That's a good point. Still murdering an NPC, though.
Rules are funny things. But given the context, I don't think the judges will count it against you.

Will probably lose a couple of points.
...damn that maw of oblivion. Gets me thinking of 40k. Bet there are full on warplover type fags who have gone into the far reaches of Furcadia and Second Life to become daemon princes. From there they rule kingdoms of absurdity that twist and ruin the mind.

I guess you missed the part where I wrote "spectators/NPCs" and "NPCs", such as in the very post you're quoting, where the term "spectator" was never used.
Also, killing NPCs in general (storylines notwithstanding such as what Vintrict ran) is still considered illegal, at least in HoH and maybe previous GTBs. Which would be, again, why I specified NPCs in general, rather than spectators and spectators only. It can be in the fighting area, at the hotel, or on the way to the fighting area - it's generally been banned.
Point being, nonlethal tournaments generally disallow the killing of random NPCs.
..Actual point being, if this is in fact against the rules of the GTB, I''m arguing that you shouldn't be penalized, because it's never explicitly stated in the rules. Since it's not stated in the rules, I'm asking in order to get a clarification, and I'm - again - arguing that it shouldn't be held against you on the basis that the rule isn't in the rulebook.

I like how people are projecting me losing points over two separate things in the OOC and the fight hasn't even started in earnest.
I don't know if it's jealousy, fear, or just a general dislike of me/my character.
EDIT: As I understood it in the past, the only targets that were off-limits are tournament officials and actual spectators, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

Sorry. Was distracted looking at the tits on your avatar, Sigil.
Don't hurt the spectators. We don't need more ic coverage of the GTB becoming more like Mortal Kombat. You won't get penalized for it now, but don't make it a common thing. I'll add it to the rules next year.
I still remember Tacticus throwing and killings spectators at Yusuke in GTB I to try to guilt trip him (which did piss Yusuke off enough to blow Tac's character to pieces).

It's mostly been, from what I've seen, extended to any NPC during the running of the tournament within the context of your character's association with said tournament.
Kill a spectator? DQ. Kill a hotel bellhop (doesn't count as a tournament official)? DQ. Get a ride from a taxi to a fight area and then blow his brains out? DQ.
Kind of like being a sportstar, for as long as you're associated with a team, the team doesn't want you doing dumb s**t that might make it look bad. At least in HoH, as long as your character is a participant, they're not supposed to be killing anybody, period.
But like I said, it's not even in the rules this year, so who knows to which NPCs it does or does not extend to. I thought it would be better to ask instead of waiting til the end of the round only to have it suddenly become relevant if you got DQed for breaking a rule you didn't even know was in place.

With all the psychic, spirit, and demon religion, I just considered them all close to the same thing. It was my way of saying "I'm blocking your psychic link with lots of power."

lol my first impression was that it was some kind of attempt to get stacks before the fight. Her being a death knight and all that.

King Bug lol my first impression was that it was some kind of attempt to get stacks before the fight. Her being a death knight and all that. The diseases only stack on targets already infected. A new target has to be infected from scratch.
