Chokushi "But I the village is deserted!" called Eru as Kyo sped off. Kyo stopped, and spu naround quickly. Within seconds, he was before Eru, and his hands were on his shoulders, squeezing them as tight as possible."Has something happened?! What, what is it, tell me now!"

"I.... I have no idea." said Eru with a solemn expression. "I escorted Miss Lunaria to the village, hoping that she'd be safe amongst her kind. But when we got there..." Eru's head turned towards the village. "....something was wrong. Not only was the village void of all life, but several of the buildings were in ruins. I can guess at what happened. but I sure hope that I am wrong."

Lunaria nodded a little before she looked at Kyo "But Daysa took me to a fort that a lot of people were at and that's where I met Eco and saw some others." she looked at Eru "Are you ok by the way? I didn't mean to hurt you before."

Kyo yelled angrily."God! I should have been here!" He tightened his grip on Eru's shoulders, not intentionally tryign to hurt him."Was a woman named Kaida hurt!? Tell me, damnit, tell me!"

"Sir, we were not witnesses to the assault." explained Eru. "I not even know what your fiance looks like, let only what yher medical condition is. All I can say is not we found no bodies or signs of death at the village."

"But that isn't a clear sign she is ok. She may have been wounded, and taken somewhere. We need to head out, I need to see her, talk to Eco, and set up defenses around the Village area, of wich I will personally lead after tending to my wife. Have you any idea of where anyone might possibly be? If not, I recommend that we each stay together, as a small group, we can be betterly able to combat any negative forces that might atack. Form a syntagma, and we'll head out towards the Fort. If noone is there, it will serve as a temporary base for our activities. We can get provisions and suppiles, then head next to Rikudo." Kyo was trying to clear his head from all bad thoughts. Letting them cloud his mind would not be any help to his new allies. He would lead the Syntagma, tha tway he coudl fight any resistance from the front.
(Syntagma was an ancient Carthaginian Military formation. Basically, One faces North(me), One Faces East, another South, and the last West, usually it was a square type(due to more forces) but here it will bea a cross)

Lunaria looked at Kyo like he was a little crazy "Ummm excuse me can I say something, please!?" she was getting tired of being ignored "I did just say That Daysa took me to the fort to meet Eco and several overs. Everyone was fine. I'm more then sure your wife is there. Eru needs to get back before the Bekobi find out he's a double agent and torture and kill him." she was trying to make everything go smooth and good for everyone.

"Lunaria is right..." said Eru. "I can't afford to stay here. To my knowledge, I am the only bekobi on your side, and my death could bring some dangerous results. If you'd like, I could scout ahead and make sure the path is clear. But, once I get within a mile of the fort I must make my way back to my outpost. If I don't report there within 24 hours my superiors will get suspicious."

Kyo shook his head to clear it up,"I'm sorry, my mind is cluttered with millions of thoughts. We still should form a syntagmata, until Eru must depart, then we shall form a tri-defensive, and head on to the Fort. Then I will personally pick my agents to defend the Fort. Agreed?" Kyo would not let anything furtherly harm his home or family.

Fuwante sighed. If she had known these people better, she would have offered to go up on her demon balloon summon and look around for whatever, but she didn't know them and the red eyed one seemed dangerous.
Besides, she thought, that guy is treating me like he knows what I am! I haven't even used any chakra or anything, so what happened? Although inwardly Fuwante was puzzled, she decided to continue to pretend that she was only a civilian merchant.
" Excuse me, sir, what is a syntagmata?" she enquired.

"A formation, one positions themselves north, the next west, one east, and the last south. It's liek a compass rose, really, it keeps all sides guarded. It's our best chance of staying protected and alert." Kyo wanted to hurry and go, it had been too long, far too long.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I cannot risk being seen with shinobi." said Eru with a sigh. "The Bekobi has eyes everywhere, and I have risked too much already by even talking to you." Eru looked towards Fuwante, who appeared to be in a very similar situation. Although she was not a shinobi, she would still need an escort. "Excuse me, miss?" said Eru, motioning towards Fuwante. "I can see that you did not wish to be amongst shinobi. You are a business women, and desire customers. Am I correct?"

Fuwante nodded her head, torn between the wish to visit the village to see if her father was there and the desire to remain hidden.
" I don't really care who I sell to, but I'm not a fighter, sir. I wouldn't be too much help in most fights. If someone could just point me in the right direction, then I'll get going."

Lunaria looked at Kyo for a moment "Umm I'm sorry to say.. I don't fight either.. but I just came from there.. it's safe." she looked at Eru for a moment before kissing his cheek "Thank you again for everything." she then took off in a run toward the fort.
