Nakita eyes widen slightly when he had the nerve to ask if she was sure. Of course she was sure! Lucus sounded like a male, would he have br- Okay. Let's not go there. Maybe Lucus was born a female trying to change into a man. Or maybe Lucus was a man and trying to be female but cannot get rid of the name Lucus. Nakita shouldn't judge too quickly. The way he started to inspect her, caused her cheeks to immediately become red. Nakita didn't exactly like it when someone would seem to inspect her or check her out in a way. Her breath expelled in relief when he seemed to come to a conclusion that she wasn't Lucus and would want her to play with him. "W-What?!" Nakita managed to get out in surprise.

She didn't know him. Doesn't even know if this would be a spar or a fight to the death. His sanity wasn't stable for her liking. Nakita felt slightly offended when he had offered a handicap, so to speak. Did she seem so meek? So weak? And she apparently had to meet his expectations. Well. It was on. Even if she said no, she would feel like she had put the family name down even though she didn't know any other Hyuuga. She had been in the Orphanage all her life. Her back right foot slid back and slightly upwards so Nakita could be seen almost standing. Her palms remained in the same position, steady but slightly shaking.

She was wrong. She does have family. Everyone in this village was her family. Gave him a brilliant smile, full of confidence and slight doubt, "Very well. I hope to meet to your expectations, Nii-san." Have she written off her own death contract? She doesn't even know most of her bloodline! Nakita will just do what she can do and act what comes naturally to her. Though she was a bit scared. This was her first sparring. She watched him as she paid attention to her surroundings. Maybe it was a bad idea to spar inside the Academy, but it was to already be started.

Usually, she would much rather know the enemy before fighting them. But as her teacher once said, the enemies you will fight, you won't know anything about them. If they fight you, you must be prepared to learn about them during your fights. See the openings, strike fast and true. Or you are already dead. With that in mind, she wanted him to take the first step. To study him. To watch him. Be on the defensive before striking into the offensive. Maybe it wont' work, maybe it will. Nakita learns best on actual training than just watching or reading about it.

Manfread slid into a proper combat stance as he watched the young Hyuuga.
She already activated her doujutsu, he thought to himself, so what is she waiting for?
Manny decided that it would be better to allow the young shinobi to make the first move, thus he would wait patiently. Which lasted about ten seconds (NEW RECORD!!), then feeling Fuzzy depart Manfread turned his full attention back to the other Hyuuga.
“Keep watching with those pretty little eyes of yours,” Manny said is a teasing tone, “And don't blink even for a second, cause I am about to show you how to really wield the BYAKUGAN!”
The moment Manny finished his handseals, his vision exploded outwards encompassing the entire battlefield. Spinning in a quick circle Manny knocked dust up into the air, obscuring the vision of any non-byakugan users. Charging straight out from cover Manfread closed the distance with amazing speed, ducking to the right at the last second he launched his own haiken aimed at her liver. If it hit she would barf. Violently.

The stranger before her had started to mock her slightly. Even called her eyes pretty as she didn't waver. When he had released his Byakugan, she had the look of surprise but not a full one. She knew that he may have been somewhat Hyuuga but didn't expect it. At all. The young Hyuuga seemed much more focus and the dust that kicked up around the room doesn't bother her at all. He started to charge towards her and ducked at the right as she jumped sideways and her palm with chakara at the fingertips went to strike at his forehead while closing in on his space, in an attempt to seal the two chakra gates to reduce the efficiency of his Byakugan by striking his fore head and the other palm attempts to struck at his elbow as well.

If he was powerful and about speed, she needs to remain close combat. With her being smaller than him, it would be easier for her to be fluid but at the same time, what she was doing was dangerous. If one of the attack was going to land on her, it was going to hurt. Bad. No matter.

Nakita exhales sharply when she was blown back and winced as well as she leaned forward slightly. This left her open for the elbow strike as she bit on her gum to refrain from crying out as a sickening crack could be heard, her collarbone was broken, but not only he had managed to get his strike through but he was dangerously close to her. Used one palm to strike his abdomen at the same time as the other hand became a fist. The clenched thrust palm from the pain as she struck with the would aim for the pathways of his abdomen, sealing off the chakra flow. And the other hand with the healthy shoulder, had more force than the palm strike as she put in her whole weight and did an uppercut to aim right for the spleen by lunging forward.

Nakita ducked and squatted down as her feet remained flat on the ground to keep her balance, her hand slammed against his knee as she swear a nice long f bomb under her breath for she used her injured shoulder, the jolt had made the fracture much worse. Maybe her shoulder was dislocated too? She didn't know just yet. Yet his leg was bent, her hands went to grab his standing leg and pulled him upwards to slam him onto his back onto the ground to avoid the slam onto her shoulder.

She had noticed different chakra on his legs but whose was it? She had no choice when she slammed her palm against his leg, she didn't want it hit her. With the force that may have been implied, his legs in between should leave a gap as she rolled underneath him and landed on her good arm as she thrust her body upwards and her power rests on her foot when the knee was brought back and hits at his lower spine.

Not wanting to take unnecessary damage Manfread spun in a wide arc moving to the left, creating some distance. Taking up another combat stance he prepared for round two! It was then Manny heard Lucus shouting out like a nagging mother. Cringing suddenly, he jumped back a few more feet then turned to face his old friend.
“What do you mean toying with? I was holding back!” he said defiantly, then he added pointing to his sword, “See?!? Handicap!”
“Besides I was bored, and you, San, and James were nowhere to be found,” he said turning his head to the right side. Sighing Manny slowly walked over to his sword and pulled it out of the ground. Swinging it over his right shoulder he hooked it into place on his back and walked over to Lucus.
“I don't mind going a round or three with you in this condition,” Manny said scratching his head with his left hand. Letting his arm drop and his Byakugan fade he added, “But I don't think she would last with out a doctor.”
