Demetri instantly perked up and smiled at Lunora. "Is that an offer or a promise?" he asked, grinning at her. After all... Yumi was close to being grown up now...

Lunora smiled back and kissed his forehead. "Don't go snooping and there'll be oh so much more in store in that promise." she said, walking to the door. She glanced back and gave Demetri a sly, playful wink before leaving the wizard to contemplate what that entailed.

Demetri watched his wife go, before teleporting back to his own classroom. If he busied himself with grading, then maybe he wouldn't be tempted to find out about Luke and Kaya...
Speaking of Kaya, the cheetah was returning to her room right then, more food in hand. Enough for her animals, herself, and Luke. If he was still there. As she opened the door, she smiled to see the wolf was indeed still in her bed.

Luke had been napping for who knows how long. He had gotten his outer shirt off and added it to his coat which a few cubs had made the shirt and coat into a nest of sorts. The wolf was laying on his back, his white undershirt showing off those sleek muscles as it had no sleeves and it clung to those abs of his. For such a scholarly type, he had the body of a god. The wolf didn't wake as Kaya entered, one hand covering a kitten who was curled on his stomach, the other hand under the pillow, a cub laying across his eyes. The cub had been playing with one of his wolf ears before both had fallen right to sleep.
[OOC:] Yes, Luke has the body of a fricking GOD. Talk about a heavenly body! XDDD

Kaya blushed a little as she caught herself eying the wolf laying on her bed. She quietly set the tray down, pet the cubs and pups curled up in the nest of Luke's outerwear, and had the animals that were awake gather around to eat, and she continually shushed them.

Luke slept for a while longer before stirring. He groaned a little, moving the cub off his head then rubbing one of his closed eyes. The wolf yawned deeply, stretching some before starting to look around to see what he had missed.

"Afternoon, sleepy head," Kaya said, looking up as Luke stretched. The now woken cubs dashed over to where the others were being fed. Kaya smiled some as she rubbed their heads. They were being weaned from their mother, and she almost felt a little sad that they were growing up so fast.

Luke looked to see Kaya, and hearing her voice as he woke up fully. He smiled some and sat up. He moved behind Kaya and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. "I guess I missed all the fun."

Kaya blushed some more when Luke was suddenly behind her, and she swallowed. "Well, there's still some food if you're hungry..."

Luke smiled some and relaxed with the cheetah, holding her close. "I'll get something in a minute." he said, letting out another yawn. He wasn't fully awake yet.

Kaya leaned back against the wolf, smiling some as he yawned. His sleepy face was pretty cute... She reached up and kissed his cheek once, before turning her attention to a cub that was hopping up into her lap.

Luke smiled as Kaya kissed his cheek before turning his attention to a cub who had jumped into her lap. He bet if he was small and furry and cute, he'd get more attention. But he couldn't turn into a puppy, sadly. He'd have to figure out another way to make Kaya happy.

Kaya soon found that the outfit she'd worn for teaching was a little uncomfortable for just lounging around her room. Slowly, she moved the sleepy cub to sit on another chair, and she stood, carefully moving herself out of Luke's grip. "I'm just gonna change," she said, heading to her bathroom. Sitting on the counter was a more comfortable dress. After she changed, she looked in the mirror for a moment. The dress was cooler than her other ones, made of a somewhat thin material and clinging to her curves, which were pretty nice if she did say so herself. She quickly ran her fingers through her long curls before leaving the bathroom and returning to Luke. "Much better," she said, feeling a lot less like she was being boiled alive.
