Rose chuckled. "Oh come on Majestad. I'm obivously just goofying around with her!" She reached out to nuzzled his neck.
Pancake snorted softly. She shook her head, the chains rattling. She sighed. "I can't wait to get off to the cattle drive."
Amy nodded. Amy walked into the tack room and to the cabinet. She opened it and took out some herbs, to pipe up a horse's spirit when they are feeling down. She took it and then walked back to Pancake. Amy opened the bottle and let Pancake sniff it.
Pancake's ears shot forward and she held her head high. Amy smiled. Pancake started to lick the bottle, nuddging it.
Amy laughed. "She likes it." Amy walked over to Pancake's stall were her hay was in her feed bin, and put a couple of drops in the hay. She came back ouy and decided to bring it to the cattle drive.

Majestad snorted and laid his ears back lightly. "Didn't look like it..." He said.
Ella continued glaring at Rose. "Oi! Leave my brother alone!" She said, pinning her ears back and stomping her hoof. Her glamorous dressage side was being replaced with her rough-and-tough western side and she was not about to deal with Rose's attitude.
Vivian continued brushing Ella. She finished with the hard brush and picked up a soft brush she saw lying around. She grabbed Ella's halter and pulled her head down. "Ella, stop." She said as she began grooming her face.
Ella lowered her head for grooming, but continued glraing at Rose sideways.

Amy watched Rose. She shook her head. Rose was always such a spoil brat. Amy turned back to the hay and added a few more drops before walking back to Pancake. She cleaned out Pancake's hooves and then started to shine out her coat and run her hands threw her mane and tail making sure there was no tangles.
Rose gave an laugh. "Oh please." She looked straight at Ella. "What you going to do about it?" She questioned, laughing. "Nothing." Just then one of the stable hands came and led Rose out of her stall, past Pancake, Ella and Majestad, as she passed each stall, each horse bowed their head at her, and Rose was led to the pasture.

Ella bared her teeth as she passed, she wasn't going to give into Rose. She grew very annoyed seeing the other horses bow to her and she snorted, stomping her hoof. "Why do you bow to her like that, she's nothing. She's not even that pretty." She asked the other horses in heir stalls.
Majestad snorted and lied down in his stall again and quickly fell back asleep.
Vivian finished her mare's face then found a comb and began working on her mane and tail.

A dark bay mare came to the front of her stall and hung her head over the stall looking at Ella. "Pff. You don't see me bowing to that mare."
[green]A strawberry roan gelding snorted. "Well if you didn't know she's kind of the one who rules the stables.." He said. "T.J by the way. And that's Starstruck, Star for short." T.J said bobbing his head to the dark mare across the stall.

Ella snorted. "Well, good. Don't, she's not worth it." She stated to the bay mare, then looked over at the gelding. "Why? If no one catered to her and revered her, she would lose her control of the stables. I just might have to challenge her for that." She said, holding her head high. "I'm Estrella, or Ella for short. Nice to meet you T.J. and Star." She said, inclining her head to both horses.

Starstruck grinned, her mane toppling over her eyes. "It would be great to have someone rule the stables then her. Ever since Rose came here, she's been bossing Pancake around. Then when she saw Majestad and Pancake... let's just say she likes to ruin happiness."
T.J. snorted. "It's true." T.J's ears swiveled towards a horse's whinny coming from the outdoor ring. "And..she likes to mess with her owner." In the ring Rose was rearing and bucking, her rider on her, holding on for his life. You could see in her eyes that she enjoyed it.
Amy patted Pancake. "Ready?" Amy asked as she finished painting Pancake's hooves. She grabbed her purple blanket from her stall and swung it on Pancake's back tieing it together before unclipping the cross ties and leading Pancake back into her stall next to Majestad.

