What do you mean "just that guy"? You've been in this guild longer than any of us! And if I'm not mistaken, didn't you used to be the captain when it first opened? I really like knowing that there is a place I can go, where I can talk with the same group of people on a regular basis. It makes me feel anchored, like I have a home on Gaia. Sure it would be great if we could have some of that old activity back, but wouldn't you want the old members back to carry on that activity? I know that it's impossible to go back to the first days of this guild, but we can try to do more than carry on a single thread. The most important part of a successful guild is having regular posters. I'm sad to say that I've lost the regular posters in Vetus Gaianus. sad So, when you think about it, we really do have a good thing going.

Oh, lord. This is going to sound emo. XD
Everybody has their "place" where they can go when things suck. They have friends that they know intimately enough to carry on noncasual conversations with.
I don't think I've ever had that "place". I've been on Gaia for almost five years now, and I've not had that place. I'm sad that LoSS took a nosedive, but I think the majority of it was my fault anyways. XP

Thanks for the promotion! whee
Why do you think that it was your fault that LoSS took a nosedive? All guilds fizzle at some point.
You don't have that special place? I thought that this might be your special place. Because sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name... and they're always glad you came.... heart (I know, bad Cheers reference.) sweatdrop
By the way, why was the guild front cleared out?

I don't. I'm pretty unknown. And it sucks. I'm too old to not have familiarity. crying I'm clearing the guild in preparation for what I'm going to try.

You're known here. biggrin I'm not really known out in the forums either. I mostly stick to the guilds.
So, what are you going to try?

There are guild-wide announcements now. You could just send an announcement to everyone in the guild and ask them to come back. It might appear tacky and desperate, but it just might work.

Wow! eek You actually did it! xd Actually, the announcement came out with all of the other Gaia announcements. I think it was announced near the beginning of September. If you weren't around to get the announcement (Gaia is sending alot of them nowadays) then it isn't surprising that you didn't know about it.

Mireo What, you didn't think I was serious? o_o I've joked about doing it in my own guild, but I've never had the guts to do it. sweatdrop I just took the hard way out and tried to lure them in with guild events and guild-wide messages for those. They worked for the duration of the events, but that was about it. sweatdrop Hey SoundBlast! It's good to have you back! Are you not modding anymore?
