I need help. I have a speech to deliver for my final tomorrow. I had to type it up, so I have a copy of it. It is supposed to support gay marriage. Could you guys read it and give my your objective critics, regardless of how you actually feel about it? Thank you!

Now to the answering:

Imperator Gnome
No, there is literally no difference. She used to stalk me, its true. She has prooven that the Edward Cullen's theory of dating actually works. If you stalk someone enough they will like you.

I am not going to turn this into a argument, but please do not mention Twilight here. I will rant on it. I will just say I do not like Twilight, and do not wish to have a discussion on it. If anyone feels the need to discuss this with me, DO NOT DO SO HERE! PM me, if you must.

Imperator Gnome
Its not your mouth that we're interested in dear... Wait... No nevermind. We like the mouth to.
And this means that the rest of us can procede to make all the comments we want!
READY!

AIM!

PERVERT AT WILL!

Can you pervert someone whose probably more tainted than most if not all of the people in this guild?

Also, can you pervert the willing?

Imperator Gnome
I happen to like the translation >.>

I sorta want this game now... I do not lie

This is Harley from the game. That alone is enough of a reason to play it.

I seriously want this to be my next cosplay outfit. Anyone know anyone who would be willing to make it? I'll pay. I just can't sew.

Imperator Gnome
Ich hätte Lust zu onanieren
Ich hätte Lust mit großen Tieren

@_@???? What the hell does that mean?

Millenium Joker
1: Yes, I love that thought. whee

2: *Explodes*

DAMN YOU, WHY!?!?!?!?! I MUST SAY SOMETHING!!!!!!!

You just did, sweets. And next time, be more careful when you explode. I got some on my shirt.... wink

Gigant Abraxia
So, hi! I'm Abraxia, Brax, or Bee--whichever you prefer at any given time. I know Cold, Savo, Joker, DG and Leon from another Guild. I'm looking forward to this one, and I hope to get a character up in the next couple of days.

Hrm... not much else to say. I'm pretty easy-going and difficult to offend (namely because this is the Internet and I have the choice of ignoring such things). I have a fair bit of spare time on my hands right now, too.

Now, to figure out what I wanna' play!

Welcome, welcome. (Haha...welcome....wel-come...think about it...) I guess you already read my warning, so I don't have to repeat myself. Yay! Good to see fresh blood here. Hope to see in Oblivion soon....if anyone posts some quests.

And I've been trying to think of one, so get off my back!

If someone's IQ is a bigger number than the amount of totally unperverted comments in this thread than they shouldn't like Twilight XD So I agree with you lol

Yes you can. We have managed to reduce a specific type of perversion into a virus. We just need to inject you (All night long) with it.

Yes, but its more fun if the struggle <,<

XD I'm still trying to make a pair of Hakama and a Tabard to wear around. XD Which is a job I would gladly pass off to someone who is good at sewing >.> So if ya find someone who can tell me

Well, I have a 136 IQ last time I was tested and I actually enjoyed the Twilight movies. I couldn't read the books however. The first one was too slow in the beginning. Anyone who actually whines about Twilight didn't watch it with an open mind.

I refuse to do anything with Twilight because she shamelessly destroyed the Vampire.
If I met The Adolf himself on the street, I might glare, but if I met her, I would give her the hardest punch in the nose I could muster.

IQ has nothing to do with opinion and what one does and doesn't like. I watched Twilight and read the first novel. I'm pretty open-minded. I didn't like either the flick or the novels. Just not into poorly-constructed romances, vampires and useless women-folk. I can tolerate watching Dora the Explore and Go, Diego, Go! but in the end, I decided I couldn't accept Twilight. It isn't my thing.

The only reason I mentioned IQ was becasue Gnome mentioned it.
Twilight wasn't meant as a typical vampire movie. It was designed as her view of that world. It was a decent story. I happen to be a hopeless romantic, so it appealed to me.

Nothing is ever mean to be "Typical".
Beside the point!
Now when people think of Vampires, instead of dark, mysterious and frightening they get visions of sparkles and black stares from a shirtless boy!
It's disgusting! She even admitted that she took ZERO time to research Vampire Mythology when she wrote it. She didn't care, just wanted a legendary creature to butcher!

In other words, you're a whiny vampire fan?
I got ya...
Makes alot of sense actually.

Actually, no. I never really like Vampires all that much to begin with.
I just find that what that woman did to them is completely unacceptable.
PostPosted: Sun Dec 20, 2009 5:36 pm

She created her own breed of vampire. How do you think all the others where made? Same goes with werewolves, dragons, and many other mythical creatures.

I'm really sorry I said anything. Fighting for or against something as trival as a fantasy series that isn't an allegory (like Animal Farm is) is just silly.

Let's just agree that some people like it and some don't. And let's get back to important matters, LIKE HELPING ME PASS COMMUNICATIONS! Did anyone read my speech? Is it ok? Is there any way I could make it better?

Really now? Aren't we the optimist.

*Innocent halo appears over her* Good thing I got over that fear of giant needles I had. I still sometimes fear them, and fight to get away.

I'm not even close to fighting. I can get alot meaner, and alot more personal about things like this. I'm merely trying to point out that people are getting upset about trivial facts in Twilight and don't bother looking into the story of it. It is really a very nice romance series.

Although, I can watch just about everything with a decent outlook. I guess I'm just odd like that. I really only hate horror movies. Most are pointless gorefests.

By the way.
Avatar... it is an amazing movie. Very beautiful CGI very nice storyline. The environments where astounding.

I didn't think he was fighting.
I was ranting, and war was putting holes in my rant. Just a jolly good fun, eh?

I tried click for the speeh. Nothing showed up.
And all I could really do is put up the counter arguments that people against it would.

Thats the link to the speech. The other link didn't work because she linked it to the default self journal page.

Sorry. I'm an idiot when it comes to stuff like that.

And I'm just trying to move the conversation away from potential fighting topics. It's one thing to talk about gay marriage for a speech your being forced to write, regardless if you support it or not (which I'm not going to say if I do or not), but it's another to just talk abotu gay marriage. I've seen stupid fights in guild before because of stupid stuff. So I try to guide conversations away from such potential pitfalls in my own not so subtle way.
