Maximos Thats like zombie 101. They're already dead, you have to break the thing bringing them back to life! What if the thing bringing it back to life is internal, and well protected. And VERY hard to break beyond spiritualistic skill, and pushing a soul out of a body. (Saiko)

How flammable are zombies? What would it take to reduce one to ash?

Like 1500 degrees celsius. Not really something you get with normal fire.

AcaciaDamia How flammable are zombies? What would it take to reduce one to ash? Depends on the Zombie. Scientifically rotting flesh is slightly less flammable than paper, dealing with the oozing parts giving off extinguishing moisture. It shouldn't take too aweful much to desintigrate a zombie.

Fire is only good for disposing zombie corpses so they don't contaminate anything. Otherwise you just get mauled by flaming zombies.
EDIT: Well, yeah. That's enough heat to blast the meaty parts into dust. So unless you're carrying a furnace around with you or something.

Yeah, Fire + Zombies = Stumbling, grasping human torches that reek of rotting, burning flesh.
Not nice.