Ella pinned her ears back. "Hmph." She snorted and nudged Vivian roughly motioning with her head to the bay mare bucking in the ring.
Vivian finished clipping on Ella's blanket then turned to look. Her eyes hardened for a moment, then she sighed. "Hey Amy, do you think he would let me get on that mare for a while?" She said, motioning with her thumb to Rose as she led Ella to her stall across from Majestad's and Pancake's. She turned around in her stall to be facing the rear so that she could continue talking to T.J. and Star.
Majestad nickered his hellos to the two mares as they entered their stalls.

Amy unclipped Pancake's lead rope, giving her mare a pat before coming to the stall door. She looked over to the outdoor ring then back to Vivian. "Sean? Well he could be a little bossy and independet. You can try and ask."
Pancake snorted softly and nudged Amy's shoulder. She went to her water though and took a long drink. When she looked up from drinking, her muzzle was covered in water. Snorting, Pancake shook her mane. Her ears pricked over to Majestad who nickered. Pancake decided not to be mad at him, and gave him a soft low nicker. But that still didn't mean she wasn't mad at Rose for flirting with him...
Amy walked out of Pancake's stall, and closed the door, blolting the lock. She pushed her side bangs out of her face, as she waited for Vivian. "You sure you wanna try to ride Rose? She can be a little dangerous."

Vivian chuckled. "Trust me, you should have seen Ella when she was being broken in..." She said smiling as she caught up to Amy and they walked outside to the arena. Vivian looked over at the guy riding Rose, Sean was his name as Amy had pointed out. "Hey Sean! I noticed you're having trouble with Rose...Would you mind if I got on her for a few minutes? Please?" She asked sweetly.
Ella poked her head out of her stall to watch what was happening. Then a thought occured to her. "She's not going on the cattle drive is she??" She asked Pancake.
Majestad got slowly to his feet and hung his head out of his stall and sighed. "I don't like being injured..." He pouted.

Amy smiled at Vivian. They both walked to Sean where he was struggling to control Rose to pull her to a halt.
"Rose! Quit it out!" Sean pulled on the reins, sitting back in his seat trying to stop her. But Rose pulled on the bit and bucked. Sean looked at Vivian. "Be my guest. Just please be careful. If you get hurt, Tom is going to get mad at me." Sean finally got Rose to stop just enough time to dismount and gave the reins to Vivian before sliding out of the ring and stood next to Amy. He was so dusty, and had bruises, from Rose biting him and bucking, throwing him off.
Rose snorted and pawed at the ground, daring Vivian to come close.
Pancake looked at Ella. "Unfortunately yes." Pancake shook her mane. She looked over at Majestad and stretched her head out to him. She nudged his shoulder gently, blowing softly.

Vivian smiled at SEan and took the reins. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." She said, then readjusted her cowboy hat, lowering it over her face. "Bring it, mare." She said under her breath, then before Rose could really react, vaulted over into the saddle, put her feet in the stirrups, and shortened the reins. She ground her teeth together, then dug her heels into Rose's sides.
Ella watched Vivian mount Rose as quick as a whip, her ears pricked forward. If Rose started to hurt her person, she would find a way out of the stall to save her. "Majestad. Look." She said, keeping her eyes fixed on the bay mare.
Majestad smiled lightly and nuzzled Pancake in return, then turned to look towards the arena. He took pricked his ears forward to watch. "Oh dear..." He said.

Pancake brought her head back into her stall, shaking her head. She hung it over the stall door and looked towards the ring. She snorted loudly.
Rose tossed her head, her ears laid back on her head. She pulled at the bit shaking her head and pawing the ground refusing to go forward. She pranced sightly in her spot lashing out. Rose bit hard on the bit shaking her head, then bolting around the corral.

Vivian dug her heels harder into Rose's sides. Then sat back deep in the saddle, locked her knees, and pulled back hard on the reins.
Ella watched, remembering when Vivian had gotten so fed up with her uncooperation under saddle she had done the same thing.
Majestad watched as well and simply chuckled.
