James watched the suitcases vanish as Hyperon teleported it onboard. With it gone, James sat on his bed and covered his head with his hands. At one point he thought he heard Arianeira and his heart rose, but when it wasn't her, he simply lay back. A part of him just wished he had the strengh to try again.

A Chris Daughtry song came on, called, Over you. She liked that song. And surprisingly enough, she knew all the words, even though its WAAAY past her time. "I never saw it coming, I shoulda started running, a long long time agoo! And I never woulda doubt you, I'm better off without you, more than you more than you know!" Singing alon with the lyrics like a teenager agian, she resumed. "I'm slowly getting closure, I guess its really over, I'm finnaly gettin better, Now I'm picking up the pieces, Spending all of these years, Putting my heart back together! Cause the day I thought I'd never get through, I got over you!" She had a decent voice, and this song was perfect. Rose's voice wasn't too good at high notes, or low notes either, just the middle. She sighed as she listened to the oldie fade away, and a new song cam eon, one she never heard.

Arianeira got up again, crossing to the window and looking out at the spaceport below her. She had a sudden urge to climb out of the window and get some fresh air. She opened it slowly, carefully looking around for hand or footholds.

What had ma said? When you get a dream, never give it up? James pondered, rising to his feet. He looked once at the bed then walked swiftly across the room, pulling his door open and crossing the hall. It were as if he were now in battle. He knocked quickly on the females door.

Arianeira was already outside the window when she heard the knock. She turned to look back puzzled and hit her head on the open window, letting out a low cry of surprise and pain as she nearly fell off the ledge. Luckily, her years as a pirate had given her both good balance and excellent reflexes and she grabbed the sill even as she recoiled from the bottom of the open window, so that she only slipped slightly, rather then fell, head ringing.

James felt himself shiver slightly as there was no answer, just a thud. He listened carefully as he knocked again, his ear pressing to the door.

"James?" She managed finally, her voice sounding almost normal as she peered back in through the window. She was still confused and everything was a bit fuzzy as she shifted position slightly. Arianeira put her hand to her head testingly and it was sore but there didn't appear to be any blood anywhere which was a good sign. She needed to get back in again before Stratford wondered what she was doing, but she needed to let the fuzziness fade slightly first.

James' eye twitched as he looked at the door. One more knock then he'd kick the door in. He knocked loudly.

The knock was sounding more impatient, Arianeira realised as her head started to clear. She scrambled clumsily back in through the window with more speed than stealth, cursing under her breath as she hit her elbow on the ledge with a thud. Nursing her battered elbow as she crossed the room quickly, looking for anything obviously wrong with her appearance before pulling open the door. "James?" She repeated, "Is everything ok?"

He stalled. What did he say? It had been very well to walk over her but what did he say? "Yes." He said, "why not?"

"That's good." She replied, slightly confused as she searched for a better response. "Are you coming in?" Arianeira left the door open for him and walked to the bed slowly before sitting on the edge of it, giving him time to think about whatever it was he had come to say.

James followed, putting his hands on the females shoulders. He gave her a quick peck on the lips uncertainly.
Former Earth Navy Dreadnought Christine
Standardised orbit over Endret II
Real Space
The F.O.E Christine broke off from hyperspace, drifting on half engine speed, powering down as it drew into an orbit. It sent a pulse beam to the Endret II stating its reasons for being there as a engine recharge.

Arianeira knew this was not a good idea and she could think of quite a few reasons why she shouldn't, but tilting her head up further she returned the kiss softly, leaving her hands resting on the side of the bed.
