stellarmagic But I have to say... Anakin/Vader is the one character most likely to get hurt in Star Wars. If he was so good, why was he injured so many times... It doesnt matter how good you are, Lightsabers will still ******** you up. The fact is that Vader is useful enough to Palpantine that palps is willing to shell out in order to bolt him back together again. The same can not b said of Vader's enemies.

Nelowulf Its not like Vader had many opponents after mustafar anyway. I can only recall, at best, four lightsaber battles that didn't involve luke... Its pretty easy to win if your opponent doesn't have powers. And no brains. Not counting the Kessel Enclave, of course.

Thats the problem with this. It LOOKS Choreographed. I didnt believe for a second those guys were trying to kill each other, and without that belief, theres no way I'm watching a nine minute lightsaber fight. EDIT: furthermore, Nick Gillard would have smacked these twerps down in the span of a heartbeat. And When you give Nick Gillard Force powers (Which is what Cin Drallig basically is) the process is alot quicker. Hell, Cin Drallig could have probably just punched these two out and saved himself an energy cell. While I saw this post, I thought of a pretty cool duel I had seen. Just thought I would share it. The music is done by the people fighting. I think the choreography isn't too obvious, but then again, my opinion is biased. Art of the Saber

I enjoyed Art of the Saber.
But the only way that Vader defeated Maul when he did was by impaling himself through to get to Maul with that dual-phase saber of his.
Where-as during that fight Vader was having some real difficultly.
But to think for a second. Windu vs. Maul. They both use similar forms sept one is double-bladed.

The blade, no matter how sharp, is no match for an equally sharp mind.

Des Voh But to think for a second. Windu vs. Maul. They both use similar forms sept one is double-bladed. Not really. Windu is completely Vaapad, whereas Maul is primarily a Djem So, with a slight touch of Juyo, if you actually believe Palps went and taught lightsaber skills. Something which I highly doubt he did, being the wizard he is. There is no solid evidence to my knowledge so far which states that Maul was ever taught juyo, and even so, juyo is different from vaapad. Windu would probably mop the floor with Maul, for no other reason Vaapad is designed to use one's emotions against them, which has been famously known as the superconductor loop. For some reason, I also see Windu busting out force powers, something Maul rarely did, and also leading to his downfall.

While we're on the topic let me interject. I've been wondering about this ever since I got to reading the Legacy of the Force series. A fight between three People, who would win.
Jacen Solo Anakin Skywalker/ Vader (Not pre-Mustafar, just pre-getting limbs chopped off) Exar Kun
I ask this cause to me, these are all the people who had the most significant journeys to the darkside, I think. They all wanted to do it for reasons of good... well maybe not Kun but still. Solo and Vader were probably the most similar in how they fell. And they were both hiding secret loves.
I just wanted your opinions on it.

Vader. Hands-down.
Although Kun was powerful, he was not exactly the master swordsmen.
And Jacen is just a p***y. They don't make Sith Lords like they used to.

Kun wasn't a pushover, he did invent one of the first double bladed sabers... more importanly, the hilt was half the side of a standard one, so he really had to have that thing twirlin' to do anything decent.
But both him and Vader would just bitchslap Jacen.

Like I said, Jacen was a p***y.
But the victor would still be Vader, though it would be a long, drawn-out fight I would think.

I think Revan would equally bitchslap Jacen, and probably come out on top of Exar Kun. It would be a long, brutal battle, but Revan would edge on top from sheer raw power in the Force.
However, Revan isn't quite what Vader is, at full potential. Full-powered Vader, all limbs attached, would beat Revan though raw power.
However, if it came to other skills, Revan would own. He built HK-47, was one of the best military commanders in all history, and won duels against the toughest Mandalorians and Jedi of the era.
