Nuri TeaDidikai I cannot even remember what Gaia looked like when I first started. I remember the link list and the personals, and switching server links. That should tell people something. Ya, the personals where... interesting to say the least. I still remember going to go-gaia.com instead of gaiaonline.com. And of course, the layout is completely gone, cause they've changed it 3 or 4 times from my count (probably missed a few).

I remember when I had been here maybe three or four months and I kept having to remind folks that I didn't know some of the finer details from M&R and the Rehab guild because everyone treated me like I had been here for years. whee

TeaDidikai BlueRoseTorn We're looking good as of now. Moving in on Friday, and hoping to have everything unpacked by next Sunday or Monday, since he has Saturday off and I'm still job hunting. I'll let you know as soon as we're reading to entertain. ~blink~ Coming to the picnic on Sunday? There's a good possibility I'll need a ride. He's probably going to be working. sweatdrop I've been with Gaia since it was go-gaia.com. New layouts still make me sad.

BlueRoseTorn I've been with Gaia since it was go-gaia.com. New layouts still make me sad. I remember go-gaia.com. I don't think I had the time to join then, I just looked at it a couple times. What makes me sad is the utter lack of color diversity in all the new official art that pops up all over the site. It's mostly gone now with the latest layout, but even so all the avatars and promotional art featured are the lightest of the light-skinned. It may be anime-style art but that doesn't mean everyone has to be #FFFFFF and the best representative of dark-skinned people that they could come up with to be their ONLY representation is a guy wearing a sports jersey with a basketball standing with a guy wearing an over-sized white T-shirt and carrying a boombox on his shoulder. rolleyes EDIT: Whoa, I haven't been on the forums proper in awhile, just the guilds; I didn't even know there had been an update. Strange.,

I haven't even been lurking in the ED or any of its subforums...which is almost an everyday thing for me. I'm hoping it's better now that the kiddies are back in school...damn my optimism.

I was hoping that too, but then we got two people who said something like, "I do not care what history says or what the facts of the religion says, this is what we believe and we are right". There goes my optimism for the year. They also wanted to ignore the rules of the forum. sad

Ditto. Plus, I have enough trouble remembering to check guilds everyday, there's no way I am motivated enoug lately to check the forums considering how annoying they are.

How I miss thee. Anyhoo, I remember old Gaia too...largely, I prefur most of the newer interface, but then again I'm lazy.
