It's really not as bad as I thought it'd be. I thought I'd be running back and forth to the bathroom but I really haven't. The worst part has been managing to drink all of it.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 27, 2009 7:55 pm

I guessed that you'd post right after I PMed you! lol Mom said that it was difficult to drink it without vomiting. I'm glad that you're not having that much trouble with bathroom bit. She got to the point where she couldn't hold it in for long at all and it was coming out clear. Okay... TMI... sweatdrop Well at least it isn't happening to you.

I just started wondering. What is like now that you're doing modding again? Are you kept busy with complaints and problems? Do you have any places where you can just relax and chat on random topics, or is LoSS pretty much it now?

Yeah, my intestines are either bad or good at being able to cope with all this.

Eh, it's not terrible. I hangout in the seekrit forums some times but for the most part I don't do much on here except mod and post in here. My relaxation comes from other places.

That's kind of odd. I usually get on Gaia to relax and waste time. Then again, owning two guilds has made Gaia a bit of an obligation to me. One of the guilds is down to one thread like this one is, but the other one has a lot more going on, so it keeps me kind of busy. xp Which begs the question of why in the world do I do all of this stuff when it just gives me more work? I must be masochistic or something because I kind of enjoy it. @_@

Good luck Mireo! And good luck Kenny! I hope that both of your procedures go well.

My fever has gone down, so now I only have a low-grade fever. Because of this, I tried to go to my classes today. Everyone kept telling me I needed to go home, so after my Spanish class, I went to see the nurse. She made me wear a germ mask and made me go home. xp I don't like missing class.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 28, 2009 2:22 pm

Mine went alright, had to get up way too early when no person should have to wake up but I got through the second round of the stuff I had to drink. And then once I got to the doctor it was over fairly quickly, went in, got an IV, got hooked up to various gadgets, was given sleepy medicine and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out and then apparently an hour or two later I woke back up and it was over. Now I'm lazying around and not driving or doing anything physical under doctor's orders. Yay for justification of laziness! Though they found some ulcers while examining the inflamed parts of my intestines so that isn't the best news. Good news is though they gave me some steroids which are supposed to nuke the ulcers and help reduce the inflammation.

And yeah, missing class sucks but if you're sick you should stay home. It really isn't beneficial for you to go.

God...if I didn't have such a bad day today I'd feel guilty for being healthy. gonk

I'm not really going through with staying home for my own sake. It makes me feel like slacker. xp I'm following the doctor's orders because I don't want to infect anyone else. It kind of hit home this morning when I went to Spanish (before seeing the nurse) and my professor had an awful cough and was feeling ill. I had gone to Spanish on Friday morning with a high fever for an hour and forty minutes. sweatdrop I think I'll spare the English department.

@Kenny - I'm glad to hear that it's all over with Kenny! No more nasty laxative drink! xd *does the happy dance for Kenny* It's too bad about the ulcers, but at least they know what's wrong so they can fix it. And steroids aren't really that bad. They just give you a bad case of munchies. lol

@Skippy - I'm glad to hear that at least one of us is healthy! heart But, your day was that bad? sad

Yeah. I just started a new job doing lawn care (got laid off from my last job but my boss liked me so he found someone who needed guys at least for a short term) and it was almost like everything that could've gone wrong did.
I have a pair of pants with a rather large rip in the front, which I don't give a s**t about because they're work pants. It was pretty much from the belt to just above the knee, so large, but not large enough to toss the pants; I figured I'd get at least another 2-3 days out of them. First thing in the morning I was blowing off a sidewalk and my pants got caught on a fence and they ripped almost all the way down. So, even I'm saying they're garbage.
After that we went to a job site in a part of the city that's not so good, and the last time I was there the guy I was with took the keys out of the truck and locked the doors, even though we could still see the truck and all. I figured this was kind of the norm, so without even thinking to look in the ignition, I locked my door, then went to the drivers side and locked that door. We had to call our boss to get him to leave his job site, go to the shop, grab the spare key then give it to us so we could unlock the door and keep working.
Then we went to a site where there were several parked cars along the boulevard and I was on the riding mower. I should've known better than to get too confident and like an idiot I got too close to a car and hit it. Not hard, but still enough to leave a small mark. So, not exactly something to smile about.
The last place we did went okay, except that I was on the trimmer (weed whacker) and the one I was using ran out of string when I was about halfway done or so. I wasn't about to go refill that so I just grabbed the other one that I had put string in earlier in the day and it worked okay, except three times the string retracted back into the head. And opening and closing the head is annoying as hell. It wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't on top of the other stuff, but it was, so it sucked.

Hopefully tomorrow will go better.

And ******** Mondays.

That sounds like one awful day. sad *pats Skippy on the back* Hopefully tomorrow will be better for all of us. I think I love Garfield so much because how adamant he is in his hatred for Mondays.

Last week I was in shorts and tshit sweating cause it was 80 something and humid. This morning I was in hoodie and jeans with cup of hot chocolate and still cold. ******** Indiana weather xp
PostPosted: Tue Sep 29, 2009 8:57 am

At least you are guaranteed cold weather in Indiana. I remember January's in Alabama where people went around in T-shirts and felt completely comfortable. The temperature is not supposed to be 70+ in January! xp But as for right now, it has been in the 80s to high 80s for quite a while around here. I heard on the news last night that there is supposed to be a temperature plunge, but I haven't been outside to see how it feels yet. (I never exactly checked to see what the temperature would be like today.)

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I'm almost over the flu, but I have not been able to shake this bronchitis. xp

Boo, well I hope you get better soon. Getting the flu after bronchitis probably didn't help anything.
