Jake could hear noises coming from outside the room, the man had definitely gotten in. But it wasn't just this fact that made him nervous, it was that this person did not only look familiar, but he recognized him. On the night of his eighteenth birthday, he had a dream, in it was that man along with thirteen others he had never seen before. Now was not the time for nostalgia though, for now he needed to concentrate on stopping the monster from getting in.

Ryuu quickly ducked into the building. He gently folded his wings ad hid them into his back as he looked around. He waited a few moments for his eyes to sdjust to the darkness before he looked around the room. This room seemed empty. He headed towards the door on the other end of the room.

Lidi perhaps had just dodged some daggers, she wasn't too sure, but when she looked out a window as she went for the stairs, she noticed a few on the ground outside. She continued heading upstairs though, her knife in hand. She came to the top of the staircase and looked around. There were about three rooms and she quickly went to checking each one. Opening the door and- if they weren't there- shutting it again. She had come to the last room and opened the door to see the small girl on the ground with Jake. She let out a sigh of relief but quickly looked to the window in the room, waiting for Ryuu. ...Together.

As the door opened, Jake readied the dagger to slice, only to see the girl from only a few minutes earlier pop in, "Oh it's only you. What the hell are you doing here?" Jake asked frustrated, 'Just what I need another arguement.' Reluctantly he moved aside and allow her passage.

Ryuu opened the door, and headed out to see two other doors. "hmmm.." Ryuu wandered to a door and opened it. He scanned the darkness for a moment before sighing and closing it. No luck. He headed towards the other door, and stood before it. He pulled out yet another dagger. He placed his hand firmly on the nob and turned.

.Forever... ((Monster... yes, that suits Ryuu very well. A blood sucking vampire with weapons going on a killing rage.))
Lidi watched as he ndearly attack her but noticed who she was. She gave a short nod to him before stating, after not spotting Ryuu outside and shutting the door behind her, "I'm here to help you. I doubt someone with only a dagger can kill a vampire. Let alone injure one when their only back up is a little girl." She glanced to the girl and then moved into the middle of the room. If he wasn't outside the window by now, that only meant that he was probably inside the building. The only other way in was via the door. She glanced between the door and the window a few times, awaiting Ryuu's assault. ...Together.

'Damn it!', Jake thought as the doorknob turned. Quickly he moved over and pressed as hard as he could. 'Maybe I'll still have alittle of that strength from before.' He turned to the strange girl in the room and ordered, "Make sure they're safe!"

.Forever... Lidi watched the doorknob turn and Jake press against the door. She placed a barrier around him just in case and felt the little girl grip onto her. She watched and waited, chances were that Ryuu would either knock the door down to break through it using whatever weapons he had. In that way, she was glad that she placed a barrier around Jake so he wouldn't be injured. She patted the little girl on the head with her free and and continued to watch. ...Together.

Ryuu pushed against the door, and it gave way a little before shutting on hi again. That's odd... Ryuu pushed against it again, and much the same thing happened. He pushed against it again before stepping back from it. A smirke appread on his face, "Little pig, little pig, let me in." he taunted as he held he door knob again, ready to jerk the door open at any moment.

The man on the other end of the door was strong, and yet still somehow Jake managed to keep him at bay. Had it been a different time, he would have pondered how this was possible. But for know he was just glad that it was. Suddenly the door jerked forward and was wide enough for one to make his way in. Jake tried to push it closed but most of the man's body was already in the room.

Ryuu pushed the door open further as a wide smiled appeared on his face. "See, we didn't have to go through all this trouble if you had just let me see the girl in the first place..." Ryuu slid into the room and closed the door behind him. He eyed Lidi for a moment before facing the boy again. He fixed him with a hard glare, "You might wanna stay out of this, kid." he pushed past the boy and towards Lidi. "Why do you even bother to protect these two? They're worthless humen." he sneered in disgust. "Just let nature take it's course - let me have my meal.

.Forever... Lidi watched as the door was jerked open and Ryuu pushed passed Jake and closed the door behind him. Then he approached Lidi and she gripped her knife, listening to what he had to say. She had to restrain herself from attacking him right now. She merely glared and replied bitterly, "Why not? It doesn't really matter if they're human or not, does it?" She paused. "i protect them because I want to, and if you were smart, you would notice why." She prepared herself, guessing that he might lash out at her. If he did, he was going to either attack another barrier and end up with a knife in his stomach, or he was going to kill her. What ever came, came. ...Together.

(Wow, no one seems to remember the old lady I mentioned *sigh*)
"Hey over here, your fight's with me, Wrath," He wasn't sure why he called the monster that. He supposed it must have been in the dream, after all, it's so difficult to remember details once awoken. Jake gripped the dagger in his fist, and made a run at the man, hoping that he could at least slow him down.

Ryuu chickled at Lidi's words. He dodged Jake's attack easily, and landed nimbly on his feet. He ignored Jake's words as he continued to chuckle. He slowly opened his crimson eyes and stared at Lidi for a moment. He threw the dagger that was in his hands at her and pulled out his sword from its sheath and held it loosely in his right hand. He eyed Jake, the little girl, and the old lady with the corner of his eye.
