"Yeah, it is." She glanced over at him and then looked away with a slight sigh. "It's been a while... since we talked..." She stared at the reflection of a really bright star for a few seconds, watching as the waves obscured it, and then looked up at the sky to try and find it. She was shaking slightly, but it wasn't from the cold.

"If you don't remember it had a lot of talking too fast and discussing foods I shouldn't eat." Mai looked at Sammy look at the ceiling. "Is looking at the ceiling fascinating?" Mai asked.

Sammy just remembered that Mr. Ike had asked about time travel. "Fun!" She called, before seeing Mr. Cody return. She tried not to act to strange. To make sure nothing else happened, she picked up a small bottle, took 5 pills out of it, then gulped them down. She then smiled a bit, happy to know she'd be safe.

"Too many things have been going on to allow us a real conversation." Ginji sighed as he turned turned his head to look at Maddy. "Do you think we'll ever live a normal life?" he asked, quickly turning his gaze to the water again.

Maddy smiled slightly. "Someday, perhaps." She sighed slightly. "Then again, a normal life doesn't sound as fun." She spotted the star she had been looking for and just stared for a few seconds before looking at Ginji. "Uhmmm... Yeah..."

Ike gave up as he scratch the top of his head with a finger, strangely curious of the emotions floating around the HQ.
"Guess no one really DOES wanna do anything. Hm." he said, giving up and walking over to the couch, plopping down on it. He guessed he could just go get Scizor who was still stuck in the past, but he just wasn't ready to give up the peaceful atmosphere.

Ginji laughed a little. "Maybe this is normal for us, locked in an eternal struggle between good and evil. No matter which side we choose, we'll still be fighting. Until that fighting becomes the end of us." the boy sighed heavily as he tried not to think about the deaths that were coming quicker everyday.

Cody faked a smile toward the two girls and got up with Aipom and left the room. He went around the corner and sat against the wall with his knees brought up to his chest and his head buried into his knees. Aipom sat on Cody's head and mimiced him. Cody was hurt and Aipom could sense it. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Aipom," Cody mumbled, hoping the pokemon would forgive him.

"Five pills? Is that not a lot or is it too much? You know you can get an overdose on a lot of things. You can actually overdose on kids cold medicine." Mai remarked hoping Sammy wasn't tanking too much.

Sammy looked at Mr. Ike, her eyes mimicing those of a puppy as she said, "I wanna time travel!" She popped the pills into her pocket for later. "Pweease?"

"I'm just glad that I was given a reason to keep fighting. If not... then the virus would've killed me..." Naturally, she was referring to when Ginji pretty much saved her a week ago. She rested her head on her knees again, still looking at him, and took a deep breath. "What made you do it?"

Ginji blushed as she made the reference and he hunched his shoulders to make himself appear smaller. He thought for a minute as he continued to turn a dark shade of red as he answered. "I don't know...I think it was because I knew you thought you were alone, and I wanted you to know that you weren't, and I didn't know how else to do it." he said as the red receded a bit from his cheeks, still a shade of red. "And I didn't want to let my feelings die with you."

Maddy smiled at him. "Feelings, eh?" She looked down, in thought for a few moments, noticing that her nervousness was fading away. She looked up at him and realized he was blushing. "Well, I'm glad I didn't die. And I'm certainly glad that I'm not alone anymore." She chuckled and somehow got the nerve to kiss him on the cheek.
