XRedSamuraiX For deep striking, you role in reserves as follows... Turn 2: 4+ Turn 3: 3+ Turn 4: 2+ Turn 5: Auto When you pass your reserve, or get to turn 5, you may bring that unit into play. You place the Leader of the squad any where you choose on the table, and role the scatter dice. If a hit is scored, you may place him there. If an arrow is scored, you scatte 2d6 in the direction indicated. Whether you score a hit or not, where ever your leader is places all other models are then placed in a base-touching circle around that model. No over laping until 1 full circle is completed. If any models go off the table edge, or land within 1" of an enemy unit, those models are destroyed. If the squad leader model you scattered with goes off the edge, or through impassible terrain, then the whole squad...explodes? Err.. how long can you keep something in reserve?

It's cool, I like it Colt.
Dryfolius, as for how long you may keep it in reserve. Whenever you decide to roll for it, and pass it. I'm pretty sure you can hold off on it as long as you want.

Dryfolius Sweet, so any thing after the 5th turn, i can play, but nothing the first? Yes, nothing may come the first turn (which consists of your and your opponents phases.) and if you are unlucky and can't pass the 4+, the 3+, or the 2+, then your reserves will begin coming in automatically. Also you role all reserves seperately.

123colt I wish orks have deep strike... stare Hah, no you don't. Unless you make midgit squads of orks that will be shot up in seconds, I can guarntee you a 30 man ork squad is going to curl around into some terrain, or off the feild. wink Also, orks in rapid fire range that can't do anything but sit there and look meaty for a turn are going to get shot up pretty quick even if there is only 30. Running up using cover affectively will help more I can guarantee you.

Not really, if you deep strike within like 6" of a squad just shoot then assault them and probably come out with a good amount of orks.(if they dont run off the edge or into a peice of terrain) but why get shot down as you run up instead of avoiding that and being right there, ready to assault.

Yes, that would be affective if you could assualt after a deep strike. After a Deep strike you are left hanging for a turn where all units not already in Rapid Fire may move into Rapid Fire, and eat up your Orks. Where as if you run up and us Terrain affectavely, you can get there suffering little to no casulties, however if you run into a bad terrain set up, you could get screwed over.
