Nice! smile I love the persian rugs, they're really cool! I wish they'd give us some new wallpapers, though. You either have to have loud colors or wood panelling right now, seems like. I'd like some some realistic-looking wallpaper prints. If they can do it on the rugs, they can do it on a wall tile! And I want to be able to put stuff on the shelves of the bookcases!

i have to agree Eirwyn, housing updates are always furniture, never walls or floors neutral
not being able to use the bookcase shelves is a major gripe for most people i think, i wish there was more you could put on the walls too. the gaia painting are way too big, i'd have to lose a window! i want more things that are the same size as the wall hangings, but pretty stuff! domokun

Your house is lovely, Jelly... just ready to move into! I agree about the paintings, they sound like a good idea, and are great if your wall would otherwise be empty, but they're a bit on the large side. Alleira would love to have stuff to put on her bookcases, and for the cushions to go on chairs... little things that would make such a big difference. I do love the housing feature, though, even with its glitches and issues. cool biggrin
Ooh... just realised the Homes Arena is back... *goes off to browse and vote* xd

I think the reason these particular pictures are so big is, you couldn't see the image any more if they shank them down any more! But I'd love to have some OTHER wall hanging decor that was smaller. Like mirrors, perhaps. Or wall vases with floral arrangements or greenery in them. Or WALL PAINTING! That would be cool! You'd apply a transparent graphic onto your wall like it was painted onto the wall! That could be anything from a delicate border to spray-paint graffiti! whee

thank you Ounce, jelly says feel free to drop in for a cuppa any time 3nodding Eirwyn, homes would end up like the sims then, and take just as long to load ninja it's a very nice idea though whee but it wouldn't take much for them to make a nice new selection of wall tiles with various different pattern options.
maybe, now that extending your home is cheaper, and interest in homes will be higher for a while, they might give us a few item updates 3nodding

Even some solid color tiles with colors that aren't day-glo would be an improvement! Soft, light blues, dusty-rose pinks, sandy beige...that sort of thing.

*agrees about the non- dayglo tile colours*
I see what you mean about the size of the paintings, Eirwyn, and I do love the Jigsaw images, and it's a great idea that you can win (or buy) them for the house. I think a lot of people would like more options for wall features... maybe they'll hear our pleas one of these days... lol
I've always thought it would be great if the Flower Shop gave an option to make a vase of flowers for your home, instead of a bouquet to hold. And while we're on, how about being able to mix up the flower selection, rather than always having 10 of the same one? biggrin

I've seen petitions about mixing flowers in bouquets in the past. Their edits always looked cool.

Don't think I've been seeing it on the front page when I come by. They're saying negative, violent energy is what's making 09 crazy & what fuels his new weapon. What if the most effective way to neutralize the threat is by NOT fighting or being aggressive? *digs out John Lennon records*

You can have the Yoko Ono records for skeet shooting or whatever. Just you leave my Lennon music alone, man! :X
