Happy early birthday then sweatdrop Hey, you're in euro history, when is your AP test?
Are you and the other helpers/moderators ready for a rush of "anti-cartoon network" threads?

The test is on Friday afternoon. 12:00, EST

Our mods hardly move any threads these days. It's mostly just Rosa handling reports, and the Helpers moving threadsOh god. What's coming?

Yeah, same with mine, I won't be able to eat lunch that day because it starts before my lunch period does gonk

Well your efforts are much appreciated 3nodding I think the move to make helpers was all the moderators' plans. They got tired of doing it so they made other people do it for them. Well it seems that most of the fans are unaware of any schedule changes. Add on to that the fact that Adult Swim is taking FMA off air after this Saturday, new Inuyasha's including the movies, and new series that they may not like. I'd say it's going to get ugly.

Our school has 4 lunch shifts during 3rd period. Only one gets cut off by the Afternoon tests, so those kids just leave class early and go to C lunch.

And they now resent us. Many of them act like we're stealing their jobs away from them, won't give us even the tiniest bit of extra power(not even unlimited Inbox size like they have), and treat us like we're imcompetent. One even went as far as to say "If you think you'd make better mods then us, just stop for a moment and consider that there is a whole lot beneath the surface and behind the scenes that you do not know." *rolls eyes*
That's... bad. The Inuyasha won't be that bad compared to the initial FMA shock. This is bad. VERY VERY VERY bad. Especially since one of the admins jacked up the mass-mover. cry

Edit: Now that I'm over the initial shock, I've just realized how bad this is going to be. Like, wow. I might just cry. Sunday morning will be even worse then last week.

Our's has 4 shifts as well but they don't start until the third period of the day. My lunch for that day starts at 12:30. I'm going to talk to my teachers tomorrow about changing lunches though, even if I'll end up missing all of Algebra.

They don't sound very thankful. I mean, after all, if they had been doing such a great job and could handle it on their own then why did they want to get Helpers to begin with?
Yeah, I fear for the safety of the AMC so I thought I'd give you a heads up on what's going to hit it soon. I always knew you had some kind of secret weapon to move things whee That sucks that the mass mover is screwed though, I don't know what it does but I can take a pretty good guess and if I'm right then it'll take you a lot longer to do clear them all. xp

They do all sort of stupid crap. At first, you could ask for assistance with TOS violations in the Helper forum. When you did, some mods just wouldn't care and say "Take it to your mentor". I had a harrassment issue, and they told me to talk to WJ or another AMC mod. Pfft. Then, they decided you couldn't ask for mods to deal with TOS vios and had to PM one directly. The last time I did that, I tried 4 different mods over the course of 2 hours, and none of them read the PM. I've given up on that system and simply stick to reporting. We're also not allowed to report a TOS violation and then move it to the Recycle Bin in order to reduce viewing. We're just supposed to leave it, even if it's porn, until a mod gets it. "Normal users can't move anything. Be grateful." Pfft. I wouldn't ask for the right to move TOS violations if mods were able to handle them in a timely manner.

The mass-mover is awesome. whee It still works, but it's become a bit harder to use. I forgot part of the URL, so it's impossible for me to mass-move anything that isn't on page 1. gonk

Happy birthday, Kenny!

...Stupid English homework.
I heard about FMA's cancellation from the TV Anime subforum. Someone was asking about if it was a break...

Yeah, I still don't understand the reasoning behind not being allowed to move TOS violations to the Bin so they won't attract attention, but I suppose I'm just a "normal user" and am therefore not smart enough to understand these things.

*wants fancy toys like the mass mover to play with* whee Well hopefully you'll be able to get to the threads and wipe them out before they get too far back in the pages.

If we moved it, we'd be moderating the situation. The TOS violations are the realm of the moderator, and we shouldn't interfer because we aren't educated enough to know what's a TOS vio and what isn't. /bull
It doesn't take special training to know that posting graphic pics of someone getting ******** up the a** is a violation of the TOS.

I hope so. gonk I know that I'm going to spend at least a hour and a half in the morning cleaning.
