__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Kaleb Roman, & Ilya de la Cruz - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ They... weren't doing very well. And it wasn't boding well with Ilya. "I'm going to squish that bug" growled the woman glancing at the insect. This was an insult! A freaking bug was doing better than her! WHAT!? Kaleb couldn't help but laugh as he grabbed some ingredients. "I can bet that would be considered murder. Don't." To which he only got another growl as Ilya began to work on some lemon-grass pork with steamed rice.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Kaleb Roman, & Ilya de la Cruz - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well that could've gone better. Ilya wasn't particularly proud... well maybe it was better than she thought. Oh a bug was doing better than her... she would be depressed. So she moved the plate over to Kaleb who attempted to work his magic on it. Hopefully it'd look presentable.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ALANIS LEBLANC LIKE TINY GODS RESTING ON MY WINDOWPANE ☆ ☆ ☆ WILL I EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN? ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
While Lucas, the beautiful, talented, marvellous Lucas was chopping down the turtles into little bits, Alanis was busy making all the rest! She portioned the other meat, which was mostly pork, but also a bit of beef and chicken. Then, she made all the sauces that was needed to cook it. It was about then that she heard a loud THOMP. She turned around to see that Lucas had fainted! Surely, that was from them emotions of being with her for so long! That was so cute! She walked closer to him and thought for a second... she just wanted to give it to him on their first date but... this could count as a date, right? Yes it could! She took out a small locket from the inside of her sleeve, where she kept practically everything, and passed it around Lucas neck, locking it. Forever. Yes, it was a special medival locket with Alanis name graved on it and a picture of her inside. The mechanism made is impossible to remove! Now, they could be together forever and ever! Yay~
She also cut a peice of his had, tied it up and put it inside her own locket.... That was a faire trade...
She pulled Lucas out of the way and kept going on with th erecipe, doing basically everything herslef... At least Lucas had time to make a perfect cut to the turtle's head!
Soom enough, her Dish was done and was beautifully decorated with a little orchid flower! So pretty~ It was a Chinese Turtle Braised~ She was sure to have a high grade once more~

Xeiro took another deep breath, he was actually doing pretty amazing. Especially since he wasn't used to cooking Chinese. If he could keep in the standings where he was, he'd be satisfied with himself. With that decided, he knew he'd have to work harder in this round. He grabbed a large bowl and tossed corn starch, flour, baking powder, salt, one egg, one egg white, and 1/2 cup of water into it. He stirred and pushed the bowl aside to allow it to sit while he worked on the second part.
He cut the chicken into precise bits and placed the first group in the batter and continued to cut the rest of them. He quickly moved over to make the sauce while the others fried. He placed oil in a bowl, added garlic, ginger, salt, honey, vinegar, and water. He stirred quickly, wiping his forehead quickly with his arm. He looked up, worried about the short amount of time he had left and began cooking the rice. He rolled the chicken in the sauce, covering them completely and allowed them to cool on a platter. He finished off the rice and placed it into a separate bowl. Now all that was left was a good presentation. How the ******** do you arrange rice and chicken to be aesthetically pleasing?! Honey Chicken and Rice!!

Xeiro pulled a platter out and placed the rice in a relatively thick layer onto it. He then took the chicken, piece by piece, and dropped them atop the rice in a circular manner. He placed the last pieces atop of the first layer and drizzled the extra sauce on top of the platter in a neat drizzle. He nodded and sat the plate out for the judges to hopefully love.

Cooking Festival ❤ ❤ ❤(Mystery Girl X) (Frederick K. Murrow) (Maxwell McKnight) (Rolling twice, first: cooking, second: presentation)
Considering that she failed the appetizer thing in her eyes. She had to do something a bit more original, no? Everyone else was doing chicken, fish, the sweet and sour kind of stuff! She wanted her dish to stand out, but didn't have the time to make a the thousand-year egg that she loves so much... hmm, how about something complex and neat~? Of course the processes would use up all of her time! So she worked quickly, to cook a massive meal~! Shark's fin, ham, shrimp, sea cucumbers, abalone, fishbone, fish maw, asparagus, and the most important one: chicken~! If it wasn't so much stuff, it probably wouldn't be "The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Gambolling Around the Arhat"~ At the end of the cooking, she had very little time to make it look nice.. oh well, she would just have to hope that the taste is enough to win over Gaston~
Each piece was put into it's different place, in a different order to correspond to the legend, with the chicken breast that represents Arhat in the center.

