Kirumi entered the forest and then smiled to herself upon hearing the sensation of the branches rustling in the wind while she roamed around for a bit, searching for any people nearby that seemed shady. After a short searched proved nothing, she went to the next area.

A great crashing roar broke the silence of the Forest and a gigantic tiger of lightning, followed by thunder, broke down into the ground. Coming to a stand where the beast had been milliseconds before now stood Masahiro. His crimson eyes shining and wheeling around as he looked for any others in the immediate area. Smiling as he saw no one, he began to set to work.
Making a string of handsigns he then brought his hands up and began to feed strings of nearly translucent chakra all around the woods. Making a grid that was set at specific intervals the Hatake smiled. He could feel each thing that moved through these think wires, and each thing that moved through them would feel a small shock, a touch of static that temporarily numbed the affected limbs. The Static Strings technique, so basic, yet so useful. Himself being connected to these strings, moved into the clearing at the center of the forest and took a seat.
"Hmm, my my. Students again. Perhaps we'll get back to bustling business soon enough." The Hatake spoke as he sat himself down and pulled his katana from it's sheath to clean the blade.
Haven came towards the forest. He stood just outside it. Based on the nature of this mission...the Hokage probably set up some form of traps, or the like that were among the forest. Haven nodded to himself, moving along the outside of the forest scanning the area for any mostly dried wood, and leaves. Collecting a large enough pile of them, Gemini got some rocks, placing them in a circle around the wood and the like, and would form a single hand seal. A small flame would light on his finger, and he would simply place it to the wood until it caught aflame. Having a large enough pile for this campfire so to speak Haven would wait for the plume of smoke to get to the point where it was wafting over the forest.
When it reached that point, Haven turn his body completely into smoke, and begin to follow along the smoke plume acting as if he were part of it, and searching the forest. Looking for the Hokage...his target for this mission basically.
The smell of smoke began to fill the air as the winds shifted. Turning to face the scent the Hatake smiled as his eyes began to detect a cloud of chakra. It was a colour that matched that of Haven, but it was spread out, wafting inside of another bout of smoke, natural smoke. So either the boy was trying to get a technique in on him while he was sitting in silence, or he was actually in that cloud, akin to how he himself transformed into lightning.
Turning to face the cloud, Masahiro drew his hands together, making several handseals and kneading the chakra to perform an attack. Bringing the charged sphere of lightning up towards the cloud, the Hatake smiled. Curling out his index and middle fingers he directed it, and a massive burst of lightning charged towards the cloud.
Were it volatile, it would most likely explode, were it benign it would fade away, but with Haven there was always another chance. There was the chance it would strike him and force him out of the air, or to move quickly to avoid it.
"Bang." The Hokage commented as the lightning arced across the skies, taking for form of a large lithe tiger with an opened mouth charging at the cloud.

Haven noticed the lightning coming at him. That meant the Hokage could see at least where he was among the smoke. Haven immediately returned from his smoke form into his normal form, and essentially began to fall towards the forest in order to avoid the tiger of lightning. He wasn't in panic...at all, he simply was falling for the moment. The thought that ran through his head was simple. 'At least I know his general location now.' His lower body turning back into smoke, he began to fall much slower, however he was a torso...and a cloud of smoke, he looked almost ghost like, as he slowly allowed himself to reach the ground in a safe manner. He at least knew the general direction the Hokage was in, but now he was in the forest. He was unsure of traps, and if there would be any of them, but he would begin moving closer to the location which he had seen the ball of a lightning tiger came from.

Josephine decided that through all the learning the she has done, it was time that she finally met up with the Kage. She knew that there were going to be a decent amount of Genin here considering how busy the office was when she was there. She walked to the forest located within the walls of the village and noticed a large bonfire... someone was already within the dense lush forest. She looked into the wilderness and wondered how they were fairing or if there were more genin. Her nerves jumped as she heard a large boom within.
She looked around to investigate...until something caught her eye. It looked like falling smoke, was this a result of the boom that was heard moments ago? She walked into the forest, shield on her arm and sword on her side; she was ready for anything and ready to show the Kage her new skills. As she walked through the forest, the more dense that it seemed to become. She didn't know the forest all that well... thus making her at a slight disadvantage. She looked up and saw that the trees were dense enough to travel through, she channeled a small amount of chakra to her feet and leapt towards a thick limb... she was already pretty high up; but she released the chakra in her feet to further elevate her. She crouched on the branch and looked around the forest.
There wasn't a ton to look at through the denseness of the forest, this was a hunting game and bell retrieval... this wasn't going to be easy. She started to travel deeper into the forest through it's limbs for a sign.

