Luke watched the wizard suspiciously. He wasn't playing into Demetri's hands on this one. "We're just friends. I had asked for her help on some studying I was doing and she had left a book in my room. I came to return it, decided to help her feed her animals when i got tackled by the young ones and they threw my back out. Kaya popped my back back into place, but she told me to rest and I fell asleep. So does your curiosity cat survive now?" he asked a bit sharply. Since the phrase was 'Curiosity killed the cat', and Demetri had now been 'briefed' on the situation, the cat should theoretically live. Okay, so Luke lied on 80% of that. Demetri didn't need to know the details.

Demetri frowned some and had to work hard not to pout. "So you two aren't together? That's a shame... Wait until Kisame hears this... I'm sure she heard all the rumors today, and I'll bet she was extremely excited. Oh well," he said, standing and starting towards the door. "I guess I'll go break the news to her now..." [OOC:] Who said he isn't evil anymore? twisted

Luke looked to Demetri in alarm when his mother was brought up. The wolf's face suddenly paled before flushing some. "Y-You wouldn't dare!!" he stammered, watching the wizard carefully. If Demetri did talk to Kisame, oh the horror!

Demetri smirked. "It's my obligation to correct the rumors for my mother-in-law," the wizard said, crossing his arms. "Unless of course the story I'm going to give her isn't the whole truth..."

Luke thought for a moment. This stupid wizard was serious on getting him busted!! Dammit! He had played right into Demetri's hands! "A-Alright! We're sort of together. J-Just tell my nosy mother I'm working on it!" he said embarrassedly. "That doesn't leave this room." the wolf said, giving Demetri such a glare that meant immediate death if Demetri breathed a word of this to anyone but his mother.

Demetri bowed mockingly to Luke and saluted him. "Got it. Not even your sister will hear." And the wizard meant it. If having his curiosity satisfied meant keeping secrets, well, it was a small price to pay. Soon, he teleported himself to Kisame's temple, excited to share the news.

Luke groaned as Demetri vanished. He laid down on the bed and sighed deeply. "Why is he of all people my brother-in-law..." he muttered. He then pulled the covers back over himself, tucking himself back in and going to sleep. Maybe this will all be just a horrible bad dream!
Kisame glanced over, sensing Demetri teleport in. She smiled and set her tea down. "There's my son-in-law! How goes things at the castle?" she asked, hugging the wizard. She was going to ask about Luke next. And all these rumors were so exciting!!

Demetri hugged Kisame back, and smiled at her. "Well, I've investigated the rumors flying around about Luke and the new teacher, Kaya..." he said, trailing off. He knew that Kisame was wondering, probably hoping that her son would be giving her grandchildren, and he wanted to see how long it took before she demanded to know what he knew.

It didn't take Kisame long. Demetri suddenly found himself in the shadow of the fox demon, a very cunning, and a bit evil, grin across her shadowed features. "What of my prince, Demi-chan? You better tell me!" she said, her voice that perfect creepy tone, an intelligible mixture of murder and sweetness. Oh geez.... She was scary!

Demetri cowered a little and nodded quickly. "He was, indeed, sleeping in her room. They're together, he said, but I don't know why he was in her room because he gave me an excuse first, but didn't give the real reason why he was there afterwards. But he confirmed that they're together!"

Kisame smiled and returned to her non-scary self, smiling happily. "You did a good job Demi-chan! I expect you to come back with more answers!" she said, getting right up against Demetri. "And you better! Or you won't live long enough to sire another child!" the fox said, tapping the tip of Demetri's nose, that unnerving happy smile never leaving her face even when delivering that threat.

Demetri paled significantly as he stared at the usually cheerful fox and nodded. "Y-yes ma'am!" he said, quickly leaving the temple and popping up right outside Lunora's classroom. He needed a little comfort from the pretty fox and he watched anxiously as her class continued.

Lunora soon finished her class and dismissed her students. She then spotted her husband cowering near the door. Oh dear... The fox went over and pulled him into the classroom once all the students were gone. "Alright. What happened."

"I've become your mother's informant," Demetri said, sinking to the floor and crossing his legs, looking very much like his child self. "She threatened to kill me if I don't find out about Luke and the new teacher..."

Lunora rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck softly. "Relax Demetri. She won't kill you. She's just like that to get results."s she said, stroking the wizard's long black hair.
