Gloryrness was glad that once again, a monster was defeated. Walking over to where the monster was buried, He took a Holy cross that hung around is neck, underneath is armor. He slowly carved a large cross in the stone where Salem was buried. The stone glowed for a few seconds, the cross could be seen. But then, it faded again. And the monster, was sealed. Never to return.
Walking over to Cobra and Straven. Gloyrness' happy expression diseappeared. Straven, died in battle. Gloryrness did not know this man. But he deserved a funeral. And a good one. It seemed that Cobra did know this man. So Gloryrness walked several feet away, leaving them alone for a while. Waiting for Cobra to call him. Gloryrness would not leave this man, Straven, Untill he was buried.
He'd see what he would do then. Most likely, as that was why he was still alive now. He'd search up the other dangers, monsters.

Kanashi no kuro tenshi Yuuske walked up to the shack and put his hand against it and emanated darkness from his hand. "there's no one inside." He said before putting a filament of darkness, just tall enough for the two of them, around the back wall so that they could enter noiselessly. ((they're still behind the buildings right? I'll let you decide what's in there..)) ((not sure if Allure [sorry don't know what to call you yet] replied so I'm going to repost.. I'm too tired to read, and I'm going to sleep now so yeah..))

Gloryrness Brodon Straven slowly opened his eyes. He tried to catch breath, but was barely able to do so. Straven's vision was blurry. He could only see vague colours. "Cobra....? I-is it....is it you? Please... tell me it's over...?" He said. In a barely audible whisper. His eyes closed. And while doing so, another whisper was heard. "Ple-ease.........." He paused "look after my children"Cobra placed his left hand on the man's shoulder, resting it there softly to assure him it was a friend, he wished he could do more, but his right arm was completely incapacitated and could not be moved... "It's alright Straven, it's me...the fight is over. Whatever it was that took over Salem was finished by your strike. We have sealed and buried it now...it won't ever surface again. You have served your children and your city by saving it once more. Cobra's heart sunk deep as he saw the man close his eyes almost completely. To see someone who cared for others in such a way, even if it was by questionable means, to lose him now was a great loss to the city. Cobra had only known him for a few days, but he considered him a kindred spirit in his motivations, and now, as a friend. "You have my word Straven, I will protect them till MY last breathe as you have. You may consider them safe and well cared for under my guard...I promise you. You may be at peace now..."

"Thank ....you.." He said. Before closing his eyes completely.
Gloryrness turned around, and saw a bright light. Gloryrness was close to the god(s). He could see this. "He's gone up there." he whispered.

Cobra stayed still for a while, looking down at Straven's lifeless body, not crying, but mourning the man's passing and appreciating his sacrifice..."I will one day make you a hero of this city Straven. Everyone should know of your sacrifice." Staying still for another 20 seconds or so, Cobra made his resolve clear inside him before speaking...
"Thank you for your help stranger, I do not know your name, but I'm sure we couldn't have done this without you. I would ask for another favor though, if you could...I cannot lift Straven on my own. My right arm will be unusable for the next few days, a side effect of calling on that unholy power, but Straven deserves a proper burial. Help me take him over to the sealed entrance of the mine shaft I just created...I will meld his body into the street as a testament to the cause he died for. He will rest in the very spot of the city that he died protecting and it will one day be a monument to his sacrifice."
Gloryness came over, gently lifting Straven himself and placing him on the cross that signified Salem's decent and backed away. Cobra moved over, placing his left hand on Straven's chest and concentrated for about a minute. After a while, Straven's body began to meld into the earth below him as Cobra pushed down, the streets eventually engulfing his body completely as Cobra's arm partially disappeared along with him. Once the body was submerged, Cobra controlled the stone now entombing Straven's remains and pushed it down about 50 feet, where it would remain undisturbed in the middle of the rock which separated the mine's chasm from the street surface.
Another minute passed as Cobra pulled his arm out of the street and got up, looking down at the grave site. "3 allies now dead for this cause. All because this city is too afraid of our abilities to live in peace with us." Cobra's words were quickly cut off with the blow of a stern whistle as the clanking of armor could be heard down the street. "HEY! YOU TWO! STAY WHERE YOU ARE! YOU'LL ANSWER FOR THIS!!!" Cobra looked around quickly, seeing the destruction and then recalling his actions...it would be easy to assume with how he looked and the effects he was creating that would make the guards think he was the culprit. "s**t!", looking to Gloryness, Cobra asked no questions, this man was already associated with him, he would have to come with them..."Let's go! We have to get to the hideout!" Cobra immediately ran off ina sprint away from the guards, holding his limp hand in his left so as not to cause damage to it as it flapped around uncontrollably and led Gloryness into a series of alleyways as he made his way to a close=by manhole.

Straven was buried, Gloryrness said some last words while looking up, holding the holy cross around his neck. "Father, Accept this man in your kingdom. He fought well."
As the guard suddenly came, Gloryrness did not know why Cobra ran. For the first few seconds or so, Gloryrness just stood there. But when he saw that the knight drew his sword. Gloryrness decided it was best not to fight him now. Gloryrness was exhausted himself too. Before taking off to folow Cobra, Gloryrness raised a low row of bricks. (Trip wire.)
Trying to catch up with Cobra, he shouted after him. "Oi! Tall one!? Where are you taking me!?"

