(Congratulations on becomeing a mod!)

I think that your interpretation is correct. Treasure every moment with a happy and joyful hart so that when you look back you don't see only waisted time.
So has anything very interesting been happening outside of the okiya Tora-sama?

"Nothing much," Tora replied with a smile, "just your everyday patronadge."

She sat back and sighed, "I've been so busy lately, being back makes me feel like an outsider."

"I'm very sorry for not being here for you all," she added, tears forming in her eyes and clouding her vision.

::suruprised:: You will never be an outsider here Tora-sama.
You are such a big part of our life at this okiya!
I have missed you though ::aki admits a little shyly::
Things have been so quiet but it has also been busy outside of the okiya.

"Thank you, Aki," she said, smiling. "That makes me feel a lot better."

::Smiles:: I am happy to hear that!
hmm.... things sure have been quiet around here don't you think.... What should we do?
(I know it is a very busy time for everyone. It is busy for me too. Is there anything we can do though to keep the okiya a little busy too?)

Tora smiled again. "You know, Aki, you've been here for a while, huh?" she asked. "I was just remembering old times and how we'd all just sit and talk...." Her mind began to wonder to other thoughs that were still too painful. She gave a laughing 'humph' and smiled at Aki.

"In all of your time here," she began, "what was your favoite memory?" Tora asked.

((OOC: We could talk about old times? And you and I could head to the Teahouse aslo!))

.. hmm... my faivorit time here... I think it was when a group of us where here at the okiya together and we just spent a little time in each others comapany. It is so rare that I have always treasured that moment when we were all together. It was a very happy time ::smiles::. I loved hearing everyone talking and sharing different stories.
But enough of what I am saying. Tora-chan you seem a little sad and distracted. Is there anything you want to talk about or something?
(I would love to go to the tea house. I have never been there before.)

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that...," she laughed. "I was just remembering old times and old people. That is the exact reason they say do not dwell on the past: it does no good for you," she said. Tora smiled. "Remember the "dark chapter" in my life I was telling you about a while ago? It has haunted me for some nights now, and I can't help but to dwell in the past."

"Things are better now that I'm awake and with loved ones," she smiled, looking directly and Aki.

((OOC: Yeah... I was browsing through old posts here and at the Teahouse... it's pretty depressing, LOL! xd ))
PostPosted: Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:48 pm

"That doesn't sound good. Dwelling on the past can make you participate in the present or look forword to the future." I am happy that you are awake now ::smiles:: Going back through the old posts makes me think about the different people that have come and gone. I get a little sad too.
You are a big part of the geisha society right? ::looks at Tora:: Is there anything that the community is planning. People seem to come and go. I miss them sometimes.

"Nothing I know of, little one. I fear we are going into a stump." Tora was silent for a moment while she thought. "You know, we could plan something," she suggested, "like, a party or a dance or something!" Her face fell. "But we have not the people to put on such a performance," she said, sadly.

((OOC: Oh, God, it's amazing how reading books influence my writing, haahaa! I'm reading the series The Fearie Path right now, and that's how the characters from the "Land of Faerie" talk. xd I kind of like it. 3nodding ))

(I love books!!! It is amazing how much you can learn from them with out even knowing it. I like the way your writting is too! It is very fitting I think the word would be.)

aki got silent too. : biggrin eep in thought::
"Ahh... are the teahouses still active? It would be nice to plan something there." she said with a little hope. I mean if that is allowed of coarse.

"Of course we may go!" Tora smiled. "I believe there are a few patrons there just awaiting our arrival, in fact."

"But first we must get ready," she said. "Come, follow me, I believe I have a perfect kimono for you to wear on your first night in a Teahouse." Tora looked at Aki and smiled. "What is your favorite color, my dear?" she asked.

((OOC: What's your favorite series?))
PostPosted: Tue Sep 23, 2008 1:22 am

Aki looks at Tora with a feeling of excitment and anxiety. "My favorite color is pink." she says softly as she follows Tora. ::a warm thought coming into her head::

(Do you mean like an anime series or real book series? If it is anime, I love Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu, Chobits, Pita ten, and Itazura na Kiss (many actually hee hee). If it is a real book series, I love the book Granny Dan (by Daneal Steel) and I collect geisha books. I absolutly love reading about them along with the pictures that some of them come with. What about you?)

"Great!" Tora smiled. "My favorite color is pink, too, so I am certain I have many kimono for you that I wore when I was a Maiko," she added. "Come, get you up to my room. I'll fetch the kimono!" Tora went to the storage for the kimono, almost floating, humming to herself.

((OOC: OMG! I LOVE Kaleido Star and Princess TuTu! I also like Sailormoon, Digimon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Tokyo Mew Mew.

As for book-books, I like The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, and the twilight saga. There's also this great, old, western, Christian romance series called Love Comes Softly.))
