Dani forced herself to relax against him, but only after a moment of internal struggles. Part of her was excited, wanting him to be close to her. The other part knew that he shouldn't be there, that Daz would try to hurt Seth if he saw.The excitement outweighed the worry, and won her over. She felt an almost overwhelming urge to touch him, run her fingers over his skin, but resisted.
"You're welcome." she said softly. "How did you get hurt in the first place?" She had been able to tell that whatever had made the wound had gone all the way through him. Not many could survive such a thing, unless they got lucky. She figured he'd gotten lucky, because it hadn't seemed like the wound had been bothering him that much.

"A fight, " he answered, easily eluding the question by giving a vague answer. Resting comfortably against her, Seth continued to watch her. Every emotion that flickered in her eyes showed, both in her eyes as well as on her face. Recognizing the brief flashes of desire, the same desire he himself felt, he once again considered his actions. Deciding that it couldn't hurt to test both of them, he slowly leaned down and silenced any further question by brushing her mouth with his.

Dani went numb for a moment and she put her arms around his neck only because she might have slipped under the water otherwise. This action only brought her closer to him and she deepened the kiss without meaning to. Once she had though, she was lost.

Daz crouched at the top of the stairs, watching the whole scene. He'd only just found Dani when the man they'd bumped into with the falcon had dove into the water. Since then, he'd been crouched on the second to the top stair by the lounge, watching them intently. His fingers tightened around the longsword strapped to his back. He never went anywhere without it, and this once he was very glad. He thought of Dani as a little sister. If this man made any move to hurt her, he'd have a fight on his hands.

Surprised, Seth slid his arms around her, pulling her tighter against him. Deepening the kiss even more, he suppressed a groan. An idiot could have recognized her inexperience and though he wanted to, Seth wasn't about to teach her too many things in the pool. Pulling away, he leaned his forehead against hers and drew in a ragged breath. Knowing if he didn't do something to get her away from him soon and cool them both off he would do something unforgivable. Running his hands briefly over the skin of her back, he pulled away and swiftly dunked her in one smooth motion. He felt a slight twinge of guilt for doing so but knew it was for the best. Moving toward the other side of the pool, he waited, hoping she would try to turn it into a game instead of being angry with him.

Dani came up sputtering and pissed. He'd told her that he wasn't going to dunk her. All good girl thoughts she might have had were gone now. Now she wanted to get him back. Pushing the hair out of her face, she glared at him.
"You are going to pay for that." she said, swimming through the water toward him.

With a quick flash of a grin, Seth moved swiftly away from her. He didn't mind water games...if fact he rather enjoyed them. Prepared for a pleasurable enough time, he looked over his shoulder.
"You have to be able to catch me first little one.." he called softly, knowing his endearment was most likely going to piss her off more.

Dazramus went down the stairs silently, moving to the pool's edge. Leaning over he caught Dani as she passed him and pushed her under again. He then stood and stepped away from the edge, moving far enough back that she'd have to get out of the pool if she wanted to get him back.

Dani started to say that catching Seth wouldn't be a problem, but she was dunked again before anything could get out. She came up again, sputtering.
"Daz you jerk!" she yelled, swimming away from the edge so he couldn't do it again. She then returned her attention to Seth, swimming through the water like a fish toward him. She had always loved the water and swimming. She could actually move quite fast through the roughest of water now. Putting on a burst of speed, she made her way toward him.

Lucid stood on the bridge that connected the west and east towers. It was the highest point of the Haven and he could see for hundreds of miles in any direction he chose to look. He was watching the Plains at the moment, counting the hunters that were trying to hide in the forest on the other side. Thus far, he had twenty. Twenty wasn't bad, just slightly annoying. He was keeping an eye on them though, just in case. He'd found in his many centuries of living, that twenty hunters could quickly become fifty in the span of a night. Fifty was harder to deal with.

Lyra had been trying to catch Lucid most of the evening. So far, she hadn't been very successful. The man was impossible if you asked her, to get the attention of. It had taken her several hours just to find him, and she really didn't want to shout across the castle at him so she had made her way toward him. Only he had left, and she had managed to follow him through the maze that he called a home for a little while but had lost him relatively quickly. Sighing, because she had only just spotted him again, she hesitated at the doorway that led out onto the bridge. The wind slapped at her, and made her wince slightly as it blew her long hair back. Making her way carefully towards Lucid she smiled in greeting. One nice thing, she wasn't afraid of heights. She actually loved sitting on the narrow bridge and watching the world beneath her. It just wasn't usually so windy whenever she came out. Reaching him, she gasped as a sudden gust of wind blew hard enough to push her to one side and reaching out she latched onto his arm for balance.
"Hi.." she said with a laugh, her eyes dancing with it.

Lucid reached out to steady Lyra, taking a firm grip on her. He didn't take his gaze off of the hunters though, knowing that if there were any vampires amongst them, she could be seen. This realization made him step around her to put himself in the line of sight.
"May I ask why you are out here?" he asked, looking down at her.

Her smile fading Lyra took a small step back and shrugged slightly.
"I always come out here...you said I was welcome anywhere in the castle and on the grounds." she pointed out instinctively defending herself.
"As for this moment I came out to talk to you." she answered softly, thinking that maybe now hadn't been the best time. The wind whipped her hair forward, into her face now and was likely blowing strand of it into his face as well.

Lucid Moved back toward the west tower, pulling her with him. Pulling her into the shelter of the tower room, he brushed her hair back out of her face.
"What did you wish to talk about?" he asked, remembering the bits of information that Seth had told him. Perhaps she would help him to better understand this whole situation.

A little unsettled by the feel of his fingers brushing her skin, Lyra lowered her gaze for a moment to recollect her thoughts. Playing with the ornate belt that someone had left for her along with her fresh clothes she frowned as she recalled something that she wanted to ask him.
"Oh this isn't it but who leaves fresh clothes for me every day?" she asked quietly looking back up at him. She thought it odd that anyone would have the time to do so. The clothes always fit her perfectly and were beautiful and often very ornate. She had been meaning to ask so she could thank whoever it was, though she had always forgotten. To tell the truth, before her arrival here she would never have even considered wearing such lovely things.
"But also, I was wondering if you found out anything or if there was anything I could do to help?" she asked hesitantly.

Lucid smiled, looking her over. He thought to tell her that he did so, but couldn't lie to her.
"The clothes just appear. It's a spell, or charm that I put on the occupied rooms." he said, then formulated a chair and sat. "Seth told me that the people that are after you want you alive. They are paying out big money to whoever can do this. Apparently, you are a very rare creature of some kind. The last of your race, they say." He looked at her, his eyes a pale almost gray color. They were his normal eyes instead of the Hunter's eyes. "I must warn you, do not stray from the castle. The men that are paying the reward for you are pulling in the most dangerous of hunters. The amount of money they are offering is enough to make even the poorest man rich beyond his wildest dreams. They will do whatever it takes to get their hands on you."

"Yes I know that much...it's always been that way, since I was a small child." Lyra shrugged and looked slightly sheepish.
"This isn't the first time I've run away." she told him quietly, wanting to be honest. "I should have tried to make you understand the danger to you by helping me...but I..." she broke off, not sure how to explain how she felt.
