Aki watched as Tora-sama surprised the unsuspecting maid.
It was fun to watch and she could barly surpress a little laugh.
The new maid looked like she would eventually adjust to the okiya in time.
When Tora-sama came back the conversation resumed.
So why has everyone been asked to go away.
Will we beable to come back to our original okiya?
I will miss everyone here terrriable if we are all sepparated.

Tora smiled at Aki's concern. "No, sweetheart, we won't get shut down--we're one of the strong okiyas," she reassured her. "The active maids and maiko of the other okiyas will be relocated; they won't just send them away."
Tora placed her arm around Aki and thought for a long moment. "I was so scared we would be shut down," she began to cry. "And then... and then I found out we were the head okiya! I was so relieved because I didn't want to lose my girls!"

Yuri snapped out of her daze at the sound of much noise in the hall and decided to stick her head out the kitchen door to see what was happeneing.
(( Lol I so forgot about teh guild again, school has had me forgetting my outside life >.< off to play some sims.))

Tora dried her eyes and un-clung herself from Aki. "Sorry," she said with a slight hic-up. "I was so relieved, but then again I felt badly for the other Geisha, Maiko, and Maids...," Tora trailed off. She let out a deep sigh and began listening to the sounds around her to calm down.

Hara opened the door to okiya she had gone for a short walk. As she shut the door, her mind started to wonder off about all the other okiyas that had shut down...She hoped her okiya would not be the next to go. But with all this shutting down talk going around town who knew what was going to be happending.

Tora heared someone enter the okiya. "Excuse me, Aki-chan," Tora smiled. She stood and walked through the kitchen the the main enterence. "Hara!" Tora greeted. "How are you?" she asked. She could see the worry in Hara's face. "Is everything okay?" she asked, concerned.

Hara gave a soft smile and said "Oh Onee-Chan everything is fine or at least I hope anyway. Onee-Chan have you heard the news about the other okiyas...? What's going to happend to us. She had a feeling she was talking to fast so she took a moment to catch her breath and then finished what she was saying...I can't return home to my mother and tell her why I'm no longer geisha I feel I would be at a lost of face if that was to happen. Tears started to sting her eyes and she turn away and in a soft voice said with all my heart I still want to continue be a geisha."

"Oh, Sweetheart," Tora cried, wrapping her arms around Hara, "no, we wont be shut down," she added, rocking her back and fourth. "We're the head Okiya," she began, "so nothing will happen to us." Tora let Hara go and smiled. "And the Maids, Maiko, and Geisha of the other okiyas will just get transfered to a new one--no one would just send them back home." She thought for just a moment. "I wouldn't allow it if they did! I'd take them all into my Okiya!" she said sternly.

Hara gave a soft smile and then said Onee-Chan I know you said that we are the head okiya but, there are not that many patrons in town any longer there for there is no work....so what are we to do now?

((I'm like addicted to sims lol I modded my game so I have no more blurs when they go shower, the todlers can't mess with the toilets , also have a wii in the game lol. I want pets and seasons sooo badly now though lol))
Yuri walked out into the garden and held the shining blue water vial she wore around her neck in her hand and she turned the bottle.
After hearing that okiyas were closing she panicked a bit she was happy to be here having moved from another okiya long ago to be near her older sister. But then she though of going home... Where would she go? she was an outcast and surely the priest wouldn't be able to care for her in his old age that much she knew ... she would have to become a girl of the red lantern district or become a fisher's wife even just to make it. She didn't want that . the thought of it caused tears to well up in her eyes and streamed down her cheeks.

Hara walked out into the garden in her silk skyblue house robe and found her little sister Yuri crying. Hara walked over to her placing a gentel hand on her sholder asked "What's wrong Yuri-san why are you crying?"

( I am so sorry for not coming back but the computer has been down. Luckily I got a new one today so I should be back to stay. Please forgive my rudness.)
I am so releived to hear that we will all stay together. I couldn't stand to be separated forever. Everyone here is so sweet and there for each other....

((OOC: I'm sorry for not being here, either. My best friend and I just got an apartment together, so her and I have been trying to get settled into our new place.))
Tora smiled at her little family. She looked out over the horizon and saw the sun spread it's dazzling rays across the sky, illuminating everything with a pink glow.
Tora sat with everyone in the garden. "Hey! I have an idea! Does anyone have any good stories to tell?" she asked.

(Wow. You have been busy. Congratulations on your new appartment Tora-chan ^-^)
Aki goes and sits down by everyone and tries to think of a story.
I remember some old poems from a book the grandmother used to read.
One goes like this:
Hours Well Spent
Months and days I've wasted
Doing some useless thing...

Like, say you were planting a garden. You work so hard on the garden that you burn yourself out. You hate it now because it's caused you so much pain, and you can't see the beauty of the final product."
Tora stopped herself to explain. "If you look at each flower you plant, each step you take, and enjoy its beauty, then you can appreciate the entire thing.
