Ike walked into the common room with his hands in his pockets. He was really missing the hanger from the old HQ as he has had next to nothing to do to make himself feel productive. When he looked around the room to find Maddy again, he stopped where he was and sighed silently. No matter how much a forgiving person he was, deep down inside he hasn't forgiven Maddy for what she did to him, to Celebi and Lugia, and the team.
He grunted a "Hey" to everyone and walked over to lean against a wall.

Cody looked up at Ike and said, "Hey, can I talk to you about something really quick?"

Maddy watched Ike, going slightly pale. She looked the other way and hugged her knees to her chest, thinking it best to act like she wasn't there. "..."

"Uh, sure." Ike said lazily, standing back up straight. "What is it?"

"Um, follow me," Cody said and walked down a corridor, hoping Ike would follow. It was important.

"Alright." said Ike, following Cody, not making eye contact with Maddy as he left the common room. He thought this must of been something serious to have to be in private.

Maddy got up and walked to a corner where she would be able to hear them if all remained quiet. She sat down and continued hugging her knees to her chest, glad she was hidden from view right here.

Cody peered around the corner. Though he didn't see Maddy, he didn't think much of it. "Ok. Here it is plain and simple. Maddy and I have had a long long talk about her return to Aqua and how everyone would greet her with open arms." Cody started. "We are her family. You know that. No matter what happens, we forgive our family. The way you are actig sets off a bad first impression for her. She already feels bad enough about this. She cried to me last night about it. You have no idea how much she just wants to come back and be part of the team again." Cody took a deep breath and waited for Ike to say something.

Ike clenched his teeth with his mouth closed. There were so many things he could say to that. Ike took a big breath through his nostrils as he thought to himself: So Maddy give him her side of the story. How dare he just side with her on this. Of course I want the old Maddy back at home with Aqua. I don't know what's making me so stubborn... Ike gave another sigh with his eyes closed.
"Maddy told you the story, huh?" he said bitterly. "Did she mention how she recklessly set that tower on fire? How she so abruptly ditched Aqua for the enemy when promised personal gain? How she tortured an innocent pokemon to try to get rid of me?" he lashed back, the sharp image of her clenching Celebi by the arm and inflicting pain on it.

Maddy balled her left hand into a tight fist, squeezing a few drops of blood out of the scar and out between her fingers. All she could smell was smoke. All she could feel was the heat of the flames. All she could see were blurred images. And all she could hear were Cyrus's words. She buried her head in her hands, pulling at her hair slightly.

"Yeah, actually, she did. Like I said, she told me everything. Now listen," Cody was starting to get pissed. "I'm not siding with anyone, but like I said before, she is family and you better damn well start treating her like it. Stop being stubborn and forgive her. I know it's going to take a long time for you to completely forgive her. It's going to take a long time for everyone to get over this whole mess, but it has to happen eventually. You can't hold a grudge forever."

You can't hold a grudge forever." With the harsh tones and language bring brought to him, Ike blew a gasket. He stood right up to Cody and poked him in the chest. "You step down Aqua Sargent!" He blurted out with rage. The loud roar of Ike's voice echoed down the steel corridors of the HQ and reached the loading bay where Scizor and Typhlosion were hanging out, playing Shogi. As soon as the fierce words hit Scizor's ears, he bolted from the game yelling "FIGHT!" quite obnoxiously. Typhlosion followed to see what all the commotion was. Ike took a step back from Cody, fixing his shirt. His facial expression was like a dagger staring right in Cody's eyes. HE didn't know what I've been through. No one here would fully understand why I'm so mad at her or...or for crying out loud why she's apparently so sad. No amount of empathy any could have could actually feel like what they were going through.

Maddy stood up and walked around the corner. "Hey!" She walked right up to Ike. "I'm the one you're mad at, so yell at me and not him!" She glared at him, her left eye glowing a slightly brighter purple.

That was it. He wanted to get loud? Heh heh. I can show him loud. You're the one breaking her damn heart! Do you have NO sense? I think you do! How about you use it! The only reason you even made leader is because no one else wanted to step up and take the job! Now you abuse your power by hurting those with less power than you? You don't seem to realize that no matter what happened in the past, IT'S OVER! IT'S IN THE PAST! YOU ARE ALIVE! THE TEAM IS STILL TOGETHER, BUT YET, YOU'RE STILL COMPLAINING! You are turning into a self centered p***k. Not the Ike I knew when I came. Not the Ike I knew when BL was leader. Not even the Ike I knew when you became leader! Who needs to step down? I think you need to step down! Cool your damn jets and come back when you have forgiven Maddy!"

Ginji walked in the a bunch of yelling. He'd spent the night of Route 119 and had a nice headache to boot. He walked over to the cabinet and got out a bottle of aspirin and took two. "So...what's going on here?" he asked in a calm tone of voice, a vein popping out of his neck.