Cooking Festival ❤ ❤ ❤(Mystery Girl X) (Frederick K. Murrow) (Maxwell McKnight) Now it was Max's turn to cook, while Fleurette assisted him. Might do better than her, magicians are fine cooks indeed, but Maxwell having NPC parents meant that he had to cook all his meals.. and pay the bills with NPC money and kick out whatever PC sleeps with his NPC parents. He needed something simple. Max wasn't really about fancy food or even knew anything about Chinese food. It was all about noodles and chicken and stuff, right? Yeah it has to be. So he looked over the ingredients and took a winter melon, before cutting it up and preparing a Winter Melon Soup.. without knowing what he was doing, it looked fine to him, melons are good, and chicken is chinese. Now it was ready for Fleurette to pretty up. Good thing Max was far better at cooking than he was at decorating!

Just boil water, Conor! He just had to make sure he didn't burn the rice or tofu and he got to touch the oven! Ah, happy day! Conor was grinning like a fool – something he hadn't done in a long while – and turned on the stove top. Maybe a little too much water in the pot, but he wasn't one to measure or.. know how to cook rice or any of that s**t. Tofu – which was so ******** gross. It was like a sponge and.. and he had no idea it even existed until that moment. The guy raised an eyebrow, but still dropped it into the pan to watch it.. slowly.. boringly.. cook. ..Oh <********> this was boring! How did Keith like this s**t?! He prodded the slice with his spatula, his grin disappearing as the seconds marched on. He glanced at pot after a moment. Don't check it. ...Yeah, but, it had been long enough, right? Could be burning.. Or.. someshit.. It'd be stupid not to check it – ah, but he should resist the temptation! ..Oh, it'll only be for a ******** second, not like he would honestly do it for looong.. Conor dropped the spatula and started for the pot, but, in a moment of idiocy or inexperience, forgot that pots get hot. ..Yeah, that was definitely stupidity. His bare hands spread over the pot's lid and, one second later, he was hissing through his teeth and flailing his hand about in an attempt to cool it off, muttering a steam of <********' throughout the fuss.

Mao was more than happy to lend the woman his dogmeat! Certainly, they had failed last time because ducks just didn't taste that good. ..Well, what did one expect? An animal that's whole evolution seemed to be based on preventing rape and committing rape can't possibly be as good as one that simply loved to serve people in any way, shape, and form! Such as in a delicious sausage of dog intestines, blood, and ground up meat~ Mao didn't like dogs that much, but he knew they had to serve him in some way to still be man's best friend and that was on a plate! Plus, he was sure it cured cancer or.. or something along those lines. He didn't care, simply because it was that tasty! While Freja stuffed, worked, and did all the cooking, Mao went to arranging the plates so they looked good! ..And they did look good when he was done.. In fact, they looked delicious! Hm.. No rule said he couldn't snack on the food.. And Freja was too busy getting everything all perfectly done to make up for her horrible mistake in the last round.. Mao spent the rest of the round snacking on all the dog-meat delicacies until barely was left for the judges~ ..Oh, well! He didn't care about them anyway.

Considering that the insect did a perfect nothing in the last round, it should be expected that he fail at it as well~! So, how does one fail at doing nothing..? By doing something! The big old walking-stick bug sat on the plate idly, until a little bird – a blue jay, in fact – fluttered over the cooking contest in curiosity. What could one expect? A bunch of food being cooked out in the open and no bird coming to investigate in hopes for a free meal? The blue jay, though, wasn't interested in the fish, but it's eyes did catch onto the helpless bug, served up on a platter. Big one, too! That could really stuff him full for the day! Then he could go home to his next, give the rest to his wife, and push the kids out so they can have some alone time~! ..Is what the bird seemed to think. He lifted off from the tacky banner that surrounded the square and swooped down to the table.
Jade was hardly paying attention, a mysterious file in her hands as she worked on her nails. Boring day.. At least she could relax some from the usual requests. So, while the maid was busy, the walkingstick was helpless in defending himself from the blue jay. ..Or so one would think~! The moment the bird hopped over and picked him up, he went rigid. The bird dropped him on the plate in surprise, having not encountered such a bug before. In curiosity, he prodded him a few times until, finally, picking the insect up again.. Only to have some odd smelling, clear liquid to be released into the animal's mouth. It gagged – if birds could do such a thing – and darted off, dropping the bug onto the plate to squirm, leaking a few more drops of that disgusting chemical onto the plate~

Jade only noticed a moment later that the bug was squirming. She couldn't tell which side was up or down, so she had no clue it was actually on it's back, but she did get that it may be hungry! So, without further ado, she pulled a couple of leaves from a nearby tree – an oak, elm, or maybe just a tree-like shrug – and dropped the ontop of the bug, like a good caregiver would slap a couple of strips of bacon and eggs on top of a sleeping child to get them to eat. ..Well, thankfully, Florence eventually twisted enough to get back up right and was pleased to find a bundle of leaves for him to munch on! So, he gave a couple of chews that all came out to mysteriously form 土, a Chinese character for Earth! Ah, how coincidences certainly helped such helpless bugs like Florence VI~
