ele360 Quick question OOC. If there was an air gear ish MMO out there that was very fun to play, but was in German. Would you still play it? I love Air Gear so much! Sadly it was only 25 episodes long, but yeah. I wish they would make more. ;P

The anime was pretty good, but compared to the manga they toned it down soooo much.

Never got the chance to go through the manga. I wish I could just read what happens from the final episode, so I don't have to reread the episodes I watch. Ha.

The anime basically goes up to what's good... after that it's pretty much all s**t. Unless you like the idea of humans being manufactored to work in 0 G and that's why the air gear where invented, but now they protect special parts that will make a person god like, so that's why everyone goes to the big tournament thing. People with roads also get powers (which you see a bit of in the anime when they're fighting the one group in the cubes). It's just.... excessively silly, oh and the girl in there group? Yeah she switches bodies with Obama... you heard me. Most stupid pointless story arc ever.

XD; iunno bout that biz there XD;; sounds like they are stretching tobe one of those annoying epic manga/anime... like bleach D: iunno why I'm even reading it anymore but I can't stop... the last 16 chapters all have the same name with different part numbers... Decide 1-16 so far... yeah kinda ridiculous lol...

I wanted to finish it because I had read so far in, but with all the ridiculous crap in it going on (magic, clones, super powers, etc) I just abandoned all hope that it would ever get back to what it was good at... simple turf wars and skating. I want to see them skate in clever ways and across crazy obsticles... not use magical time stopping powers, flame powers, of for ******** sake bubble powers to win races.

But what about the gratuitous fan service found in almost every chapter? IT does nothing for me but its there none the less.
But in my opinion I think air gear comes across better as an anime rather than a manga period. Not for the story line and jazz but simply because it is hard to grasp what you see in manga form rather then watch it all play out via anime.

This is exactly where I stopped watching. I was cool with it when it was the diff crews who battled it out. I was even cool with some of the powers, like spitfire who made flames through locking and unlocking his breaks. That at least made some forms of sense. But then you got people who are stopping time, and punching through walls and shiz. Im like wtf is this.

I have the IC power to be selfish but I'm not going to use it... simply because this is merely a guild and these people are merely players....
So Maybe Being Kage is a real pain in the a**... like no joke.... I'm going to give these people as much freedom I can without giving them stuff they don't need.....

Hmm, would you believe me if I said I have no idea what you're talking about? I was lucky to have a core I could bring in for my village that I knew but some of the others that joined over time could be a bit annoying.

Also Devil, you realize that it costs 5600 ryo to upgrade an item 80 levels right? Upgrading costs 70 ryo per level instead of the 50 per level creation takes.

quick question - I didnt see a specific length; unless I maybe skimmed by it on accident. If Im learning one of the premade jutsu from the list, how long does it take to learn? Is there a certain amount of lines I need?
