Artemis Xetsa Avatars are finally saving! Yay! And the map is very nice, by the way, Kuri. How'd you make it, on what program? Thank you! I used PSP7 to make it. I've never made maps on the computer before, so I kind of just had to wing it. To make the outline of the continent, I just ran my paintbrush around in random, jagged shapes. I used the airbrush and fill control to get the landscape colors. For instance, in Ulumaki you can see everything's kind of speckled--that's the airbrush effect. For the buildings, I just filled a blank image with interesting textures and colors and then cut out shapes and pasted them together on the bigger map. I also used a few brushes here and there to make things like the trees, the fish insignia, and the sparkles in the ocean.

I was thinking about getting a gal called Zavy to do some character art for Nekcal. She's really good at it but I'm just not sure yet. I'll have to think about it I guess. smile

oooOOoooOOoooOOooo, I like the avy Artemis, it's pretty!! ^_^ Homecoming eh? We had ours two weeks ago, I didn't go... I've never been to a school dance... or any dance for that matter.... jeebuz, I'm a loser... sweatdrop

Sorry I haven't posted the last few days. I was hit by a car on Thurday and stuck in a hospital until Saturday afternoon, and then I ran around the rest of the day. (not literally, of course.)
I maranged out of it with some roan burn and a fractured pelvis only, and the other girl that was hit just furthered the injury on her knee, but all is well. whee

(not literally, of course.) I maranged out of it with some roan burn and a fractured pelvis only, and the other girl that was hit just furthered the injury on her knee, but all is well. whee Ouch, its ok if you don't post for weeks. smile Just tell me how long you'll be gone, so in case I plan something out.

I'm glad you're all right. sad Take your time, obviously roleplaying should take a back seat to your personal health. Artemis is going to be semi-unavailable for awhile anyway, so no rush.

But it was WAY more fun than I thought it would be. They played decent-to-crappy songs, but we danced anyway. Not going to dances doesn't make you a loser. One of my friends never goes to dances and she's the most popular one out of our little gang, and definitely not a loser. Hope you feel better soon, Alex. I've never been hit by a car, so I can't say I know how it feels. Did they catch the person who did it? Oh gosh, take your time and such.

The person stopped right away... They had been breaking anyhow. It was right after our homecoming parade, so if she had tried to get away, she would have been mobbed, probably.
And if you've never been hit by a car... don't go and try it. xd

Our homecoming parade was on the track, and was about three floats (carried by students, that's how small each one was) long, so I'm safe on that front.
