And the silence returns.
*Sighs angrily to himself as he slams his hat back on his head*
Looks like I'm off to find another guild. Figured ya said this guild was nocturnal, Miss Nana.

^^ You're not being a rather happy person there Jim. Its a guild, not a thread in the public forums. This place has all the time in the world.

I did. Some people are posting right now. They aren't all speedy. Others merely aren't online right now. Jim has just been introduced no? Perhaps he should make his way to where the activity is more concentraited now, as you said you might have to chip in with those in the mansion to stay alive for the moment.

Indeed. Not everyone is going to be on in one night. It takes a bit of time. 3nodding Some people have to work right now, I know that; "usually" the guild is evening active. Some are just waiting on others to post. 3nodding Try moving Jim around a bit.

Only when that one Cowpoke desides to unleash that army of robo-bugs will I side with the mansion folk. Until then I wanna give anything with that much absurd power a wide birth.

You should go "happen" to run into Cole then. You can play be entertained by the crazy guy with a leaky memory.

sweatdrop Yes, that has been commented on randomly several times. A bit too much power for my liking aswell. KB needs a reason to go bad for now. In the meantime Jim is free to explore the region. 3nodding There are a few sights. Ruined cities, a giant mirror like dome with unknown treasures inside, etc. 3nodding

I've seen the way yer life partner handles anyone stupid enough to get close to that city. Buncha robo mumbo-jumbo. Alpha and Omega and all these other weird computers runnin amuck.

Question, Miss Nana: If ya think there's too much power being flung around these parts why don't ya convince that Twilight Fella to start layin down some law. That power level chart, whatcha-ma-call-it looks all fine and dandy, Miss, but I still don't see how it's going to stop some crazed half man half machine whack job from bringin in an army of super artilery guns and blastin my hide clear out west.

-_- Unfortunately Jim, the only way to survive at a high level RP site is to find a way to at least defend yourself. That's what Cole had to do, he ran right into KB in a bad mood with nothing but a pair of hospital loners to defend himself.

^^;;;

Thankfully, I built in a couple of "defense mechanisms" for this character.

Oh, I've ways to defend myself, Partner. My one concern is this fella Miss Nana was talkin about, bein able to destroy almost a tenth of this other fella's army with a single swipe of his hand. Them are the people I'm concerned about. Not because they pose any threat to me, ya understand that I'm not overly worried about my character's death because he's borne on the wind...he'll be back, but because having an individual that absurdly strong draws away that sense of hopelessness and challenge that most find appealing.

sweatdrop It's not "all" that. Right now his brother is there, simply talking with Cole. Not attacking him at all, just standing watching and chatting.

As for the question, lets see. Well that power level chart "currently" is for a guild event, and that needs a battle profile. No army would be allowed as it's more 1 on 1.

Twilight has answered the question thusly: "Because then nothing would happen in the guild. No one's making a battle profile"

As for the army, it's a plot device. You've read the proposed plot yes? Without it, you might not have all too much to do, then might leave and wander elsewhere. Everyone is going to be given a fair chance, and I don't believe the guns are going to be whipped out on a whim. You don't even have to fight if you don't want to, that's where other jobs have been mentioned. The majority of the overpowered people have listenend and have toned down and lowered the ability or powers of their characters, but a few still fight the system unfortunately. If it gets out of hand, or complaints are made, I have no problem telling said offender to cool it.

Oh I don't know. As the player of several "S-Class" so to say villains myself, I know the score pretty well here. Its a fine line to walk between being properly formidable to your peers so they refrain from bugging you and tame enough the rest of the time to not scare away the less powerful PCs while maintaining enough of a presence to put someone in their place with a glance.

^_^ Its fun.

Then we have the side Cole and yourself are playing right now, that needs to tread carefully so as not to be stepped on while still living their own lives and playing out their own dramas and comedies.

Also fun. xD If not more so with allies and enemies so far above you.

....ya, D. But that was hypathetical. sweatdrop For all I know he might not even be able to whipe out 1% at a time. It depends on the situation as a whole.