He saw the boy in the distance, his eyes witnessing the changing of the chakra from a flowing form into a solidified form. The smoke was actually him then. He witnessed the boy shift form once more, but he was still outside of the grid. Sighing Masahiro took a stance with his hand on the hilt of his tachi.
Then he felt it, someone crossed the threshold of his Static Strings. But whoever it was clipped a corner and kept moving. Eyes gazing through that corner he saw another form of chakra dancing wildly as it moved through the trees.
"Alright. There's two of you now. Good. Come after me." The Kage smirked as he adjusted his belt and the Kage hat he had kept tucked into it against his hip.

Haven continued moving towards where he suspected the kage to be. As he moved along the rest of his body began to separate into smoke once again, although this time the smoke retained Haven's body shape, simply because Haven wanted to. He looked like a human shaped cloud of smoke. Continuing to walk along, until he could see the kage, in which he would stop to attempt to devise a plan. Although considering he was the kage, he probably already would know Haven was near.

Josephine jumped through the trees and scouted on branches, she needed to know how many people were actually out here. She stopped and wiped off her forehead... and in that instance she saw what appeared to me a cloud of smoke. She crouched on the branch and watched, this might have been another Genin. She jumped down from the tree and walked towards it, she needed to be quiet of there was any chance of actually getting the Kage. Thats when the glint of the Kages silver armor came into view, she knew it! This person was getting ready to approach, she walked behind the smoke like form " Tag-Team? " She smiled and looked at this human formed smoke and gave a thumbs up. This was unusual for her, but she was feeling pretty good about herself.

Maintaining his current position the Hokage smiled as he saw the two students beginning to speak. He began to make several seals with his hand and an odd set of markings began to spawn upon the ground where he had been sitting. His crimson eyes flared towards the pair and his single tomoe spun.
He would begin the process of linking this fuuinjutsu at his feet to another, drawing out a kunai he marked it with another seal. He chuckled as he inspected them at a distance. They were giving him time to prepare. Already putting themselves at more of a disadvantage than he had when he made the cube of chakra strings that they had yet to transgress.
"Stand still too long and you fail." The Hatake shouted as he spun the Kunai on his finger and then deposited into a pocket on his flak jacket.

She nodded and gave the person a thumbs up, she knew that action needed to be take before the Kage himself came for them " Cover me. " She decided that she was going to take the direct route, she unsheathed her sword and held her shield; she started to dart towards the Kage. She knew that she would have to rely more on her sword and shield then her ability in Ninjutsu. She started to get excited and started to dash faster... but something it her arm. It shot a shock through her arm, but she continued. Something dawned upon her, she knew that the Kage was smart... it small shock that she felt made her think that there was a trap nearby. She decided to continue forward, the Kage wasn't too far from her. She got into the Madoukishi stance and just slightly glanced at the kage, noticing that he has the sharigan; she kquickly dropped her gaze to his hands.
Something in her was slightly upset that a non-uchiha had the sharigan... but its wasn't rare. The sharigan is always implanted into others including other Uchiha... but how did he obtain them?
" I hope that your ready to Dance. " She said with a smile and slightly adjusted her feet.

Haven turned his head towards the female who had offered them to tag team. He nodded, and then after the Hokage spoke, saying that standing still too long would make them fail. Haven agreed with that, but the likely hood of traps was still poss- And then the girl said to cover her, and immediately rushed in. Haven watched for a moment, and his smoke form held into the human form, spread into a cloud, and then moved forwards as well. However not as far forwards as the female had. However as it was...his techniques weren't very teammate friendly. He'd move along circling and waiting for a proper moment to engage himself.
The girl was first to act. With all the ferocity and determination he had seen from the other Uchiha over the years she presented herself and took a martial stance. The Hatake smiled and shifted his grip from the tachi to his Sakabato and drew the reverse blade katana. He smiled as he looked to the girl.
"You see this sword? It was reforged from an artifact wielded by one Kein Uchiha, my brother." The Hatake spoke as he looked to the girl.
"I see you noticed my eyes. Have you activated yours yet? Can you do to me, the things I can do to you?" The Hokage taunted as he shifted his blade, a gentle sweeping arc through the air, then perfectly mimicked her stance, but instead of having a shield in his off hand, his armored armband took it's place.
Masahiro's eyes trailed the smoke cloud for a minute, but he did his best to keep his view on the girl. She was the immediate threat.
"Come, give me a hug." Masahiro chided as he kept his movements matched with those of the girl.
