped Eliot help her, brought Warren upstairs and got him comfortable. She nodded. "There is food downstairs. The Oracle always has sometihng cooking. Water is out back, from a shallow pool of water in one of the rocks. Use it sparingly, it's the only fresh water we have. HSe gave Eliot a look. "I am Rydia." And with that, she walked downstairs.
She paused a moment, when he touched her, surpressed a shiver. There were very few people who could touch her right now, she was making Onyx be one of them. She tied a rag around his wrist. "It owuld have been worse, if the ORacle had not intervined." Next was Moonstone's arm, andwhen she found out he had a few rubs kniocked out of place, well she gave him a punch to knock them back in. Hers was a painfull medicin. Then Onyx's thigh. "Bodes fine, see? That wizard probably had nothing to do with it.
"If Mr. Warren came back then why couldn't Mommy? I want Momm more than I want Mr. Warren. Where's Mommy, Daddy?" She sniffed, burrying her face in her fathers houlder. "Mr. Warren was taken too. The y killed him! They killed him Daddy. Just like Mommy. Why isn't Mommy back?"

Eliot watched Rydia walk away, assuming everything was left to her now. Odd though, she thought Rydia had known Warren, and would want to help. perhaps they were not on good terms Elito thought. She stopped to tuck in Warren's blankets once more and went downstairs. Outside she found the fresh water where she was told it would be. She wanted to take more but headign the wicthe's words she took enough for Warren to have a few sips if he should wake. The she found the kitchen where broth was already simmering in the cast iron pot over the fireplace. She guessed that since Meilikki was an oracle she knew Warren would need some. She smiled, that was so thoughtful. SHe dished out two shallow bowls, leavign enough for others should they want it.
Once upstairs she slowly spooned broth into Warren's mouth, carefull he shouldn't choke on it. By the time she had finished her own broth was cold but she didn't care and she gulped it down almost greedily.
She placed the water she had gathered on the table beside Warren's bed, then curled up on the floor next to him in her cloak.

"The wizard had everything to do with it. a nose doesn't lie. he took her. he may have redeemed himself to the rest of you, but this is still all his fault. he's teh one that put her in that danger."
A snorted lightly. stubborn wasn't he.
Simon patted Bode on teh head, and shook his lightly.
"Warren gave his life up, volunatirly, to protect you. do you remember seeing a massive fire? that ate everything around you? destory all but you and him? that is called wizard's life fire. it's when they turn thier life into magic, and use it to defedn something important to them."
Another small pat.
"Mom was murdered, taken from us. it was not her will die give her life up, but to protect you, to defend you and be with you after those that came after you fell. that is why mom cannot come back. but she watches over you. I know that. and she's making sure that your friends won't leave you."
Malik caught the reins easily, and smirked at her, while nightmer nickered and stomp and wanted out. He glanced at Nightmare, and opened the stall up, and let her walk out, slipping the reins on her.
"I rode her backback in place that would make Serino cower. besides, it coudln't be good for the foals to burden her with saddler and the like."
So he hoped up, and patted Nightmare ont eh neck, waiting for Piper.
"I think you underestimate the riding skill of a Tier'Dal. Just becuase we are born to the underfoot doesn't mean we don't know how to ride in any situation."

"No I don't underestimate...only think you a wee bit fussy at times about your riding gear." He loved that old saddle and rein set. "And Serino doesn't cower...do you buddy?" A happy nicker was her answer as well as a nuzzle. One thing made him cower at times...and that was pissy Nightmare. But no, no place made him cower. No reins or saddle for Serino, was usual and she just hitched up her skirt and pulled herself up on the Zephyr...ride side saddle? Hell no...that was girly riding...and the reason skirts had slits. Hey wait...when did she get new boots? Oh well she found those in her closet too. A pat to Serino, ruffling his mane. "Nightmares first I do believe."

Aella punched Onyx in the shoulder, hard enough to be annoying. "How about we wait till he's concious and then start accusing, hmm?" With wounds tied and ready to go, She stood up. She might have said something aobut the dye on Onyx's wings, but he was covered in blood anyway, and she couldn't tell one form the other. "Don't move around too much, or you'll upset the bandages."
"Yes Daddy. I saw. And Mr. Warren is dead. I know he's dead. Just like Mommy. Just like Mr. Malik almost was." She didn't want to hear about it anymore. She just wanted to go home, get into bed, and sleep forever. Didn't they see that? "Mommy never visits."
Warren breathed with some diffculty, but conciousness raised him to the surface for a short time. where was he? It was warm, it was soft...a bed? But...he was fairly certain that he was in a barren room in some place.
"Bode?"

Eliot lept to her feet in an instant. She had been keppign an ear open in case Warren should need something. She was there by his bed.
"Bode is okay, she's with her dad." She grabbed the small bottle of water, and Urged Warren to drink a little.
"It's okay, yuo can rest."

A smirk at Whirlwind, but he kept quiet. well look at that. the savage beast kept his mouth shut at the command of a woman. Hell his mother had trouble shuttign him up when he wanted to say something. but he was still being quiet and not moving, doing exactly as he was told.
"Mommy does visit. just not in the way you think of. she's ther ein teh glow of the moss around you, it's her voice in teh wind, and maybe, if your really good, I'll ask mommy to come int eh way you want. she can visit and talk to you. maybe not hold you, but she can be there to see, and to talk to. but we need to get you home."
A look at Onyx and Moonstone.
"We're heading back. and I expect both of you to be coming as soon as you are able. there's no need for you to stay here any longer than needed, I'm sure the oracle has enough on her plate without you both."
And he carried Bode out through the laybrinth, silent as the dead, and heading ont the way back home.
Malik nodded and Nightmare broke out in full gallop out of the stables, and rearign up and kicking her hooves and leaving a blazing trail. Exercise indeed. she was going to keep this sexy body after she had her foals by Luclin. Malik grinned lightly letting her run, just directing her toward the oracle's home.

Piper snickered. "Show off. Well then Serino, shall we match them?" A rear from teh Zephyr before he took off after Nightmare, the wind from his own hooves turning the trails of fire into little whirlwinds of fire that spun a moment in the air before dying out into nothing more than warm breaths of wind. Catching up even without wind born travel was easy for the Zephyr...when your hooves didn't touch the ground, you couldn't trip over rocks and soon enough he was running in time with Nightmare, Piper throwing a smirk to Malik as she held to Serino, gallop born breeze ruffling clothes and hair alike. "I think I'm slightly impressed with your riding skill." But if he wanted to play the show off game...she could easily do it too.

Warren could only choke down a mouthful of water before he puished it away. His insides were hurting...a sort of withdrawl after effect form that silvery liquid. He tried to push himself up top a sitting position. "Where am I?" A bleary look was turned to her. "And who are you?"
Aella nodded after Simon. "You heard him. How are you going to get home?" She placed her ahdns on her hips and gave the two vah the once over look. She didn't like how beat up they looked.
Bode sniffled. Her tears were drying a little, if only because there was no water left to leka out. "I miss Mommy alot, Daddy." And then they were on their way home, and she cuddled to her father as close as she could.
Meilikki pinched the bridge of her nose. "Just...clear the front yard. I'm through with people." She stepped back into the keep, took of her cloak and hung it on the nearby wall. She sat at her chiar by the fire.
"Iris?"
"Yes, Mame?" The girl that seemed to always been in the shadow by the fireplace, atching and waiting for orders, took a step forward.
"Make your way to the front of the maze. Stop any who tried to cross to see me. I will not be having any more visitors for some time."
"Yes, Mame." She left.
Meilikki's shoulders slumped. One more bit of buisness for the day...
