Ok, lets see.

The Black Company is a region of land about 100 miles in every direction from the Black Company Dojo. The Black Company started out as a Mercenary group, and has since then dwindled from what it once was. A couple of months ago the Dojo was destroyed, leaving everyone who was a member, new or old as refugees. The newer members followed some of the older ones to Draeken's mansion. He is an older member of the company.

The majority of the threads are connected, and in the region. In the rules thread I have a Thread Relation post that shows what is related to what, and a little description of each. 3nodding There is a variety of character types and technologies and lack there of.

Presently as stated above, the Dojo members are headed over to Draeken's. A central plot revolving around that will have the Dojo rebuilt later on and everyone moving back there, after a fierce battle which has not yet begun. There are other things a side from that going on aswell.

No he doesn't. Your character doesn't even need to be involved with the central plot if you don't want. There is a Guild Plot Update thread which can tell you what else has been going on. 3nodding From there it's really just deciding where to go, and whom you want to interact with. 3nodding
