The shield did nothing to help the old lady, and she was hit hard by the wind attack that Reia had created, "Aaah!!"

Typhon watched the old woman take the attack at full force.

"What? Wait!" He said as Reia fell to the floor. Now he was set alone against the old lady, but he felt he had a greater chance of defeating her due to the damage that the old lady received.

The old lady was on the floor, and she got up slowly and weakly, wiping off some blood that was running down her face. She moved her hand so that some of the paper on the wall twisted around Reia and started pulling her towards the red light outside.

"Stop it you stubborn hag!!" Typhon threw one of his kodachi at her to distort her concentration on Reia, "I won't allow you to hurt her!!"

The kodachi was deflected by one of the pieces of paper, but it served its purpose. The paper around Reia scattered across the floor. He then used it as an opportunity to move in on the old lady, and he swung his sword diagonally towards her torso. However, the same piece of paper that deflected the first sword also deflected the second one and sent it hurling back at Typhon, "Ack!"

The sword buried itself in Typhon's shoulder, and so he grabbed it quickly to remove it. The old lady took this to her advantage and used the paper to sweep Typhon to the floor on his back. The old lady moved her hand once again to command the paper to pull both Reia and Typhon towards the red void, "Nnn..!!"

He struggled, but to no avail. Then he looked over at Reia. It caused him to feel sorrow that he wasn't able to be of much help, but he continued squirming to get free. He wanted to rescue Reia now more than anything. He didn't want to see her go through the same fate as him. Then the swords that were lying on the floor slid towards Typhon, but he didn't notice them, and neither did the old lady.

Behind me? Typhon used one arm to help him turn around to see where his swords were, and sure enough they were behind him. He then grabbed both of them with one hand, expecting to use them to cut both him and Reia free. But he gasped when both of the blades seemed to be absorbing him, splitting him in half as he was drawn further inside the swords, "What the f...?!!"

His words were cut off when he was completely within the swords, both of which floated in the air and morphed into two elongated broad swords surrounded by a blue aura. Typhon could see himself as the two swords, though he couldn't pull himself to believe it. He wasn't going to sit around and question it, so he went to work as fast as he could. One of the swords sliced through the paper that held Reia, leaving a short blue trail of light as it moved, and the other pointed towards the old lady and thrusted itself at her in a spear-like fashion. She used her paper shield to block it, but the sword burst into blue flames and burned a hole through the shield. It poked through and impaled the old lady right through the chest. She gasped as she clutched the sword. Then the sword yanked itself up, causing more damage to her. She collapsed to the ground, holding her wound in pain as all the paper fluttered to the ground and they were once again back in a normal room.

The two swords spun together, and Typhon emerged within the center. Then he grabbed the two swords, which turned into regular kodachi and sheathed them. He looked down at the old lady, "You deserve so much more..."

He walked to Reia and picked her up, "I hope you're doing ok.."

He kicked the door open and carried Reia outside the house, heading back towards Konoe's place.

Eventually they returned to the house, and Typhon walked passed Nolan and the healer. He gently placed Reia on the couch. The healer didn't say anything and was expecting Typhon to speak up.

Typhon looked up and then turned to face Nolan, "We had a small battle with the witch. She used some sort of wind attack against the old lady, and she went down after that. The attack must've used up most of her resources or somethin.."

Typhon covered the wound on his shoulder with his hand. He didn't notice the pain from it earlier, but now it was beginning to throb and burn.

"Amazing! I didn't think you'd care!" Typhon laughed at Nolan's comment, but he gritted his teeth soon afterwards once the healer removed his hand and applied the medicines on his wound. He wasn't going to give Nolan the pleasure of watching him suffering from the pain.

Typhon raised an eyebrow and grinned, "So in actuality, you care about how she feels."
