i dunno what anyone is talking about. wink

so i'm just gonna say, what kind of map should i make? i got a few ideas but i'm ******** psycho. so i'll never settle for one thing.

i need to gather some talented texture artists, i can get the models designed and the level layout built. since my tablet is gone its harder to draw up the stuff i'd need.

Where have you guys been?

Floating around other forums, mostly. I was on the Double Fine Action forums for a while before it was flooded with utter morons, then the MS Paint Adventures forums which I still sort of lurk, and I bought a Something Awful account so I've been posting there, but it's NOT THE SAME.

I messed around with the source SDK for like, a day, so I sort of know how it works I guess?

yeah any experience would work, i'll need inspectors to help me find holes, glitches, inaccessable areas that should be accessable, ways to balance the map, etc.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that we were living in a selective reality.

I wasn't giving you an order, or making a threat. It is just a fact that you won't get along well here if you remorselessly tread on the feelings of others. And the easiest way to save your reputation, and maybe make a future for yourself here would be to show a little humility. Not peg it on your bad day, and not "stab" your thread, but rather have the courage and the empathy required to look at your actions and admit you were insensitive.

and if noone wants to take your apology, then it's their problem. Knowing the cult as I do, though, I know that a sincere apology would help you a lot.

And if you look at your actions, and find absolutely that there is no fault of your own, then I will speak no more of this.and only then should you speak no more of this.

oh i got a select group in mind for that, and if this goes far i'll have our own guy hosting a server for us, probably not 24/7 but when we need to test the map.

While there was definitely a lack of forgiveness on everyone else's part, it's best to move on, press forward. You'll fit in after awhile. You just had a bumpy start.