"The name's Cobra, little one.", Cobra said as he was forced to slow down noticeably to allow for Gloryness to catch up, "We could easily defeat those guards, but violence is not my way. If I can avoid confrontation I will, so we are on our way to the sewers. The man you just saw give his life for this city has been fighting this war against the oppressive knights for much longer then I. He has developed a secret base in the sewers where he takes in the poor and needy and supplies for them through thievery. Before he died, I had made an alliance with him to use the area to harbor refugee elemental users like ourselves from the guard's wrath."
..."If we can gather enough people, we can take this city back for good, but for now we need to lay low. Fear is too strong of a weapon to be used against us, and not all elemental users are as peaceful as I am. We need to gather as many as we can and hide them away until the wrath of the knights is satisfied and they think we are subdued. Then, we can make our move when they least expect us." After another few quick turns through the alleys, Cobra came to a manhole and stomped the ground, causing the cover to pop up as the earth around it shook. Holding it up for Gloryness, Cobra looked at the man and gave a funny smile, "I hope your sense of smell isn't too sensitive..."

"Well met. The name's Gloryrness Brodon." He said.
"Why, Did you fart?" He said in attempt to joke. But he was still with his mind at what just happened, and had been said. Climbing down, he waited for Cobra.
"Why do they fear us? In my time, they praised us. They'd carry us on hands and feet. Well, there weren't too many of us back then. I never saw so many at once. Three of us. Did you just say there were more? "

[[Calling me Allure is fine. I call you Yuuske in and out of the RP anyways lol. I hadn't seen it. Thanks for reposting.]] They entered into a dimly lit room. There were hardly any windows for light to shine from. On the table were several candles that seemed to have been previously used for short periods. Also was a writting utensil and a few pieces of paper. The place was small but there lay a table with several chairs and beautiful paintings on the wall. The whole place was dark and dusty but beyond that, it was surprisingly a good place. She wondered why the previous owners left so much behind then decided to pay it no mind. she felt they were probably in a rush for whatever reason. Maybe the same reason as them....who knew...
"This place seems splendid. Shall we get them? I need to warn them about something too..."

Thymen Alexandria Vance Sam cursed loudly as he dropped a bucket on his foot and kicked it at the door to the sewer tunnels. He shook his head and turned to Ace " I've found wrought((Iron)) but it's all in the bed frames" he said and sighed, turning to one of the Orphans " does anyone here know where there's an armory!?" he shouted and looked through the crowd. Sam snapped his fingers c'mon! Help me out here! I'm one of the good guys!" he said and simply waited for a reply. ((Thymen, since you know this place better than anyone else I'm gonna need some info, namely; the location of an armory, or at least a stock-house)) "I haven't seen one while looking for the scales.. " Ace was about to speak, but the ground began to shake (Read Cobra's post) and Ace fell over. So did several things that hung on the walls. The flames of the torches flickered. But they 'survived' Ace heard metal clanging against eachother, and falling to the ground. Suddenly, an idea appeared in Ace's head. "Maybe..Just maybe... I came across this room with several costumes. Including two, real, knight armors. We could go get some food. And pass by the blacksmith. We won't even need money!"Sam Smiled as he dusted off his coat " that's fiendish of you, Think it'll work?" he said and shrugged. ((Short post I know, but what more can be said?))

Three of us. Did you just say there were more? " Cobra quickly followed Gloryness down and closed the cover behind them and began to lead the way down the more and more familiar sewer pathways that would eventually lead to the hideout, but figured it woukld be a good time to get to know this new ally... "Well I don't know what 'your day' was, but nowadays elemental users are not as common as it would seem by the current circumstances. Had I met you a week ago, I would be agreeing with you that we do not see many elemental users together at any one time...we are rare enough that you could find yourself meeting one only every few months or so. However, strangely enough, in the past month, I have met and dealt with more elemental users then I have in nearly my entire life time. If you ask me, it's a sign of something to come...but that's just me.""As for why they fear us, who can say. We all fear what we don't understand, and when it comes to the amount of power some of us wield, that fear can be amplified. You could say that it is their lack of ability to control us that would drive their overzealous attempts to do so. For whatever reason however, elemental users normally lay low, not wanting to draw too much attention to themselves in the fear that they will attempt to be controlled. As for me, I have traveled for years now, trying to use my abilities for good, to right past wrongs. there have been times when I have been heralded as a hero as you say...but I think that nowadays, most governments don't want heroes...they just want subjects. They want the power, and they want people to listen, and they don't care how order is established, as long as its peaceful for the most part. They don't need us to keep the peace, and they fear the power we control will bring chaos, and so, as it is currently, we are hunted."...continuing down the winding paths and causeways that lead from one pipe to the next, Cobra realized suddenly how much he had been talking and changed the subject to Gloryness, "So, Glory, tell me about yourself...what is 'your day'? Fifty?...60 years ago? When did you realize your powers?"

The rumble from before had caused Havessa to lose her concentration as the scale dropped once again onto her lap. She sighed and picked it up, putting it with the rest. Gazing at it only momentarily. The talk of outfits in another storage room also caught her attention. It would be best if they all changed their appearance now. Havessa Got up and moved closer to the two men. "At this point in time, it would be wise if we all changed our appearances. The city guards know what we all look like. It would be easier to travel if we remained unrecognizable." She urged the two with her cautious advice. "When the others return, they'll need to change as well. Armor included." She added to the end. At least the three of them can go and see what they all have to work with until the rest return.
