Luke smiled softly, watching Kaya scratch the cob's belly. He continued to run his fingers through her hair, resting his head on top of hers. But once more, he was the first to start to become quite sleepy... Why was he so darn tired?! The wolf didn't know, but he couldn't help but stifle a small yawn.

Kaya noticed the almost-yawn, and she looked up at Luke. "Tired?" she asked.

Luke looked to Kaya, then shrugged some, looking away. "Maybe." he said stubbornly, still running his fingers through her hair. He was not going to go to sleep again! He wasn't and that was final!

Kaya smiled and laughed a little. That stubbornness was rather cute. She put her hand on his cheek, making him look back at her and she raised an eyebrow. "Really? Only maybe, hm?"

Luke studied Kaya as she made him look at her. "And if I am? What do you intend to do about it?" he said, kissing her cheek.

She shrugged, giving him an innocent look for a moment, before pushing him as hard as she could down onto her bed, cuddling up into his side and throwing a blanket over them. "Perhaps that."

Luke was surprised to find himself pinned down on her bed before the cheetah snuggled up to him and tossed a blanket over them. Well... That was new. But he smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "I think I could live with that."

Luke chuckled some and kissed her forehead. "Yes, my oh powerful desert queen." he said, teasing her before he started to drift off.

Kaya blushed at the thought of getting married. It wasn't that she didn't like the idea, but it scared her a bit. "You certainly don't seem like a prince. But that's meant in an entirely good way. I think..." [OOC:] I think I will. Presses button

Luke laughed some. "Yeah I don't. But don't worry about being a queen or anything. It'll take some time before I can probably propose and you say yes."

Kaya sighed in relief. The idea of royalty set Kaya on nerve, much less the idea of being it. But if she asked herself if Luke was worth it, she was already sure of the answer. She snuggled closer to the wolf, glancing up at him to see if he was falling asleep.
