Oh god, how can i calm myself? sweatdrop Why so nervous? keito melfina I missed that chance today, it was just he and I outside for lunch... for 5 minutes at least til one of his southern redneck friends came along. Well apparently I'm not well liked since I'm not sexually active or drink or do other "badass" stuff like smoke pot. So "badass" is now synonymous with "utterly stupid?" When did this happen? I must have missed a memo or something. epic-writer42 Why is it that the stores that I know sell music in my city only seem to sell either music I'm not into. Or the commercially spewed sludge they call dance music. For the sake of all that is decent in the world, where can I find a place that sells electronica, trance, hell even eurobeat music? Me. Maybe you could try talking to them first so they can get to know you before you send a friend request? CH0Z0 Looks like the relationship's gonna spring forth, some girl I haven't talked to in two years came up and started asking me about Cat and if we were getting together because Cat keeps saying nice things about me during class. So here goes. >.< I found the facebook account of what you might call an internet celebrity, and I want to add them, but I don't know how to go about it. I'm debating whether to go for the "I have no clue who you are, I just happened across your profile and you looked cool" angle, or to come clean and hope they don't get put off by the fact that, well, I'm a fan. (I'm leaning heavily towards the latter, because the former doesn't mesh with my personality, and if they actually look at my profile and postings they'll probably realize that.) Either way, though, I feel like I can't just send them any old message, I'll have to make myself stand out as someone who would be cool to add, and I have no idea how to even begin. Arghhh. I want so badly to add them, but I'm really nervous because I know I only have one chance; if I get rejected, trying again would be really creepy. At least before I try, there's still an unknown degree of hope for them accepting...once I've tried and failed, it's over. So I've got to optimize my chances against failure. If I get rejected I want it to be for something I couldn't have controlled, like if they only add people they know personally, not because of anything I did wrong. How do I do it right? Help me please?o_o I would just be honest. D: Saying "I have no clue who you are," just makes a person feel . . . invisible.

Well I wouldn't put it like that, it's just a placeholder for the obliviousness, but like I said, I'm pretty much set against using that approach anyway. ^^;

Ugh... Now I'm really pissed off at myself.
I've written a few blog posts that I was planning on posting sometime soon to officially start my blog, but I had my brother read over them first since he's a writer and he could give me tips, and... He basically eviscerated them.
Turns out my writing style for blog entries is not good at all.
He was pretty tactful about it, and I understand that all it takes is some work, but Jesus... I had no idea how bad they were until my brother pointed it all out to me. I get the impression that it isn't worth trying.
