 "Not a problem, milady." Sabre said with a small smile before standing and bowing slighlty. Turning he left shutting the door so Alex would have privicy when she came out. Streaching as he walked down stairs, he was a little surprised to see Gabriel was already down there. "You don't seem like you should be walking around on that leg yet, sir." He said when he saw the boys face.

 Alex’s smile faded slightly as Sabre closed the door behind him. She was just now noticing that he was calling her ‘Milady’ a lot lately. Granted it was much better than Mistress, it still wasn’t quite what she wanted. But oh well, Alex could always talk to him about that later. She turned, setting the clothes on the counter and began to fill the tub.
Gabriel shrugged, setting the cane across his knees. His ears where tilted towards Sabre’s entrance but he still wasn’t looking at him. “It’s nothing I can’t handle,” He said, even as his mind focused on the piano. Gabriel half wondered it was just for show. Dragging his eyes away from the grand piano, he looked up at Sabre and said, “What do you take care of around here?”

"My primary job is to protect milady. Past that whatever is needed." Sabre answered with a shrug. He stood slightly slouching, his normal small, perfectly calm smile on his face. The human looked over the young neko lazily still trying to figure the boy out. Something had happened to him, that Sabre could tell but what? "Now that you are here I don't know how much farther those duties will extend now. At least in the more normal standards."

Gabriel nods, watching Sabre with his slouch and his smile. He didn’t know why but it annoyed him, the slouch that is. The neko had half a mind to tell him to straighten up but his wasn’t his place to correct a slave that wasn’t his or an elder really. “You don’t have to worry about protecting me,” Gabriel said instead, taking up his cane and twisting the handle slightly, pulling and revealing a blade hidden within the walking stick. “I have my own means of protection…” He added, not going to mention that he normally carried a smaller hand blade with him whenever he actually went out.

"Yes but are you any good with it, sir?" Sabre asked looking over what he could see of the blade. It bothered him a bit to see such a young kid with a sword. But who was he to judge after all his father had him holding one long before he ever cared to. "After all, I'd hate to see you injure yourself further."((sorry been a little anti-internet later. I'll be on more now))

“I’m good enough with it,” Gabriel said, slight annoyance entering his voice and closed the blade back into the cane with a sharp snap. The Neko glanced first at the door and then the clock sitting on the wall. “When is this cook going to be here anyways? Breakfast should be cooking by now,” He said, finding an escape and excuse for all this annoyances.
Alex dressed in her usual style, a big sweater over a tank top with her favorite pair of jeans today. She left her room with her short hair still dripping a little, taking the stairs two steps at a time before slowing as she saw Gabriel. That’s right, she had a little brother in the house now. Someone to look after. Putting up her best smile Alex said, “Good morning.” And with a glance and a nod Gabriel acknowledged her greeting. Alex’s ears fell slightly and she made her way to the couch.

"Miss Amy should be here soon. If you wish I can get you something small to hold you off till she arrives?" Sabre offered with a calm smile. When Alex came down he looked up and did a half bow. "Is there anything you'd like me to get you, milady?"

Gabriel shook his head to Sabre’s offer. Why eat something when the cook should already be there was his thinking. “No, thank you,” Alex said with a smile at Sabre. She was fine, just trying to be a little cautious after all, her brother seemed a little, agitated? Both the Neko’s ears perked at the sound of the front door unlocking but only Alex looked that way. With a bit of fumbling, Amy came inside, closing the door with her foot and hands full of shopping bags. “Sorry I’m late. Had to pick up a few things before I got here and the traffic was horrid,” The cook explained, shifting the bags slightly.

Sabre sighed internally at the tension that seemed to be filling the room. The two siblings didn't seem to be comfortable with each other at all. When he heard the sound of the door opening he hurried over. "We were just wondering about you ma'am. Here let me take those." Sabre said holding the door open for Amy. Once she was in he closed it and took several of the shopping bags from her. Heading towards the kitchen he set them on the counter's and started to unload them.

“Thank you,” Amy said as Sabre took a brunt of the load out of her hands. “Now, not all of its food. Some of it is stuff I got for you two for the beach today-and hello? Who are you?” Amy said, heading to the kitchen and stopping short as she spotted someone she didn’t recognize on the couch. Gabriel watched as the cook began to make her way to the kitchen, he could already tell she’s gotten too comfortable with the environment and let her work habits and expression drop. “Miss. Amy, this is my brother,” Alex said, jumping in for the Neko as it seemed he wasn’t going to speak, “He came yesterday, and apparently dad forgot to mention it. His name is Gabriel.” Amy nodded, sizing up the younger boy. “Well it’s nice to meet you. My name is Amy you can call me that or Miss. Amy. Up to you,” She said, taking off her coat. Gabriel nodded, still not speaking even as Amy gave up on waiting and headed into the kitchen. “Geez, not the social type is he?” Amy commented quietly under her breath as she got out a thing of sunscreen.

Sabre smiled lightly at the cook's comment about Gabriel. "No he's not. Mister Gabriel also has a bad limp so be careful of he leg." He answered as he pulled the food things out and left the none food items in the bag. Setting the bag aside he started to put away the food, a little more worried about them at the moment. "Alex doesn't seem to be too comfortable with it either. She ended up calling her father last night because I wouldn't let Gabriel in the house till I knew he was really her brother. I fear I may have got her in trouble." Sabre continued as he started on another bag.

Amy nodded, pulling out a pair of snorkels and swim trunks. “Doesn't surprise me that he's mad. Oh, I got you a pair of swim trunks, tank top, khakis and a tee-shirt. Those trunks better fit. For so early in the morning you wouldn’t believe the crowd today. Sunscreen is for the both of you, I know Alex burns like there’s no tomorrow. Got the highest SPF I could find,” She said, listing off stuff as she pulls them out. Amy put a brand new dark purple bikini beside the growing pile of beach things. “She’ll kill me but I got it anyways.” Alex shifted from one foot to the other as Amy left. “Um, do you want to go into the kitchen…?” She asked her brother uncertainly. Gabriel shook his head, “No, thank you.” Alex nodded, taking a seat on the piano bench again. “Do you even play the piano?” Gabriel asked and Alex eagerly nodded. “Uh-huh.”

"Oh thank you. You didn't have to do that. I apprciate it." Sabre said when Amy told him of the things she had bought him. That was good, he had been wondering just what he would where out there. Idley he decided to get his collar back out and clean it. It would probably be best if he wore it when they were out at the beach. "I think she'll look good in it. So I doubt she'll kill you." He continued with a smile when she pulled out Alex's new bikini.

“Ah, she’ll look good in it but she hates showing that much skin,” Amy said with a smile. “And don’t worry about it. I needed to get a few things for making a picnic for you two, well, maybe three…. Is he coming?” She said, beginning to get out a pan and making omelets. “Get the toast started will you for me?” Amy added, breaking eggs into the pan and scrambling them. “How well do you play?” Gabriel asked, honestly not expecting much from her musical talents. “I play alright… Here, I’ll show you,” Alex said happily, turning on the bench and placing her fingers on the keys and playing a soft tone.

"I don't believe anyone has asked him yet. I'm assuming he'll be coming since he is now part of the household." Sabre answered with a pausing in thought. After a moment he got the bread and quickly started several pieces of toast. "What do you think of him so far, Miss Amy?" He asked after a moment as he waited for the toast to finish. ((i don't remember if they asked gabriel. Did they?))
