epic-writer42 Jedi Sasquatch epic-writer42 Smoking= cough=bad That's my logic. Once again, doesn't make you cough if you don't overdo it. No, it does make you cough. You are not suppose to breathe in smoke of any sort. Smoke is bad for your lungs. It might not be bad as tobacco(But lets be honest, they put stuff in that so you smoke it more often.) but any type of smoking is bad for your lungs. PERIOD! McDonalds does awful things to your body. Don't see any stigma against McDonalds though. Well, at least not nearly as much.

Foam-Dome CH0Z0 We're pokemon geeks, code lyoko geeks, mmo geeks and many other types of geeks. Though she does dance and I do boxing. She plays the violin and I play cello. Her hair smells of chocolate, while mine of Apples. We're both writers who can't draw. Another Haiku. I have no idea why though. Haikus are fun things. She's actually made many remarks to it, luckily for me. And sure, you can come! There's a foot of Snow in my home state and this poor girl thinks 48 degrees is unbearable, she needed my jacket way more than I did. I haven't seen Code LYOKO in years. XD That second line is eight syllables. XD Also, while "haiku" is two syllables after being Americanized, the actual Japanese word is three syllables. "Ha-i-ku." I love snow... D: I can be extremely uncomfortable in cold weather, but I don't exactly need a jacket. XD I still count 7. "I have no i-dea why though." I guess it's up to how you pronounce things, I pronounce idea (the word I think you're probably saying with 3 syllables, now that I think about it) with 2 syllables (odd, southerners usually ADD syllables). Plus I found this funny, the winner of the 1990 National Cultural Festival is a Haiku with a second line that, when I say it, only has 6 syllables. xd I'm also not japanese. I'm comfortable in cold weather, I guess that's probably our biggest difference.

Just to jump in, I smoked pot for like...2 years in high school. I got good grades, dated, did extracurricular activities...I just smoked pot to chill out. And I stopped smoking pot because I got to college, needed the money for other things, and had to take drug tests. I actually never had any withdrawals, that I noticed. Cigarettes, to me, were way more addictive and I never noticed any relaxation benefits. I just used them to occupy my hands and my mind a bit when I got angry at work. Now I have nothing, not even caffeine, 'cause it's all bad for Cata Jr...who I have ultrasound pictures of that I should share in PYP. Argh. Edit: My point is, I don't judge in regards to pot, I think. I never tried any other drugs, but a lot of them have very obvious, very nasty side effects. I disapprove of those.

Finally, somebody who actually agrees with my viewpoint. And yeah, a lot of other drugs are really messed up. Heroine, cocaine, etc. Terrible stuff. The problem is that people associate that stuff with pot because it's also illegal, when in reality, it's not nearly as bad.

Some vegans make me sick. To be specific the ones who go around preaching that it is wrong to take a life of an animal before they go off to skin and boil potatoes, juice carrots, gut peppers, and mutilate herbs for their dishes. They enrage me. To me, no matter how you cut it. No matter what you eat, your still taking something elses life, or inflicting some form of pain on them which may just kill them regardless.

Yeah but bunnies are cute and fluffy and have adorable little wiggly noses, whereas carrots...are good for your eyesight and taste delightful with ranch dressing. Just start calling them celery murderers and be really, really obnoxious about it till they want to avoid the subject of food entirely in your presence.

@ McDonald's analogy: Food is necessary to one's survival, so people are more lenient when it comes to McDonald's. XD CH0Z0 I still count 7. This handy-dandy page says "idea" is three syllables. XD Y'know, I've heard people defend their pronunciation with "I'm not Japanese" before. That doesn't mean it's not a Japanese word. XD The authentic pronunciation of the word in its own language is still three syllables. Shiori Miko epic-writer42 Some [fill in the blank] make me sick. To be specific the ones who go around [fill in hypocritical act]. biggrin ...XD Yeah, didn't you just mention that a couple days ago?

Foam-Dome @ McDonald's analogy: Food is necessary to one's survival, so people are more lenient when it comes to McDonald's. XD I'd argue that happiness is necessary and that pot makes you happy or something stupid like that, but meh, I'm kinda bored of this whole pot debate. That was a fun discussion though.
